Abstract

ABSTRACT The 2013 curriculum emphasizes students to be active in learning independently, have the skills to think and act, be critical, independent, productive, good cooperation and communicative. One of the curriculum demands can be realized by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in the learning process. This study aims to produce PBL-based worksheets on colloidal system materials that are valid and practical. The research implementation uses the R&D method. The development stage uses a 4D model consisting of define, design, develop and deploy which is limited to development due to time and cost limitations. The research was conducted by testing the validity and practicality of the resulting LKPD. Based on the research data obtained, 5 validators have a validity of 0.87 with a valid category. Practicality that was carried out to 3 teachers had a value of 91.67% in the very practical category and practicality to 30 students of class XI IPA had a practicality value of 88.5% in the very practical category. Abstract

The colloid system is a chemical material that is studied in class XI SMA/ MA in even semester. This material is close to everyday life, especially the nature, example, and requires practicum. Therefore, one of the learning strategies that can be used is contextual. The aim of the research is to produce an integrated LKPD for contextual-based practicum with a REACT component and determine the validity and practicality categories of teaching materials. The type of research is research and development (R&D) with a 4-D model, namely define, design, and develop, while the dissaminate stage is not carried out. The research data were analyzed using the Aiken’s V formula. Based on the analysis of the validity test questionnaire by 3 lecturers and 2 chemistry teachers, it was found that the LKPD was valid (0,86). The results of the analysis of the practicality questionnaire given to 3 chemistry teachers had a very practical category (92,30%) and the results of the questionnaire analysis given to 36 students of class XI had a very practical category (84,40%). Abstract

The Amine is closely related to everyday life, especially the caracteristic and sampling. This subject is a part of the carbon compounds taught on the second semester of 3rd grade High School. But the implementation was transferred to first semester due to the student’s final exam, so the learning process was uneffective.Therefore it needs 2013’s curriculum compatible teaching materials as amine students woeksheet which help students study independently. The purposes of this research are to develop a Problem Based Learning Student Worksheet and determine its validity. The research implementation uses the R&D method. The development stage uses a 4D model consisting of define, design, develop and disseminate which is limited to development due to time and cost limitationsThe data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The research data by five expert validators were analysed using the Aiken’s V formula. Based on the a research data obtained the resulting a validity of 0,87 with a valid category.

Abstract

Alkanols and Alkoxy Alkanes are one of the material for carbon compounds studied in the even semester of grade XII SMA/MA. It studies the structures, nomenclatures, isomers, physical properties, chemical reactions, synthesis, uses, and the infrared spectrums. In the discussion, this material has interconnected orders. Problem-Based Learning Model is one of the learning models used to study this material. This research aims to develop a student worksheet based on Problem Based Learning on Alkanol and Alkoxy Alkane materials and to determine its validity category. This was a Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D development model consisting of four stages: define, design, develop and disseminate. This research was limited to the development stage. The research instrument was a validity questionnaire given to five expert validators. The validity data of the PBL-based student worksheet were analyzed by using the Aiken’s V formula scale. The analysis showed that the LKPD was very valid (0.86).

Abstract

The material for hydrocarbons is quite dense but the allocation of study time at school is limited so that learning becomes less than optimal. Teaching materials are needed that can help students learn in class and independent learning outside of school. Technological developments allow teaching materials to be developed in electronic format. This teaching material can be used anywhere and anytime which is accessed via a mobile phone. In general, students already use Android, but it has not been widely used in learning. The teaching materials used in MAN 2 Kerinci are not yet scientific. Research was carried out with the aim of developing interactive e-modules through an android application based on guided discovery learning on hydrocarbon material for class XI SMA/MA and determining its validity and practicality. The type of research used is educational design research with a plomp development model. The instruments used in this study were validation and practicality questionnaires. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Aiken's V formula and the practicality percentage formula. Based on the research data, the validation test shows that the e-module is valid (0.83). The practicality test shows that the value of practicality for teachers and students is very practical (91% and 83%) in small groups.

Abstract

Benzene and its derivatives are aromatic compounds studied on the second semester of grade XII SMA/MA. Structure, nomenclature, physical properties, chemical reactions, uses and harmful and harmless benzene derivatives are the material studied on this topic. In the discussion of this material has interconnected regularities. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is one of the learning models used to study this material. Producing student worksheet-based PBL and determining the validity categories were the purposes of this study. 4-D models (define, design, develop, disseminate) were used in this study. This study is limited to the develop stage, namely the validity test. The product was validated by 3 chemistry lecturers from FMIPA UNP and 2 chemistery teachers at SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya. The instrument validity questionnaire was analyzed by using the Aiken V formula. The results of the analysis revealed that the developed LKPD was “very valid” resulting 0,85.
