Abstract

Media audio siniar bisa dijadikan sebuah media pembelajaran untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak siswa dalam memahami sebuah materi pembelajaran juga untuk menarik minat siswa dalam kegiatan menyimak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan media audio siniar terhadap kemampuan menyimak cerita inspiratif pada siswa kelas IX C di SMPN 13 Sukabumi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif. Selanjutnya jenis penelitian yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu jenis eksperimen. Metode penelitian eksperimen digunakan untuk mencari pengaruh perlakuan tertentu terhadap yang lain dalam kondisi yang terkendalikan dengan menggunakan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design yang mana nanti siswa akan diberikan sebuah tes pretest-posttest. Penggunaan media audio siniar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak siswa dapat dilihat dengan memberikan tes pretes-posttest. Pretest tes yang diberikan kepada siswa kelas IX C sebelum menggunakan media audio siniar sedangkan posttest adalah tes yang diberikan kepada siswa IX C setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan media audio siniar. Sehingga setelah tes pretest-posttest didapatkan sebuah nilai rata-rata dari tes pretest yaitu 61.14 sedangkan untuk nilai posttest mendapat nilai rata-rata 88.43. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji N-gain untuk melihat selisih atau peningkatan nilai dari tes pretest-posttest dan hasil dari nilai N-gain yaitu 0.7181 dengan kriteria tinggi. Sedangkan untuk nilai probabilitis mendapatkan hasil 0.00 < 0.05 sehingga nilai H0 ditolak. Dari penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media audio siniar berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menyimak siswa kelas IX C SMPN 13 Sukabumi dengan selisih peningkatan nilai N-gain 0.7181 dan nhasil nilai probabilitis 0.00<0.05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji struktur dan muatan nilai-nilai profetik yang terdapat pada Kumpulan Cerpen Anak “Meneladani Akhlak Rosulullah Muhammad S.AW. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kulitatif dengan Teknik deskriptif analisis. Hasil analisis terhadap struktur teks 3 cerpen anak tersebut menunjukkan bahwa struktur teks cerpen menarik dan variatif setiap cerita memiliki struktur alur yang sistematis (mayoritas menggunakan alur maju), tokoh yang kuat, dan latar yang mendukung tema. Penggunaan gaya bahasa yang komunikatif juga mendukung keterbacaan bagi anak-anak. Hasil analis nilai profetik menunjukkan bahwa ke 3 teks cerpen anak tersebut mengandung nilai-nilai profetik berupa nilai Humanisasi berupa pesan tentang kepedulian terhadap sesama, kasih sayang antar anggota keluarga dan empati sosial. Nilai liberasi tergambar dari upaya tokoh untuk membebaskan diri dari ketidakadilan atau Batasan sosial. Nilai transendensi tergambar dari kesadaran tokoh terhadap nilai-nilai spiritual dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan yang diwujudkan dengan wujud belajar sabar dengan ketentuan Tuhan sebagai bentuk kedewasaan iman.

