Abstract

Learning Arabic grammar often presents a significant challenge for students, necessitating innovative strategies to enhance comprehension. This research aims to analyze the comparative impact and simultaneous contribution of the Think-Pair-Share cooperative learning type and project-based learning on improving students' understanding of Arabic grammar. The research population comprised all students at STAI Syubbanul Wathon Magelang, with a random sample of 100 students selected. Research data were collected using questionnaires to measure the implementation of the learning methods and test results to evaluate Arabic grammar comprehension. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that both methods, Think-Pair-Share and project-based learning, significantly contributed to the enhancement of students' Arabic grammar comprehension. Simultaneously, both methods had a positive and significant impact on grammar understanding. The implications of this study include recommendations to synergistically integrate these two learning strategies into the Arabic language curriculum and teaching practices to optimize learning outcomes. The novelty of this research lies in its simultaneous and comparative analysis of the impact of both methods on Arabic grammar comprehension within the context of Islamic higher education.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires entrepreneurs to build a professional self-image that supports business sustainability. One effective strategy is digital-based personal branding. This article aims to enhance the personal branding of the director of CV. Utama Maju Bersama through the development of a digital business card using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The community engagement was conducted participatorily through several stages: asset mapping, digital card design, training implementation, and evaluation of media effectiveness. The results indicate that the partner’s director was able to utilize the digital business card to strengthen personal identity in business interactions, particularly through social media, email, and communication applications. The digital business card is considered a simple, practical, and low-cost yet high-impact promotional tool that significantly improves professional impressions and business competitiveness. The ABCD approach proved relevant as it leverages existing partner assets and develops them into a sustainable personal branding strategy. This program not only enhances digital literacy but also increases business partners’ trust in the professionalism of entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This research evaluates a Physics Pedagogy based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) integrated with the Merdeka Curriculum for Newton's Laws of Motion material in Grade X high school. The method used is Research and Development (RnD) with a 5D model, focusing up to the Develop stage. Define includes needs analysis and student competency identification, while Design involves the creation of modules and student worksheets. The Develop stage includes development, expert validation, and limited testing. The results indicate a high feasibility of the local wisdom-based module using Rabi Ro’o games integrated with the Merdeka Curriculum, as assessed by experts in terms of content, teaching, and language aspects. Positive student responses confirm that this module is suitable for high school Physics instruction.

Abstract

This qualitative field research aims to analyze the implementation of Bahtsul Masail activities related to Fiqih material at the Roudlotut Thullab Boarding School and determine its role in enhancing the santri's critical thinking skills, alongside identifying the inhibiting factors to its execution. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal that Bahtsul Masail includes specific components and stages central to the curriculum. The improvement of students' critical thinking skills is evident in their ability to comprehend and articulate problems, identify relevant sources, analyze and link answers to the debated issues, and ultimately determine the most appropriate solution. However, the implementation faces several obstacles, including the low level of santri courage and self-confidence, incomplete reference sources, sub-optimal ability and interest in reading the yellow book, and issues with timely attendance in the forum. The study concludes that Bahtsul Masail is a highly effective method for developing high-level critical thinking in religious education.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan strategi manajemen mutu staf dalam meningkatkan kinerja pelayanan masyarakat di Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) Kecamatan Tempuran melalui pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). Metode ABCD berfokus pada pemetaan dan pemanfaatan aset lokal yang dimiliki KUA, baik berupa sumber daya manusia, struktur kelembagaan, maupun hubungan sosial yang telah terbentuk dengan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap utama, yaitu Discovery (penemuan aset), Dream (perumusan visi pelayanan yang ideal), Design (perancangan strategi peningkatan mutu), dan Destiny (implementasi dan keberlanjutan program). Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan aktif staf KUA dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengelola aset yang ada mendorong peningkatan motivasi kerja, kolaborasi tim, dan inovasi pelayanan berdasarkan kebutuhan masyarakat. Dengan pendekatan ABCD, strategi manajemen mutu tidak hanya menjadi upaya internal lembaga, tetapi juga bersinergi dengan kekuatan masyarakat sekitar. Hal ini berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan mutu pelayanan, kepuasan masyarakat, dan citra kelembagaan KUA di mata masyarakat.
