Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching strategies for 8th grade junior high school students, so that the transfer of knowledge oriented towards creativity and student independence or called Student Center Learning (SCL) can be well implied, according to Permendikbud No. 3, 2020 pertains to MB-KM. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using Outcome Based Education (OBE) approach. The focus of this research is 1) Teaching techniques oriented to Student Center Learning (SCL); 2) The advantages and disadvantages of SCL-oriented teaching techniques; 3) Implementation of the discussion method in the learning of eighth grade students of SMP Gema 45 Surabaya. The subjects of this research are seventh semester students, Faculty of Psychology, University of 45 Surabaya, while the object of research is students of SMP Gema 45 Surabaya, eighth grade. The MB-KM program offered by the University of 45 Surabaya is used as a medium in implementing the practice of teaching Indonesian. Data collection was carried out in three stages. First, observation, 1) students mapped the sample population by coordinating with the SMP Gema 45 Surabaya; 2) determination of teaching class; 3) recording the results of observations in the form of written documentation about the activities carried out during interacting with students. second stage; interviews with 3 groups of 8th grade students. The third stage is the documentation and data analysis process, namely collecting, reducing, presenting, and concluding data. The results showed that the subjects were able to apply the SCL learning method using the discussion method.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan pemahaman materi kelas pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, mahasiswa semester satu, periode 2023-2024 Universitas Airlangga melalui model pembelajaran provokatif-interaksial (PPI) dengan cara pengoptimalan artificial intelgent (AI) ChatGPT dalam menelusuri referensi saat diskusi. Fokus penelitian: 1) apakah penerapan model PPI dapat meningkatkan keaktifan mahasiswa Universitas Airlangga kelas bahasa Indonesia 2023-2024; 2) bagaimana cara mengoptimalkan ChatGPT dalam mencari referensi dalam diskusi mahasiswa Universitas Airlangga kelas bahasa Indonesia 2023-2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan (action research) dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui: 1) studi dokumen (literatur review), 2) observasi (informasi data mahasiswa dan tes), 3) pencatatan. Subyek penelitian merupakan kelas PDB 09, mahasiswa Universitas Airlangga semester satu, 2023-2024 pada kelas mengajar bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) proses diskusi lebih aktif menggunakan model PPI; 2) argumentasi dalam diskusi dapat dipertanggungjawabkan melalui penelusuran referensi menggunakan ChatGPT.

Abstract

General Background: Feminism education is crucial for fostering mutual respect and understanding of gender differences, emphasizing the social identity of archipelago feminism. This approach embraces the values of womanhood rooted in Indonesian culture and customs. Specific Background: The book "Sarinah" by President Sukarno offers a foundational perspective for exploring the historical and cultural significance of feminism education in Indonesia. Knowledge Gap: Despite analyses of "Sarinah" focusing on feminist values and Marxist literary criticism, research on the specific educational arena of feminism in Indonesia is limited. Aims: This study aims to analyze the Indonesian feminism education arena as presented in "Sarinah," using a qualitative methodology, including literature review and event interpretation. Results: The analysis identifies four key aspects: the third phase of civilization evolution, the role of intelligence, motivations of Indonesian feminism, and external influences such as society, family, and education systems. Novelty: The study highlights the distinctiveness of feminism education in Indonesia by focusing on local cultural values. Implications: The research emphasizes integrating cultural and traditional values in feminism education to promote gender equality. It calls for empowering women, recognizing their equal capabilities to men, and eliminating discrimination based on gender, class, or ethnicity. Abstract

Every mother wants to provide the best for her child. For mothers of children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), the daily journey of parenting is often filled with challenges. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between Parenting Self-efficacy (PSE) and Subjective Well-Being (SWB) among mothers of ADHD children currently attending Alejo School in Surabaya. This cross-sectional study involved 40 mothers who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Correlation analysis was conducted using Pearson’s product-moment correlation method. SWB was measured using Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) from Diener et al. (1985) and Positive Affect Negative Affect Scale (PANAS) from Watson et al. (1988) while Parenting Self-Efficacy (PSE) was measured using Self Efficacy for Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) from Coleman & Karraker, (2003). The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between the five aspects of PSE with Satisfaction with Life Scale (r = 0.488 – 0.653, p<.001) and Positive Affect (r = 0.722 – 0.842, p<.001), as well as a significant negative relationship with Negative Affect (r = -0.476 – -0.782, p<.001) of mothers who had ADHD children. This research is expected to provide a deeper understanding of the importance of PSE in influencing the SWB of mothers who have children with ADHD.

Abstract

Film dapat dijadikan sebagai media komunikasi untuk menyampaikan pesan dalam bentuk visual. Terdapat makna substantif yang dapat dieksplorasi pada setiap sekuel adegan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tahapan perkembangan sosial yang dialami oleh tokoh utama, Anna dalam film animasi berjudul “When Marnie was There” menggunakan pendekatan psikososial dengan teori Psikososial Erik Erikson. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif naratif dengan unit kajiannya berupa performansi adegan yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan konteks psikis dan sosial tokoh utama. Teknik pengumpulan data didapat dengan cara menyimak keseluruhan adegan, menglasifikasikan adegan yang berhubungan konteks psikis dan sosial, menganalisis data, dan menyimpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh utama Anna telah melewati empat tahapan perkembangan sosial yaitu: 1) tahapan kepercayaan vs kecurigaan, 2) Otonomi vs perasaan malu, 3) Inisiatif vs kesalahan, dan 4) Kerajinan vs inferioritas.Kata Kunci: Perkembangan sosial, psikososial, When Marnie was There
