Abstract

Abstrak; The purpose of carrying out this research was to find out the teacher's role in improving the soft skills of students at MTsN 3 Muaro Jambi. This research was conducted at MTsN 3 Muaro Jambi from 8 February to 16 April 2022. The method for obtaining data used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis performed was of a qualitative nature. The results obtained after the implementation of the research, namely the role of PPKn teachers in improving the Soft Skills of students at MTsN 3 Muaro Jambi, were not optimal, this was caused by several factors such as the urgency of implementing learning aimed at hard skills not soft skills, teachers did not really understand about soft skills, teachers do not know and understand various methods and strategies in improving soft skills in learning and have an impact on the monotony of the methods used during the implementation of learning and foster boredom in students, the teacher does not understand the character of students, causing the teacher to find it difficult to manage students and make learning not conducive. The advice given after this research was carried out was that the teacher should further improve his Soft Skills and exemplify students with a good attitude. This is because the teacher is at the forefront of students in finding references to soft skills and good character.

Abstract

This study intends to examine how the UPTD for the Protection of Women and Children helps victims of domestic violence in Jambi City to obtain legal protection. A qualitative research methodology was used. Through the use of primary and secondary data, this research is descriptive in nature. Interviews and documentation are used as primary data collection methods, then the data will be analyzed qualitatively. The findings of this study indicate that the role of the UPTD for the Protection of Women and Children in providing legal protection for women victims of domestic violence has been going well, but not yet optimal. This is because there has been an increase in violence against women, and there will be a decrease in case data in 2022 because victims will tend not to report their experiences. In addition to providing legal protection for women victims of domestic violence, the UPTD for the Protection of Women and Children also functions as a mediator between victims and perpetrators. The task of the UPTD for the Protection of Women and Children is reduced to being a companion if the legal and religious courts are successful. In order to provide legal protection for women victims of domestic violence, the UPTD for the Protection of Women and Children must overcome challenges from victims, families of victims or perpetrators, and society. Based on this, the UPTD for the Protection of Women and Children seeks to provide this legal protection, in particular by conducting socialization and collaborating with related social organizations.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of poor compliance among land taxpayers and community structures in the Tabir area of Merangin Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between land and building taxpayer compliance in Tabir induk sub-district, Merangin district is influenced by the knowledge of land and building taxpayers. Quantitative methodology was used in this study, the data collection tool used a questionnaire. Quantitative research is a research method used to answer the truth of the hypothesis. The conclusion of this research data analysis shows that the taxpayer awareness variable (X) has an effect on land and building taxpayer compliance (Y). The coefficient of determination R, which is 38.9 percent, indicates the degree of impact between factors in the examination of taxpayer awareness and compliance among land and building taxpayers. It is hoped that the recommendations in this study will increase the sample size of the study, expand the sample of researchers, and allow researchers to conduct studies in other locations or provinces so that the findings can be extrapolated to a larger population. This research contributes to the creation of courses, especially in the field of taxpayer awareness and taxpayer compliance. In addition, researchers are expected to focus their studies on additional elements that may affect taxpayer compliance outcomes that have not been included in this study.