Abstract

Reading comprehension is an essential skill that students must master in learning activities, particularly in Indonesian language learning. Good reading comprehension skills enable students to grasp key information, understand text structure, and summarize presented material. This research aims to determine the effect of the Quantum Reading method on the reading comprehension skills of eighth-grade students at SMP Islam Nurul Karomah in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employs a quantitative experimental method using a One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. This design involves two tests: pretest and posttest. The pretest assesses students' initial abilities, followed by treatment using the Quantum Reading method. Subsequently, a posttest is conducted to evaluate the learning outcomes after the treatment. The research findings indicate an improvement in students' reading comprehension skills after the application of the Quantum Reading method. The initial observation through the pretest shows an average student score of 63,86 categorized as sufficient. However, after the treatment and posttest, the average score significantly increased to 86,36 categorized as good. This result is supported by the t-test analysis, which shows a t-value of 27,27 greater than the t-table value of 1,720 at a 0,05significance level. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. This proves that the Quantum Reading method significantly influences the improvement of reading comprehension skills in news texts among eighth-grade students at SMP Islam Nurul Karomah in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using walking text media on the ability to read and understand news texts. The research method used is quantitative research using a Pre-Experimental Design One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The data collection technique in this research is a test.  The research instrument used in this research is an objective test in the form of a multiple choice of 20 questions which will be carried out twice, namely during the pre-test and post-test after being given treatment. The sample used by researchers was a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this research was 30 students of class VII K, SMPN 1 Sukabumi City for the 2023/2024 academic year.The results of the research showed that the students' pretest had an average result of 75.83, when they were given treatment using running text media, the students' scores changed when they were given the posttest, namely 89, which means that the students' scores increased after being given treatment. There is a difference between these two values. The tcount > ttable value has been consulted with a significance level of 0.05 and degrees of freedom (d) 23. In this study the tcount value was 10.69 and the ttable value was 2.045. Thus, the use of running text media can influence the ability to read and understand news texts in class VII students at SMPN 1 Sukabumi City. Based on the research results, it is hoped that it will become a reference or reference source in choosing media applications that are appropriate to the learning material and learning objectives to be achieved.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya keinginan dari mitra untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa khususnya kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Sukabumi dalam keterampilan aktif produktif menulis kreatif. Hasil observasi awal ke lapangan menunjukkan bahwa siswa memerlukan bimbingan yang intensif dalam menulis kreatif. Tentu saja di sini dibutuhkan suatu cara yang tepat agar tujuan tercapai. Dalam hal ini, model pembelajaran  yang  digunakan yaitu model psikologi komunitas. Selama ini siswa sebagai penulis pemula merasa bingung dalam membuat tulisan kreatif yang menarik. Maka, mereka dibimbing mulai dari bagaimana penemuan topik, gagasan ceita, tokoh, alur, konflik, sampai penyelesaian yang menarik. Kegiatan pembimbingan dilaksanakan semua dalam kelompok komunitas menulis. Dengan harapan masukan tidak hanya dari mentor tetapi dari teman-temannya yang lain. Dengan demikian gagasan setiap siswa semakin kaya dan menarik This service is motivated by the desire of partners to improve the ability of students, especially class X of SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Sukabumi in active productive creative writing skills. The results of initial observations in the field showed that students needed intensive guidance in creative writing. Of course, here a proper method is needed so that the goal is achieved. In this case, the learning model used is the community psychology model. So far, students as novice writers have been confused in creating interesting creative writing. So, they are guided starting from how to find topics, story ideas, characters, plots, conflicts, to interesting resolutions. Guidance activities are all carried out in writing community groups. With the hope that input is not only from mentors but also from other friends. Thus, each student's ideas are increasingly rich and interesting.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Think Talk Write learning method assisted by video on the expository writing skills of eighth-grade students at MTs Al Ma’tuq Sukabumi. This research employed a quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 28 students selected through purposive sampling. Data collection instruments included writing tests (pretest and posttest) and observations of teacher and student activities during the learning process. The results showed an increase in the average score from 70.54 on the pretest to 79.46 on the posttest after implementing the Think Talk Write method with video assistance. The t-test results indicated that the t-value (11.19) was greater than the t-table value (1.703), which means H? is rejected and H? is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the Think Talk Write method assisted by video has a significant effect on students' ability to write expository texts. This method fosters an active, collaborative, and engaging learning environment while helping students structure and develop their ideas more effectively. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes menulis (pretest dan posttest) serta observasi terhadap aktivitas guru dan siswa selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari pretest sebesar 70,54 menjadi 79,46 pada posttest setelah diterapkan metode Think Talk Write berbantuan video. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai thitung sebesar 11,19 > ttabel sebesar 1,703, yang berarti H? ditolak dan H? diterima. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Think Talk Write berbantuan video berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi. Metode ini mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif, kolaboratif, dan menyenangkan, serta membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan ide secara terstruktur dan sistematis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk 1) memaparkan unsur pembangun pada puisi “Tengah Malam”, “Kebun Hujan”, dan “Kepada Uang”  yang terdapat dalam antologi Selamat Menunaikan Ibadah Puisi karya Joko Pinurbo. Selain itu, penelitian ini pun bertujuan untuk 2) menggunakan hasil analisis unsur pembangun pada puisi Tengah Malam”, “Kebun Hujan”, dan “Kepada Uang”  yang terdapat dalam antologi Selamat Menunaikan Ibadah Puisi karya Joko Pinurbo sebagai bahan pembelajaran sastra di sekolah khususnya dalam pembelajaran analisis puisi yang terdapat di kelas X. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan yaitu deskriptif analis. Kemudian, teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis lakukan yaitu observasi, dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil analisis tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar siswa kelas X yang tetap menyesuaikan dengan kurikulum dan silabus yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the use of teaching materials for literary works sourced from Suara 'Aisyiyah magazine. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with descriptive analysis techniques. This research describes the suitability of implementing poetry sourced from the magazine Suara ‘Aisyiyah to be used as teaching material in literature learning at Muhammadiyah High School, Sukabumi City. The results of the analysis show that the poems taken and used in literature learning at the Muhammadiyah High School in Sukabumi City, namely the poems "Soundless Screams" and "The Owner of Earth" by Cheny Kurata A'Yun, can be used as suitable teaching materials for students, especially in studying material about the building blocks of a poem at the high school level. Abstract

This study aims to identify and evaluate high school students' scores in Sukabumi City on the reading section of the Indonesian Language Proficiency Test. The research method used a descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research are students from SMA Muhammadiyah in Sukabumi City, consisting of 5 classes, namely classes X, XI A, XI B, XII IPS, and XII IPA. The instrument used was an Indonesian Language Proficiency Test sheet containing 40 questions. The data analysis technique used was a qualitative descriptive method to describe the results of the students' proficiency data. The results showed that the initial abilities of the five classes in high school in Sukabumi City, namely classes X, XI A, XI B, XII IPS, and XII IPA, obtained an average score of 170, while the abilities in the second test of the five classes in high school in Sukabumi City, namely classes X, XI A, XI B, XII IPS, and XII IPA, obtained an average score of 194. The results of the data from the two test sessions, the scores of the UKBI test in the reading category, showed that from the five classes, the results for test 1 show an average student ability score of 170 with a "Madya" predicate, while test 2 shows an average student ability score of 194 with a "Madya" predicate, indicating an improvement between test 1 and test 2. Although the reading proficiency predicate remains "Madya" between test 1 and test 2.

Abstract

This study focuses on the analysis of the form of social criticism contained in the drama Panembahan Reso by W.S. Rendra. The drama Panembahan Reso tells a story about criticism of the New Order government under the leadership of President Soeharto. This study uses a sociology of literature approach and Soerjono Soekanto's sociology of literature theory. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. We collected data using reading and recording techniques. Data analysis includes three stages, namely data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of this study contain forms of social criticism in the form of poverty, crime, family disorganization, and bureaucracy. Social criticism of poverty includes economic problems. Crime criticism includes problems of murder, betrayal, and overthrow of power. Social criticism of family disorganization includes divisions that occur in families. Bureaucratic criticism includes problems of corruption, collusion, and nepotism.
