Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki permasalahan sebagai berikut. (1) Kecakapan berkomunikasi masyarakat belum mampu dipahami oleh pendatang sehingga menyulitkan pendatang untuk mengunjungi situs-situs pariwisata yang ada di sana. (2) Masyarakat belum mahir menggunakan bahasa Inggris sehingga sulit mengaplikasikan English for tourism. (3) Prinsip kearifan lokal budaya Melayu belum direalisasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. (4) Jiwa enterpreneurship masyarakat belum terbentuk, padahal daerah mereka memiliki peluang yang bagus untuk menciptakan usaha kreatif. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian mencakup tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap evaluasi dan hasil, serta partisipasi mitra dalam pelaksanaan program pengabdian. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meningkatkan kecakapan berkomunikasi masyarakat Sagulung agar mahir berbahasa Inggris dan mengembangkan jiwa enterpreneurship masyarakat agar menjadi ibu rumah tangga yang mandiri, kreatif, dan meningkatkan taraf perekonomian. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah ibu rumah tangga sebagai peserta pengabdian sudah mendomininasi dan mengalami peningkatan kemahiran English for tourism. Peserta juga diberikan pelatihan pembuatan keset kaki berbasis kearifan lokal dan pembuatan sabun cuci piring yang bebas dari zat kimia, harga terjangkau, higienis, dan bernilai ekonomi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan ini, masyarakat Kavling Seroja memiliki usaha mandiri dengan memiliki UMKM keset kaki di perumahan mereka

Abstract

Bahasa Minang adalah bahasa sehari-sehari yang digunakan oleh orang Minang dalam berkomunikasi setiap harinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peristiwa-peristiwa tutur yang dituturkan oleh orang Minang Kabau yang hidup di Batam dengan adanya proses ini membuat bahasa Minang lebih bervariasi dan terjaga keasliannya. Batam adalah tempat perantauan orang Minang yang berasal dari berbagai wilayayah di Minang Kabau. Penelitian ini juga dapat mengidentifikasi perkembangan bahasa Minang Kabau yang ada di luar wilayah Minang. Terjadinya proses tutur ini, tidak mengurangi nilai-nilai kebahasaan yang dituturkan oleh penutur khususnya orang Minang. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teori Nida dalam Morfologi sedangkan untuk Fonologi peneliti menggunakan teori Pike dan Johan. Untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan metode simak libat cakap. Metode analisis yang peneliti gunakan adalah metode bagi unsur langsung, metode ini adalah metode yang digagas oleh Sudaryanto. Sedangkan hasil yang dicapai adalah terdapat 19 proses variasi. Kata-kata yang mengandung asimilasi seperti: /naɂ makanaŋ?/, /kan ceɂ lu/, /lah makanaŋ?/, /cy pitih lu dy/, /sikᴐ ceɂ/, /strat lah ang lu dy/, /naɂ kuncy/, dan /ñombeɂ waɂ/.

Abstract

The problem in this study is an error in the Trinbun Batam newspaper in the form of errors in the use of words and errors in the use of punctuation. The object used in this study is the news contained in newspapers from Trinbun Batam on November 5, 2021 with newspaper number 51 Year XVII. The purpose of this study is to describe the language errors that exist in the Trinbun Batam newspaper in the form of errors in the use of words and errors in the use of punctuation marks; to provide corrections for errors in the use of punctuation marks and errors in the use of words and sentences. This type of research is a qualitative research which is this research is a research conducted by describing the data obtained using a series of sentences. The method used in this study is a method in which the data sources are obtained from words on the object of research in the form of newspapers and not in the form of numbers. The technique used in collecting data is to observe the object under study. In this study, it can be concluded that the language errors in the Trinbun Batam newspaper include: errors found in the news "Masih Tersisa 9 Pasien", 3 errors in the use of punctuation marks and 1 error in the use of words; news "Bundaran Simpang Basecamp Terbentuk", 2 errors in the use of punctuation marks and 3 errors in the use of words; news "Polres Lingga Coffee Morning dengan Insan Pers 2 errors in the use of punctuation marks; and the news "Tingkatkan Hasil Tangkapan", 2 errors in the use of punctuation marks and 1 error in the use of words.

