Abstract

The aims of the research is to develop teaching materials in the form of student work sheets (SWS) on haloalkana  problem based learning and to reveal its validity and practicalities. The type of this research is Research and Development with 4-D development models which consists of  define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research is limited to develop stage. The research instrument used a questionnaire validity and practicality. The questionnaire of validity is filled by lecture and teacher. The questionnaire of practicality is filled by students in SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir. Data from this research will be analyzed using Cohen’s kappa formula. Based on the analysis of questionnaire known that LKPD produced has a very high validity category (κ=0,83); very high practicality (κ=0,88) based on teacher judgement; and high practicality (κ=0,79) based on student judgement. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan mengkarakterisasi flavonoid dari daun min(Melia azedarach). Metoda yang digunakan adalah ekstraksi secara maserasi dengan methanol dan fraksinasi menggunakan n-heksana dan etil asetat. Pemisahan dilakukan dengan kromatografi kolom dan pemurnian dengan rekristalisasi. Karakterisasi flavonoid dilakukan dengan KKt-2A terdapat noda dibahagian kiri bawah bewarna kuning lembut dengan sinar UV dan menjadi kuning kuat diuapi amoniak pekat. Bila direaksikan dengan pereaksi warna NaOH 10% , H2SO4 pekat bewarna kuning dan dengan MgCl/HCl bewarna oranye kuat.Hasil spektroskopi UV-vis memberikan serapan maksimal pada 256,0 nm (pita II) dan 374,1 nm (pita I). Penambahan NaOMe menurunkan intensitas spektrum. Penambahan NaOAc menyebabkan pergeseran batokromik 17,3 nm pita II dan penambahan H3BO3 terjadi pergeseran batokromik 16,7 nm pita I. Dengan AlCl3 terjadi pergeseran batokromik 22,6 nm pita I, penambahan HCl terjadi pergeseran batokromik 57,3 nm. Hasil Spektroskopi IR terdapat pita serapan pada 3300 cm -1, 1625 cm -1, 1520cm -1 dan 118 cm -1. Dari data yang didapat diduga flavonoid hasil isolasi adalah Aglikon flavonol dengan titik leleh 304,7 0 C 307,8 0 C. Kata kunci: Flavonoid, Isolasi, Karakterisasi.

Abstract

Tumbuhan Andrographis paniculata (Sambiloto) memproduksi beragam metabolit sekunder dengan berbagai aktivitas biologi, termasuk antibakteri. Selain dari tumbuhan alami, potensi senyawa antibakteri dari tumbuhan A. paniculata dapat dieksplorasi dari jamur endofitiknya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan kajian terkait potensi jamur endofitik yang berkolonisasi dalam jaringan bunga tumbuhan A. paniculata. Secara garis besar penelitian ini terdiri dari isolasi, kultivasi, ekstraksi, uji antibakteri dan uji kandungan metabolit sekunder dari jamur endofitik pada bunga tumbuhan A. paniculata. Hasil uji aktivitas antibakteri terhadap ekstrak EtOAc jamur BS-1 yang diisolasi dari bunga tumbuhan A. paniculata menunjukkan kemampuannya dalam menginhibisi pertumbuhan semua bakteri uji pada konsentrasi 1%, 3%, dan 5%. Studi terkait senyawa yang berkontribusi dalam sifat antibakteri ini perlu dilakukan lebih lanjut. Untuk infomasi bagi kita semua bahwa penelitian terkait kajian sifat antibakteri dari jamur yang hidup pada bunga A. paniculata baru pertama kali dilakukan pada kesempatan ini.

Abstract

During the pandemic, people's activities are limited outside the home. However, this condition has an impact on their income economy. People can return to their activities to meet their needs by implementing a new normal life through health protocols. However, information and knowledge on how to maintain body immunity and the implementation of a new normal life are still limited. Therefore, it is necessary to disseminate information about the importance of body immunity during this pandemic. One of the areas affected by this pandemic is Bungus Barat Village, Bungus Teluk Kabung District. To answer the problems that arise in this area, it is necessary to carry out service activities that aim to provide information to the community, especially mothers who are the spearheads of families who are members of the association of PKK women in West Bungus Village on how to increase and maintain immunity during the pandemic. This increase in immunity includes lifestyle and diet that must be followed in the new normal life. Participants in this service activity include representatives of PKK women in West Bungus Village. The activity is in the form of implementation which is divided into two stages, namely guided activities, and independent activities. In the guided activities, interactive and practical counseling methods are used. Meanwhile, in independent activities, the target is to carry out the practice of making spice drinks and VCO in groups again. The results of the activity showed an increase in target knowledge about kitchen spices and coconut into VCO and nutritious spice drinks. The target community, namely PKK women, is also interested in consuming and producing their own VCO and spice drinks that have been made. In addition, from this activity, the community gained a good understanding of what to do during this pandemic, not only in complying with health protocols but also in regulating lifestyle and eating patterns.

