Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menghambat kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an pada siswa SMKN 1 Dlanggu serta merumuskan solusi yang efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 50 siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian, sebanyak 30% siswa memiliki kemampuan membaca yang baik dengan penguasaan tajwid dan kelancaran yang cukup. Sebanyak 30% berada pada tingkat sedang, di mana mereka masih sering melakukan kesalahan dalam pelafalan huruf dan penerapan hukum tajwid. Sementara itu, 40% siswa memiliki kemampuan rendah, yaitu mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenali huruf hijaiyah dan menyusun kata dengan benar. Tantangan utama dalam pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an di SMKN 1 Dlanggu meliputi rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa, metode pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi, kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua, serta keterbatasan fasilitas pembelajaran. Upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa dilakukan melalui penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, peningkatan kompetensi guru, serta penambahan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran. Dengan berbagai upaya tersebut, diharapkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa dapat meningkat secara signifikan dan lebih efektif dalam jangka panjang This study aims to identify the factors inhibiting the ability to read the Qur'an among students of SMKN 1 Dlanggu and formulate effective solutions. The research method used is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that of the 50 students who participated in the study, 30% of the students had good reading ability with sufficient mastery of tajweed and fluency, 30% were at a moderate level where they still often made mistakes in the pronunciation of letters and the application of tajweed laws and 40% of the students had low ability, having difficulty in recognizing hijaiyah letters and composing words correctly. The main challenges in learning to read the Qur'an at SMKN 1 Dlanggu are lack of student motivation, less varied learning methods, and lack of parental involvement, and limited learning facilities. To improve students' ability to read the Qur'an is done by using more interactive learning methods, utilizing digital technology, increasing teacher competence and increasing learning facilities. With these efforts, it is expected that students' ability to read the Quran can improve significantly and more effectively in the long run.

Abstract

Waste cooking oil from household activities is one of the sources of environmental pollution when not properly managed. In Pungging Village, used cooking oil is generally discarded or sold at very low prices, resulting in minimal economic value for the community. This community service program aims to improve community knowledge and skills in utilizing used cooking oil to produce aromatherapy candles with economic value through the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The implementation method consisted of four stages: discovery, dream, design, and destiny, focusing on identifying local potentials, program planning, practical training, and production assistance. The program involved 17 participants consisting of housewives and micro-enterprise actors. The evaluation results showed an increase in participants’ understanding by approximately 30–40% based on the pre-test and post-test results. Furthermore, participants were able to independently produce aromatherapy candles with an estimated production cost of around IDR 4,000–5,000 per unit and a potential selling price ranging from IDR 8,000 to IDR 15,000 per unit. This program not only improved community skills but also generated economic added value and contributed to reducing household used cooking oil waste. However, the sustainability of the program still requires strengthening institutional support and marketing access to ensure systematic and long-term development.Permasalahan limbah minyak jelantah rumah tangga menjadi salah satu sumber pencemaran lingkungan apabila tidak dikelola secara tepat. Di Desa Pungging, minyak jelantah umumnya dibuang atau dijual dengan harga rendah sehingga belum memberikan nilai ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan minyak jelantah menjadi produk lilin aromaterapi yang bernilai ekonomis melalui pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahapan discovery, dream, design, dan destiny yang difokuskan pada identifikasi potensi lokal, perancangan program, pelatihan praktik, serta pendampingan produksi. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 17 peserta yang terdiri dari ibu rumah tangga dan pelaku UMKM. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebesar 30–40% berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Selain itu, peserta mampu memproduksi lilin aromaterapi secara mandiri dengan estimasi biaya produksi sekitar Rp4.000–Rp5.000 per unit dan potensi harga jual Rp8.000–Rp15.000 per unit. Program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat, tetapi juga memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi serta berkontribusi terhadap pengurangan limbah minyak jelantah di lingkungan rumah tangga. Meskipun demikian, keberlanjutan program masih memerlukan penguatan pada aspek kelembagaan usaha dan akses pemasaran agar dapat berkembang secara lebih sistematis dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study examines prophetic pedagogy derived from the educational practices of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a strategic framework for strengthening religious moderation and countering radicalism in contemporary Islamic education. Using a qualitative library research method, the study analyzes classical Islamic sources and recent scholarly publications from 2021–2025 to identify relevant pedagogical principles and their contemporary applications. The findings show that prophetic pedagogy is grounded in compassion (rahmah), wisdom (hikmah), justice (‘adl), exemplary conduct (uswah), and dialogical interaction. These principles are closely aligned with humanistic and constructivist educational approaches that promote inclusive learning, critical reflection, and ethical responsibility. The study further reveals that the integration of prophetic pedagogical values into Islamic Religious Education can reduce learners’ vulnerability to radical narratives by encouraging balanced religious understanding and peaceful social engagement. The significance of this research lies in its contribution to reconceptualizing prophetic pedagogy as a systematic educational framework rather than merely historical teaching practices. Practically, the results provide guidance for educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers in designing moderation-oriented learning models rooted in Islamic values. The study concludes that prophetic pedagogy remains highly relevant as a transformative strategy for promoting peace, social cohesion, and Islam as rahmatan lil ‘alamin in contemporary society
