Abstract

School life is an important part of children's lives. They spend most of their time at school. The high level of physical activity carried out by school adolescents is one of the factors that cause conditions of foreign body entry in the eye. Accidents or injuries can become emergencies and cause serious injuries and even death if not treated properly. Accidents or injuries can become an emergency case and cause serious injuries and even death if not treated properly. Improving the health status of the school community can be done with a variety of activities, one of which is the provision of Corpus Alienum Eye Aid Training. Students at SMAN I Papar are a group of adolescents in the community who have a risk of health problems due to dynamic activities. First aid for eye injuries due to foreign body entry in the eye (Corpus Alienum in the Eye) can be a treatment that can be given immediately. To prevent the injury from getting worse, Corpus alienum often affects the sclera, cornea, and conjunctiva. Each of these parts can lead to different complications. If a corpus alienum enters the eyeball/oculi, there will be a severe infectious reaction and intraocular damage. Therefore, it is necessary to quickly recognize the object and determine its location for later removal. Community service activities in the form of Corpus Alienum Eye Aid Training at PMR SMAN I Papar is a very positive activity to be carried out in order to disseminate health science so as to increase the knowledge and ability of each student in providing assistance in shoulder dislocation.

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) states that as many as 972 million people or 26.4% of the world's population suffer from hypertension. Complications of hypertension cause heart disease, stroke and kidney disease. One non-pharmacological therapy is progressive muscle relaxation and slow deep breathing. This research design uses a pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique of 45 respondents. The results of analysis using the paired t-test showed that systolic and diastolic blood pressure showed a significant decrease before and after the combined intervention of progressive muscle relaxation and slow deep breathing where the p-value before the therapy was given = 0.000 and the p-value after the intervention was given = 0.000 (α <0.05). There is an influence between the combination of progressive muscle relaxation and slow deep breathing on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive sufferers.

Joint pain is a sign that is often complained about by people with gout, joint pain occurs due to the deposition of uric acid crystals in the joints caused by high uric acid in the blood exceeding normal limits so that the blood in the body settles into urate crystals which cause swelling, redness, and pain. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of wet cupping to reduce joint pain in Temboro Village, Magetan Regency. The research design used Pre experiment with one group pretest posttest design. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with a sample size of 18 respondents. The tools used in data collection are observation sheets, NRS (Numeric Rating Scale) pain scale measuring instruments. The results of the study with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test of joint pain before and after being given wet cupping obtained a p-value of 0.000 (α = 0.05), this shows a significance value of <0.05 which means that there is an effectiveness of wet cupping to reduce joint pain. Wet cupping for 2 times within 2 weeks can reduce joint pain. Therefore, cupping can be used as an alternative nonpharmacological treatment for joint pain. Where wet cupping plays a role in reducing the intensity of pain felt by stimulating nerve fibers through pressure, touch, or vibration.
