Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang manfaat permainan tradisional perepet jengkol bagi perkembangan anak. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode library research. Data yang didapat kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Kesimpulannya adalah permainan tradisional perepet jengkol memiliki manfaat bagi perkembangan anak usia dini. Manfaat pertama dapat dilihat pada aspek perkembangan fisik dan motorik anak yang ditandai dengan aktivitas fisik anak yang membutuhkan banyak energi yaitu anak bergerak melompat dan berputar dengan menggunakan satu kaki. Manfaat yang kedua yaitu pada aspek sosial emosional yang ditandai dengan kemampuan anak dalam menekan ego, berkomunikasi, dan bekerjasama. Manfaat yang ketiga yaitu pada aspek perkembangan bahasa yang ditandai dengan kemampuan anak dalam memperhatikan instruksi teman, penggunaan bahasa Sunda, dan pengucapan anak dengan tempo anak yang cepat.

Abstract

The problem in research was about the mastery of English vocabulary among students. Students had difficulties in writing words, understanding their meanings, and constructing correct sentences. Based on interview results, students often did not understand the material presented due to the use of ineffective teaching strategies and media. This condition led to unsatisfactory learning outcomes, as shown by the summative assessment 56% (18 out of 32 students) did not reach the Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKTP) of 75. The purpose of this study was to examine students’ vocabulary mastery before and after the implementation of the strategy, as well as to observe the process in each cycle. This research was conducted using Classroom Action Research two cycles. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The results showed significant improvement. The average student score increased from 58 in the pre-cycle to 75 in the first cycle, and 87 in the second cycle. The percentage of students achieving classical learning mastery also improved from 47% (15 students) in the pre-cycle, to 66% (21 students) in the first cycle, and 88% (28 students) in the second cycle. These results indicate that the applied strategy was effective in improving students’ vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive development of an interactive Pop-Up Book designed as an educational tool for Indonesian narrative texts, specifically tailored for fourth-grade students at the Islamic Elementary School of Bahrul Ihsan in Bandung City. Employing a rigorous Research and Development (R&D) methodology, the study utilized the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) to ensure a systematic and empirical approach. Data was gathered through a variety of methods, including interviews with classroom teachers, validation questionnaires from media and material experts, and direct feedback from both the fourth-grade teacher and students following the media's implementation. The results indicate that the learning medium possesses high validity and practicality. Validation from experts was highly positive, with media experts assigning a remarkable rating of 99% and material experts rating it at 93%, both categorized as "Very Feasible." Similarly, evaluations from the implementing teacher and students were highly encouraging, with scores of 81% and 93% respectively, also classifying the medium as "Very Feasible." Therefore, this study demonstrates that the Pop-Up Book is an effective and engaging tool for enhancing student interest and promoting active learning. It successfully addresses the limitations of traditional, monotonous textbooks and aligns seamlessly with the pedagogical characteristics of Phase B students within the Merdeka Curriculum. This research makes a significant, evidence-based contribution to the advancement of innovative educational media for Indonesian language instruction.

Abstract

RINGKASANArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kreativitas Wahyu Santosa Prabowo dalam menggarap dramatari Sunan Kalijaga. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas Wahyu dalam penggarapan dramatari Sunan Kalijaga tampak pada kemampuannya dalam memecahkan masalah ketika diminta menggarap sebuah karya tari yakni dengan cara memilih perjalanan spiritual Sunan Kalijaga sebagai ide garap tari. Ide kreatif muncul karena adanya beberapa aspek yang turut menunjang kreativitas. Di antaranya adalah keterlibatannya ketika dipercaya untuk menggarap karya tari di Universitas Michigan, kepekaan Wahyu dalam memahami situasi seperti memahami kemampuan penari dan pengrawit yang semua merupakan mahasiswa asing, dan perhatiannya untuk menampilkan seni Jawa yang digarap dengan memadukan nuansa Islam di negeri Paman Sam. Kreativitas juga tampak pada serangkaian proses kreatif penciptaan tari yang ia lakukan, yang terdiri dari proses eksplorasi, improvisasi, dan pembentukan. Dari adanya ide kreatif yang muncul dan serangkaian proses kreatif yang telah dilakukan tersebut tersebut terwujudlah bentuk sajian dramatari Sunan Kalijaga yang kental dengan nuansa Jawa dan Islam dengan penari dan pengrawit yang terlibat kebanyakan merupakan mahasiswa asing.ABSTRACTWahyu Santosa Prabowo’s Creativity in The Creation of Sunan Kalijaga Dance Drama. This article aims to describe the creativity of Wahyu Santosa Prabowo in the creation of Sunan Kalijaga dance drama. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative method. The data are collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The finding of this research shows that Wahyu’s creativity in creating Sunan Kalijaga dance drama is showcased in his problem-solving ability upon being asked to create a dance drama by choosing the spiritual journey of Sunan Kalijaga as the core idea for the dance. Such creative idea appears due to a number of aspects which support creativity. Among those aspects are his involvement when trusted to work on a dance in The University of Michigan, his sensitivity in grasping the situation such as knowing well about the skills and ability of the dancers and narrators even though the majority were foreign students, as well as his attention to show Javanese art which was created with Islamic nuance in The United States of America. His creativity is also visible in a set of creative processes while creating the dance, which includes exploration, improvisation, and formation. Thus, this resulted in the emergence of creative idea which led to the creation of dance drama of Sunan Kalijaga with its thick nuance of Javanese and Islamic culture, and with dancers as well as narrators who were mostly foreign students.