Abstract

This research is to create a practical guide alternative based environment forsenior high school students and determine the validity, practicality, and effectivity level of the practical guide itself. The type of this research is Research and Development (R & D). The development model used in this research is the Plomp model which consists of three phases: preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The research instrumentis questionnaire of validity, practicality, and effectivity sheet. Practical guide alternative-based environment validated by 4 validators and tested to 17 students of class XII IPA 3 SMAN 1 Rambatan and 29 students of class XI IPA 4 SMA N 1 Kec. Guguak of the academic year 2017/2018. The moment kappa of validity was 0.79. The practicality level of the teacher's response questionnaire was 0.84. Based on the questionnaire of student response, the value of moment kappa is 0,77 in SMAN 1 Rambatanand and 0,90 in SMAN 1 Kec.Guguak with high category practicality for small group test and moment kappa value is 0,81 in SMAN 1 Rambatan and 0,84 in SMAN 1 Kec. guguak with the highest category practicality on the field test. The effectivity level of the teacher's response questionnaire was 0,89. Based on the questionnaire of student response, the value of momen kappa is 0,76. The results of the research can be concluded that the practical guide alternative based environmentfor senior high school students has a high validity category, highest practicality category, high effectivity category from students, and highest effectivity from teachers.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini digunakan katalis asam padat berbasis karbon ampas teh tersulfonasi dalam proses produksi biodiesel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis katalis asam padat, mengkarakterisasi sifat fisikokimia katalis, dan menguji aktivitas katalitik katalis dalam produksi biodiesel. Katalis disintesis melalui proses karbonisasi dengan aliran gas N2 dan tanpa aliran gas N2 pada suhu 350˚C selama 1jam. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan proses sulfonasi mengunakan H2SO4 selama 4jam. Katalis yang dihasilkan dikarakterisasi mengunakan FTIR dan penentuan jumlah situs asam katalis. Data FTIR sampel katalis dengan aliran gas N2 tersulfonasi (SCCS-N2) dan sampel karbon tanpa aliran gas  N2 tersulfonasi (SCCS-TN2) menunjukkan puncak transmittan yang kuat yang diamati pada bilangan gelombang 1190 cm-1 dan 1060cm-1 yang mengindikasi adanya vibrasi simetris dan asimetris dari gugus O=S=O. Pada penentuan jumlah situs asam katalis didapatkan jumlah situs asam pada katalis SCCS-N2 yaitu 700 µmol/g dan jumlah situs asam katalis SCCS-TN2 yaitu 600 µmol/g. Pada uji aktivitas katalitik katalis didapatkan densitas biodiesel yang dihasilkan yaitu 0,8434-0,8714 g/ml dan persen konversi tertinggi terdapat pada biodiesel dari katalis SCCS-N2 yaitu 25,4523%.

Abstract

Alkanale and alkanone are parts of the carbon compounds taught on the second semester of 3rd grade Senior High School. But the implementation was compressed in the first semester and consequently, learning process isn’t optimal. The purposes of this research are to develop a Problem Based Learning Student Worksheet and determine its validity and practicality. This research using 4-D models; define, design, and develop but disseminate stage isn’t done. Used instruments are validity and practicality questionnaire given to chemistry lecturers at FMIPA UNP, chemistry teachers and students at SMAN 2 Bukittinggi. The result was analysed by Kappa Cohen Formula. Based on the result, validity and teacher’s practicality of developed worksheet gain a very high category with each 0,83 and 0,92 point of kappa moment, and student’s practicality obtain 0,75 point of kappa moment, which is a high practicality category.

Abstract

Carboxylic Acid and Esther in second semester of 3rd grade High School was transferred to first semester due to the student’s final exam, so the learning process was uneffective. Therefore it needs a 2013’s curriculum compatible teaching materials as carboxyl acid and esther student worksheet which help students study independently. The aim of this research are to develop a PBL student worksheet and obtain its validity and practicality. The research using 4-D models: define, design, develop and disseminate, but the research was limited to develop stage. The research’s instrument are validity and practicality questionnaire given to lecturers, teachers and 3rd grade students. The results was analyzed by Kappa Cohen Formula and gets a very high category. The validity from lecturers and teachers get 0,87 point, teacher’s and student’s practicality get each 0,93 and 0,83 point.

Abstract

Reaction rate material is facts, concepts, calculations and practicum. Learning requires teaching materials to help students find their own concepts starting with contextual problems, one of which is PBL-based LKPD, because it can help students understand concepts through problems so that students are required to think more actively. The research aims at producing alternative teaching materials (helping active students in understanding the material) and determining the validity category. The type of research is R and D with a 4-D model, define, design, develop, and disseminate (not done). The study was limited to the validity test with the research instrument, namely the validity questionnaire. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The research data by five expert validators were analysed using the Cohen kappa formula. Based on the analysis, the resulting LKPD with a very high validity category is 0,83.