Abstract

PPKN (Citizenship Education) learning is learning related to applicable laws and regulations. abuse of narcoticsl isl a violationl of the lawl and there are articles that do not allow abuse of narcotics, it's just that people are indifferent to legislation and still violate a lot of predetermined norms. Class II B Narcotics Penitentiary (LAPAS) Muara Sabak as one of the government institutions that has the function of fostering convicts, especially convicts with cases of narcotics abuse, which continuesl to increasel everyl year. Thel purposel of this researchl isl to findl outl the coaching efforts carried out in Class II B Corrective Institution Of Muara Sabak In this study, the researcher used a qualitative research methodology with the aim of producing research in the form of elaborating words that presented the facts that had been obtained in the field. Data search techniquesl usedl are interviews,l observation,l and documentationl studies. Interviews were conducted with employees related to coaching. Froml thel resultsl of thisl studyl itl wasl foundl thatl thel Classl II B Narcoticsl Correctionall Institutionl in Muaral Sabak had a personality and independence development program. Personality development programs include religion, mentality and statehood. Meanwhile, self-reliance development programs include animal husbandry, agriculture and batik. These programs run well but have obstacles in their implementation, namely the number of inmates that exceed the capacity of LAPAS, facilities and infrastructure that are still lacking, the quality of coaching staff is not good, and the allocation of funding for program implementation is not optimal. Based on these findings it was concluded that the implementation of the coaching program at LAPAS Class II B Muara Sabak had not been running effectively as expected.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that cause an increase in traffic violations in the jurisdiction of  Polresta Jambi. Data collection This research was conducted at the  Polresta Jambi  and research was conducted in the Jambi City area from 5 December 2022 to 15 February 2023. The method for collecting data used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis used is qualitative in nature. The results obtained after the implementation of the research The factors causing the increase in traffic violations in the jurisdiction of the Jambi Police are due to human factors, vehicle factors, and road factors. Human factors are the most numerous or dominant traffic violations compared to other factors. Traffic violations due to the human factor in Jambi City are caused by various reasons including: wanting to save time and money, being careless, in a hurry, wanting to get to your destination quickly, and being forgetful or negligent. The most common types of violations committed related to human factors that occurred in Jambi City include: violations related to the number of passengers, violations related to the use of helmets, violations related to not being able to show STNK and SIM, and violations related to running red lights.

Abstract

This research departs from initial observations made by researchers at SMA Negeri 4 Jambi City, that class X (Phase E) students did not show an attitude of defending the country. This research aims to describe the role of PPKn teachers in instilling an attitude of defending the country in class . The approach to this research uses a qualitative approach and uses a qualitative descriptive research type. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation techniques.The results of this research show that PPKn teachers have carried out their role in instilling an attitude of defending the country, but there are several roles of PPKn teachers that have not been implemented by PPKn teachers, so the researcher concludes that PPKn teachers have not fully carried out their role well in accordance with the theory of the role of PPKn teachers put forward by Marzuki and Feriandi (2016:195), namely 1) Motivating Students, 2) Directing Students, 3) Initiator, 4) Informator, 5) Evaluator, 6) Facilitator. Then, the obstacles for PPKn teachers in instilling an attitude of defending the country in class X (Phase E) students at SMA Negeri 4 Jambi City are divided into 2 factors, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors are factors that come from within the student, such as a lack of student awareness. Then external factors are factors that are caused from outside the student, such as the student's background, the influence of social media and the student's environment.