Abstract

Abstrack : Character education is education that is able to change attitudes, change mindsets and be able to follow current scientific and technological advances by getting used to the literacy culture here, it will not close the possibility of continuing to build the character of the next generation. Technological progress has become a major role, there are several things that play an important role in the progress of the times in this article. Building a digital-based reading house during a pandemic, there are several innovative and creative ideas that will be realized in order to achieve an educational vision and mission which is to educate the nation despite the circumstances. like today.

Abstract

Real Batam Information Vocational School is one of the schools that has reliable competencies. However, in the educational process, not only knowledge is prioritized, but also related skills and noble character also need to be applied. The aim of implementing this service is to produce a generation, especially students at the Batam Real Information Vocational School, who are not only smart in education, but have a leadership spirit and virtuous character. The expected characteristics include courage, honesty, respect for others and discipline. In this service, the PKM team conducted training for class X students at Real Batam Informatics Vocational School. The form of training is in the form of discussions and sharing regarding how to form a good leadership spirit. Based on the results that have been achieved, after participating in the training held by the PKM team, students are more courageous and confident in their abilities and strengths. Therefore, it is hoped that this training will allow students at these institutions to be able to understand and apply it in their daily lives so that they become young people who are not only intellectually intelligent but also mature in terms of character and leadership in society.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to help small traders increase their sales turnover. Before getting halal certification, micro businesses must go through several processes. The first process they do is create a NIB. The process of creating this NIB is created by a business assistant. Here, business actors prepare their KTP, NPWP, must have a cellphone number, and must have an email. In creating a NIB, business actors provide data such as how long they have been doing business, goods for sale, business location, and business capital. After the NIB is complete, then start registering for sihalal, the sihalal registration process also requires filling in data and preparing an KTP. To fill in this data, business actors are assisted by a business assistant, but if the business actor does not understand, the business actor can submit it to the business assistant. This filling process will involve more data, then in inputting materials there are two types, the first is certified materials and non-certified materials. Then here we also fill in the cleaning agent and packaging. After the data is filled in, we need to verify the data that has been filled in. After that, we input the product and its photos. After we finish, we make a way to make the product. After that, send it. We wait for the assistant process, after the assistant approves, then we send it again, then the assistant approves again and sends it to P3H, after P3H is completed, it is sent to the fatwa commission after being approved by the fatwa commission, the certificate is issued.

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of supply chain management at Cargo dan Courier Service Batam Company, a logistics company based in Batam, Indonesia. The research applies a descri Perusahaanive qualitative method through literature review and company case study. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of supply chain management, identify the challenges faced, and analyze the strategies implemented to improve operational efficiency. The results show that PERUSAHAAN Cargo dan Courier Service Batam has adoPerusahaaned information technology-based supply chain management systems, including ERP integration, real-time tracking, and warehouse automation. These implementations successfully reduced delivery delays by up to 40%, improved efficiency by 25%, and enhanced customer satisfaction. However, the company continues to face external challenges such as fluctuating transportation costs, customs regulations, and weather related risks that may affect distribution. In conclusion, the integrated technology-based supply chain management system is a key factor in achieving competitiveness in the logistics industry within the global market.

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe (1) types of research (2) types of quantitative research that is used to analyze critical thinking skills, (3) research subjects that is used by the researchers to examine critical thinking skills, (4) data collection instruments that is used by the researchers to determine critical thinking skills, (5) data analysis methods that is used by the researchers researchers to determine critical thinking skills, and (6) research profiles of critical thinking skills from year to year. The research used content analysis. The data obtained in this research were 26 articles written in journals incorporated in the PPJB-SIP website and database, so that the data in this research were the result of content analysis of research articles on critical thinking skills. The instrument used in this research was content analysis guidelines. The results showed that (1) the dominant type of research used by the researcher was quantitative research, (2) the experimental research design was the most dominant research design used, (3) the research subjects used were dominated by students, (4) the test instrument was the most frequently used instrument to investigate critical thinking skills, (5) the more dominant data analysis method was the t-test, and (6) the research on critical thinking skills was conducted from 2010-2021 with the highest results in year 2019. Finally, this research will be useful in providing valuable information about patterns of critical thinking skills, as well as the basis for familiarizing critical thinking skills in the information age and digital technology
