Abstract

Analisis terhadap potensi sekolah harus mampu dilakukan secara menyeluruh dalam berbagai aspek berkaitan dengan pengelolaan lembaga/sekolah, baik internal maupun eksternal. Konteks tersebut sangat berkaitan erat dengan kelangsungan atau eksistensi lembaga/sekolah itu sendiri. Realitas ini dikarenakan kelangsungan lembaga/sekolah tergantung pada hasil penerimaan siswa baru sebagai customer atau pelanggan pendidikan, sehingga lembaga/sekolah memiliki pendanaan yang cukup untuk proses pelayanan pendidikan. Salah satu langkah yang dapat dimanfaatkan lembaga/sekolah dalam merefleksikan kualitas layanan yang diberikan dapat menggunakan analisis SWOT. Fungsi utama dari analisis SWOT adalah mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman terhadap lembaga/sekolah, sehingga mampu terefleksikan dalam sebuah perancanaan yang matang dalam menghadirkan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Penggunaan SWOT disisi lain dapat memetakan potensi lembaga/sekolah, yang kemudian dapat dikontruksi sebagai alat untuk pemasaran/promosi lembaga/sekolah itu sendiri. Pentingnya analisis SWOT di era disrupsi saat ini, belum diimbangi kemampuan personal lembaga/sekolah dalam mengimplementasikannya secara komprehensif. Akibat dari kondisi tersebut, langkah pemasaran lembaga/sekolah hanya berlangsung secara kultural, tidak ada langkah strategis yang mampu dikonstruksi untuk dimanfaatkan dalam rangka proses penerimaan/rekruitmen siswa baru. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebagai program kegiatan pengabdian pada Masyarakat yang dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan, pelatihan SWOT pada personil lembaga/sekolah secara langsung agar berdampak terhadap kreatifitas dan program kerja yang rasional dan realitas dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan yang diberikan oleh sekolah. Teridentifikasinya kelemahan dapat menjadi peluang dalam pemetaan potensi sekolah, sehingga langkah strategis pengembangan sekolah dapat dilakukan yang dapat berdampak pada timbulnya animo masyarakat terhadap sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

Background: The main basis of this research is based on the importance of understanding the vision and mission of school institutions as ideals that want to be realized. Formulating the school's vision and mission certainly has a foundation of values ​​that form its spirit, so that there is harmony between the activities carried out by the school and the realization of the vision and mission that have been formulated. Purpose of the Study: This research aims to determine the basis for formulating the school's vision and mission at the early childhood education level. This research approach is qualitative, with data collection techniques using documentation. Methods: The data analysis technique uses content analysis using Nvivo 12. The research was conducted in 5 early childhood education schools. Results: The results of the research show that the formulation of vision. Mission in early childhood education schools is based on religious values ​​and general or non-religious values. Conclusion: The conclusion of the research results, explicit value content in the formulation of the school's vision and mission, namely religious and non-religious or general values.

Abstract

Differentiated learning has begun to be implemented in several schools in Indonesia, one of which is SMA Negeri 1 Panji Situbondo. This research aims to describe implementation steps and improving learning outcomes through differentiated learning in class XI-9 in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Characteristics.. This research was conducted in less than one month with the research location at SMA Negeri 1 Situbondo banner.Data collection methods in this research include observation, interviews, and documentation studies. After the data was collected, analysis was carried out using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type of research. The research results show that differentiated learning has been implemented systematically. The process begins with mapping student learning needs, obtained through an initial assessment in the form of a pretest. Next, the teacher develops learning modules that are adapted to the mapping results using four main approaches: differentiation of content, process, product and learning environment. The implementation of differentiated learning is carried out in accordance with the planning and schedule set by the school. The final step is reflection and evaluation using formative and summative assessments to measure improvements in student learning outcomes. The research results showed that after implementing differentiated learning, student learning outcomes in class XI-9 experienced a significant increase. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for educators and policy makers in improving teaching strategies that are more adaptive and effective, so as to maximize students' learning potential optimally.

Abstract

Relating to one type of educational institution, namely schools, currently there are still many schools/madrasas that have difficulty accepting new students, which has an impact on the minimum number of students entering these schools/madrasas. This phenomenon cannot be separated from the growth of new educational institutions, as well as changes in government policy in accepting new students for state schools such as zoning pathways, achievement pathways, independent pathways and other pathways. This has an impact on the ability of private schools/madrasahs in villages in particular, to become a destination or choice for prospective new students to receive education. Based on this, strategies are needed to increase public interest in schools or institutions. The strategy is "School Branding". School branding in offering its institution to prospective students. The concept of school branding is related to brand image, namely as an image displayed by schools/madrasahs to potential customers, namely students and parents (Rizkiyah et al., 2020). The image of the school/madrasah must be able to be displayed in a straightforward and firm manner as a supporting factor in the process of accepting new students, so that they are interested in registering at the school/madrasah. So to develop this strategy, training is needed to build the school's image
