Abstract

As time goes by, even though there are positive impacts, we also have to be aware of the negative impacts that can threaten existing local culture. However, in the Akur Sunda Wiwitan community, they have a way to maintain their local beliefs, customs and culture amidst rapid technological advances. This research aims to reveal how the Akur Sunda Wiwitan people use communication patterns as a tool to maintain the arts and culture that have been passed down from one generation to the next. This research uses qualitative research methods with a constructivist approach, based on ethnographic communication theory. The data in this research was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data analysis process follows the Miles and Huberman model, which includes the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are presented in the form of a qualitative description, namely explaining the communication patterns used by the Akur Sunda Wiwitan community in written form. This research focuses on two interesting activities studied, namely communication patterns that emerge in Nonoman routine collections and Taman Atikan activities. The communication carried out in these two activities are uses verbal and non-verbal communication. In the Nonoman group, there is a two-way communication pattern, while in Taman Atikan activities, there is a circular communication pattern. In these two communication patterns, the communicator and the communicant can directly interact with each other.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service activity aims to reduce the stunting rate in Bayongbong District by increasing cadres' communication skills in providing information about health to the community because cadres play an important role in socializing health programs to the community. Methodology: The activity methods used include: 1) the preparation stage, namely approaching the target audience, which begins with carrying out observations first, obtaining permission from the relevant agencies, and providing initial motivation to cadres who take part in service activities; and 2) the program implementation stage, which includes lectures, case studies, discussions, and the final evaluation stage. Results: The results of this service showed positive results by achieving knowledge and understanding of cadres related to the application of effective communication in conveying good information to the public. Cadres as participants in this activity expressed their readiness to convey health information to the public through effective communication strategies. Limitations: Health workers and related agencies need to play a role in socializing health programs to increase the credibility of the information conveyed to the public. Therefore, collaborative efforts are needed among government institutions, community leaders, and cadres. Contributions: This community service increases the communication capacity of cadres to inform the community about health programs.

Abstract

This research emerged due to the increasing number of fake news on social media which has negative impacts such as misinformation and propaganda. This problem is getting worse because widespread access to social media is exacerbating the situation, even triggering social conflict. To overcome this, the West Java Diskominfo established Jabar Saber Hoaks on Instagram and websites to verify fake news and reduce its spread. The aim of this research is to understand how West Java Saber Hoaks manages news production in dealing with the spread of fake news on social media. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and observation. News production management is observed based on George R. Terry's management principles which include Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling or POAC. Research subjects included division heads, coordinators, dissemination heads, and West Java Saber Hoaks social media managers. The research results show that West Java Saber Hoax implements planning steps by setting priorities and analyzing hoax trends. Organizing is carried out by teams responsible for fact checking and social media. The clarification process is carried out by checking facts first, then distributing verified information through social media and websites. Control is carried out by monitoring the reach and response to clarifying news. In conclusion, Jabar Saber Hoaks has carried out careful planning, efficient organization, active implementation and careful control in fighting fake news on social media.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of students' responsible attitudes in elementary schools, which can be seen from the results of initial observations at SDN 3 Cipareuan and The use of the disciplinary approach that has been used is more focused on punishment, which is less effective in establishing long-term responsibility. So another method is needed, namely by implementing a positive discipline model through the restitution triangle developed by Diane Gossen. This research using a quantitative experimental method with a one group pretestposttest design, the research subjects consisted of 22 class IV students at SDN 3 Cipareuan. Technique Data collection includes observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis carried out using the Wilcoxon test, as well as the N-Gain test to determine the level increasing students' responsible attitudes after implementing positive discipline. Results research shows that the application of positive discipline through the restitution triangle provide a significant influence on increasing the attitude of responsibility the student answered. From the results of observations, students obtained an average score of 70% in the high category. The Wilcoxon test shows a value of 0.00 < 0.05, so the alternative hypothesis is accepted, which means there is a significant increase in student responsibility attitude. The N-Gain test results show an increase of 0.90 which is categorized as a high increase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media google classroom terhadap motivasi belajar siswa khususnya di SDIT An-Nur Cilawu. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena proses belajar yang diharuskan secara daring maka diperlukannya suatu media yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Dalam hal ini dilakukan penyebaran angket terhadap siswa SDIT An-Nur Cilawu kelas V sebanyak 40 orang. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan maka dapat disimpulkan respon siswa terhadap media google classroom dan motivasi belajar siswa  dikategorikan baik. Adapun nilai determinasi dari penelitian ini sebesar 16.418% dan nilai epsilon dari penelitian ini sebesar 83.582% hal ini karena adanya pengaruh lain yang tidak dilakukan Penelitian.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Garut tahun 2023, terdapat lebih dari 1.200 anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) yang bersekolah di berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Sebagian besar di antaranya mengalami hambatan perkembangan motorik kasar, yang berdampak pada keterlambatan keterampilan gerak dasar dan keterbatasan dalam berinteraksi sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar anak berkebutuhan khusus melalui penerapan seni tari kreatif menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) di SDIT Al-Bayyinah Kabupaten Garut. Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah keterbatasan motorik kasar pada siswa ABK serta rendahnya kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan seni tari sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam empat siklus, meliputi tahap observasi, pelatihan guru, implementasi pengajaran tari kepada siswa ABK, serta evaluasi dampak program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan motorik kasar, kemampuan interaksi sosial, dan rasa percaya diri siswa ABK. Selain itu, guru juga mengalami peningkatan kompetensi dalam menerapkan seni tari kreatif sebagai metode pembelajaran inklusif. Evaluasi program melalui angket guru memperlihatkan bahwa pendekatan ini efektif dalam membuat tubuh anak menjadi lebih lincah dan lentur, sekaligus mengatasi permasalahan perkembangan motorik siswa ABK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan menulis sebagai bagian dari pengembangan kreativitas dan ekspresi diri siswa. Namun, banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengekspresikan ide dan perasaan mereka melalui puisi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penerapan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis penerapan model pedagogi genre dalam pengajaran menulis puisi pada siswa kelas V SDN 4 Pangrumasan.  Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain pretest-posttest dalam satu kelas. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 11 siswa kelas V yang diajarkan menulis puisi menggunakan model pedagogi genre selama 3 pertemuan. Sebelum intervensi, siswa diberikan pretest untuk mengukur kemampuan awal mereka, dan setelah intervensi, mereka diberi posttest untuk menilai peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 58,4 dan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 76,82. Uji t menunjukkan p < 0,05 mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pedagogi genre efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar model pedagogi genre diintegrasikan lebih luas dalam pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar untuk mendukung perkembangan kemampuan menulis siswa.
