Abstract

Behind a large number of enthusiasts and the increase in handicraft businesses, various kinds of consumer behavior occur when the process of purchasing a product, for example, consumer behavior in assessing or comparing the advantages of one product to another. Consumer behavior is a destination instrument where consumer behavior will be directed. Consumer behavior is a preference that is relative by characterizing one's experience in interacting with several objects. The purpose and benefits of this research are to find out consumer behavior, what are the reasons and motivations for consumers in making purchasing decisions for handicraft products from the perspective of Maqosid Syariah so that in the future they can better manage strategies in developing businesses. This study used a type of qualitative research. The research data is primary data and secondary data obtained directly by informants at the location of the object of research including woven bag craft business owners, consumers, and the community in Presidio Village, Grabag District, Magelang Regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengelolaan sumber daya air terhadap tingkat perekonomian masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dusun Butuh, Desa Majaksingi, Kecamatan Borobudur, Kabupaten Magelang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang di mana dalam pencarian data peneliti menggunakan sisten wawancara kepada narasumber serta observasi langsung pada lokasi yang menjadi objek penelitian. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu penemuan sumber mata air yang dapat difungsikan kembali sebagai pemenuh kebutuhan air bersih masyarakat Dusun Butuh. Penemuan berdamapak baik dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat yang berhubungan dengan ketersediaan air serta memberikan dampak yang cukup baik pada peningkatan penghasilan masyarakat.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires entrepreneurs to build a professional self-image that supports business sustainability. One effective strategy is digital-based personal branding. This article aims to enhance the personal branding of the director of CV. Utama Maju Bersama through the development of a digital business card using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The community engagement was conducted participatorily through several stages: asset mapping, digital card design, training implementation, and evaluation of media effectiveness. The results indicate that the partner’s director was able to utilize the digital business card to strengthen personal identity in business interactions, particularly through social media, email, and communication applications. The digital business card is considered a simple, practical, and low-cost yet high-impact promotional tool that significantly improves professional impressions and business competitiveness. The ABCD approach proved relevant as it leverages existing partner assets and develops them into a sustainable personal branding strategy. This program not only enhances digital literacy but also increases business partners’ trust in the professionalism of entrepreneurs.

Abstract

One of the obstacles in the Musyarakah Mutanaqisah contract is that two contracts must be carried out, namely cooperation (Syirkah) and rent (Ijarah). In implementing musyarakah mutanaqishah, two types of transactions are involved in one agreement. Therefore, capital goods are not only the object of transactions in musyarakah mutanaqishah but also function as objects in ijarah transactions for business development and as objects in buying and selling transactions to protect ownership of capital goods. This research aims to determine how the implementation of the musyarakah mutanaqisah contract at Bank BNU'26 Syariah Magelang is implemented. Mutanaqisah musyarakah contract is an agreement or arrangement between two or more people that is derivative and in the form of an agreement. This study uses qualitative methods with two approaches, namely interviews and observations. The results of this study confirm that BNU'26 Syariah, implementing the mutanaqisah musyarakah contract to customers, is there is cooperation between the bank and the customer in an effort based on mutual agreement. The contract can be agreed upon if the customer agrees to the requirements that Bank BNU'26 Syariah Magelang has determined.

Abstract

This study examines the role of local MSMEs in strengthening the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools through sharia-based partnerships at Pondok Pesantren Syubbanul Wathon, Magelang. The research employed a case study with a qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and documentation. Findings reveal that the partnership between the pesantren and local MSMEs is implemented through a mudharabah-based consignment system, where MSMEs act as product suppliers and the pesantren provides market access via its canteen unit. This partnership generates mutual benefits: the pesantren secures a sustainable internal source of income, while MSMEs gain access to a stable market. Furthermore, students actively participate in canteen management, acquiring entrepreneurial skills relevant to current economic demands. Thus, this collaboration not only strengthens the pesantren’s economic independence and empowers local MSMEs but also fosters social cohesion by enhancing the relationship between the pesantren and surrounding communities.

Abstract

Mudharabah contracts in Islamic finance ideally emphasize partnership, transparency, and risk sharing. However, practices in time deposits often deviate from these principles. This study reflects on customers’ understanding of mudharabah at a BMT in Magelang using a phenomenological qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with active customers and limited observation. Findings reveal that most customers perceive themselves as passive depositors expecting fixed returns, while the institution holds dominant authority in managing the funds and determining the profit-sharing ratio. This creates unequal power relations and practices resembling conventional deposits. The study concludes a paradox between sharia ideals and practice, highlighting the need for financial literacy, transparency, and customer involvement to realize true partnership.