Abstract

AbstrakKekurang tepatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru akan berdampak pada kurang berkembangnya peserta didik. Salah satu faktor penyebab tidak berkembangnya peserta didik adalah metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat.Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan adalah merupakan mata pelajaran wajib yang harus ditempuh oleh peserta didik di mana mata pelajaran tersebut banyak memuat nilai normatif daripada konsep, sehingga pendidik banyak menggunakan metode ceramah. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan karena dalam penelitian ini akan mengujicobakan suatu strategi pembelajaran, yaitu strategi pembelajaran inkuiri apakah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran PKn kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. Penelitian akan di awali dengan observasi tentang gambaran aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa, setelah itu dilaksanakan uji coba pemakaian strategi pembelajaran dengan pendekatan inquiri, dengan harapan akan ada peningkatan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dari setiap siklus maka terdapat peningkatan Aktivitas belajar, yang dapat diartikan sebagai bentuk interaksi dalam proses pembelajaran, baik interaksi antara siswa maupun interaksi antara siswa dan guru. Pada prinsipnya belajar adalah berbuat, berbuat untuk mengubah tingkah laku, jadi melakukan kegiatan. Tidak ada belajar kalau tidak ada aktivitas. Pada hasil penelitian dengan judul peningkatan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar pendidikan kewarganegaraan melalui strategi pembelajaran inkuiri ini diperoleh peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas 8.b yang berlangsung dari siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III.Kata Kunci: Aktifitas, Inkuiri, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa kelas r02 prodi PPKn. Model jigsaw ini di pilih sebagai solusi yang ditemukan peneliti di lapangan tentang masih rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar, di lihat dari pembuatan tugas makalah dan tampilah power point presentasi mereka, cara mengajukan dan menjawab pertanyaan, hasil kuis, hasil UTS dan hasil UAS di mata kuliah demokrasi pancasila. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, Implementasi Tindakan, Observasi dan Analisis dan Refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara studi dokumentas dan studi literature. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemanfaatan Model Jigsaw pada Mata Kuliah demokrasi Pancasila dapat Meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar Mahasiswa. Presentase siswa dengan kemampuan berfikir kreatif pada siklus I adalah 35,5. Pada siklus II presentasenya naik menjadi 54,8 dan pada siklus III mengalami peningkatan presentase menjadi 87,1. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I presentase di peroleh adalah 34,0. Pada siklus II presentase diperoleh 56,8 dan pada siklus tiga mengalami kenaikan menjadi 78,4.Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning, Jigsaw, Motivasi, Hasil Belajar AbstractThis study aims to increase the motivation and learning outcomes of class r02 students of Civics Study Program. This jigsaw model was chosen as a solution found by researchers in the field regarding the low motivation and learning outcomes, seen from the making of their paper assignments and the appearance of their power point presentations, how to ask and answer questions, quiz results, UTS results and UAS results in courses. Pancasila democracy. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation and analysis and reflection. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, document study and literature study. The results of the study show that the use of the Jigsaw Model in Pancasila democracy courses can increase student motivation and learning outcomes. The percentage of students with creative thinking skills in the first cycle is 35.5. In the second cycle the percentage rose to 54.8 and in the third cycle the percentage increased to 87.1. Meanwhile, for learning outcomes increased in the first cycle, the percentage obtained was 34.0. In the second cycle the percentage was 56.8 and in the third cycle it increased to 78.4.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Jigsaw, Motivation, Learning Outcomes

Analysis of Community Behavior Regarding Legal Compliance with Health Protocols during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Alam Barajo District: Thesis, Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, FKIP Jambi University, Supervisor (I) Drs. Irzal Anderson, M.Sc., (II) Dona Sariani, M.Pd. This study aims to analyze people's behavior regarding legal compliance with health protocols during the covid-19 pandemic in Alam Barajo District, especially residents of the Kenali Besar, Beliung and Bagan Pete villages. This research was conducted using a qualitative procedure with data and data sources obtained from informants, namely the Head of RT 09 Kenali Besar sub-district, residents of Alam Barajo District and several other residents who have different professions, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, the findings and conclusions of this study are on the behavior of people who occurred during the covid-19 pandemic in implementing health protocols as a new behavior set by the government to prevent an increase in the spread of covid-19 and reduce transmission of covid-19 In the community, researchers found that many people are aware of and comply with health protocols, but there are still some who are not aware and obedient in carrying out this new behavior such as the 5 M movement, one of which is wearing a mask and keeping a distance/being in a crowd when interacting outside. House. There needs to be proper direction to the community to continue to comply with existing health protocols for the common good.

Abstract

Community Participation Being an important thing in the life of the state, the fact in today's society is that participation is limited to the use of voting rights. but even then it is not good, from the results of the vote count carried out by the Muaro Jambi KPU in the 2020 Regional Head Election, it did not reach the KPU's target of 77.5%. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of political participation and the factors that influence the participation of novice voters in the implementation of the simultaneous regional elections in 2020. The informants of this study were the Chairperson of the KPU, the Head of the Technical Sub-section for Election Administration, Participation and Public Relations, and novice voters. is a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques in research are interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique of this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the forms of political participation were analyzed through the theory of political participation by rush and althoff which divided participation into 10 forms, in research on novice voters only optimal in several forms and factors that influence novice voters in participating include the stimuli received, social characteristics, characteristics personal, political situation and environment and political education. Seeing the importance of the purpose of participation in the life of the state, it is a must for the government, KPU, community and beginner voters themselves to play an active role in building a good habit for novice voters through preventive measures by socializing, counseling and building a conducive political environment for novice voters. in order to be comfortable to participate.
