Abstract

Studi ini menganalisis implementasi metode pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dan konsep "Merdeka Belajar" di kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Abuan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 35 responden dari kalangan guru untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode pembelajaran IPA dan konsep "Merdeka Belajar" mencapai tingkat efektivitas sebesar 68,571%. Meskipun hasil ini cukup baik, terdapat kebutuhan untuk peningkatan terutama dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran daring dan keragaman sumber belajar. Studi ini juga menyoroti pentingnya pengembangan keterampilan sains melalui skema pembelajaran yang melibatkan diskusi, penelitian lapangan, dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran. Konsep "Merdeka Belajar" memberikan kebebasan bagi guru untuk berinovasi tanpa terlalu terikat pada aturan administratif yang kaku. Diharapkan implementasi konsep ini dapat memberikan ruang yang lebih terstruktur bagi guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran IPA yang kadang dianggap sulit. Studi ini menekankan perlunya pemahaman mendalam terhadap konsep "Merdeka Belajar" dan metode pembelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SD Negeri 4 Abuan sambil menyoroti perlunya peningkatan dalam aspek-aspek tertentu guna memperbaiki efektivitas pembelajaran serta pemahaman siswa terhadap mata pelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) kelas III di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 4 Abuan. Kurikulum Merdeka, sebagai respons terhadap perubahan dalam pembelajaran akibat pandemi COVID-1 9, memberikan kebebasan kepada guru dan peserta didik untuk mengembangkan potensi dan kreativitas mereka. Guru memiliki fleksibilitas dalam pemilihan metode, materi, dan penilaian, sementara peserta didik diberikan kebebasan untuk mengeksplorasi pembelajaran di luar kelas. Integrasi mata pelajaran IPA di kelas III bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pemahaman mendalam tentang alam dan dunia sekitar. Namun, implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka memerlukan kesiapan guru yang maksimal dan peran mereka sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran. Penilaian dalam kurikulum ini mencakup penilaian formatif sepanjang pembelajaran dan penilaian sumatif dengan format digital. Kurikulum Merdeka menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih dinamis, mengaktifkan peserta didik, dan mendorong kreativitas, dengan harapan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang lebih berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the effect of the application of interactive e-modules on students' literacy and numeracy skills in science subjects at SDN 4 Abuan. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with Posttest-Only Control Group Design research design. The population of this study was all students at SDN 4 Abuan. As samples in this study are class V and grade VI students. Class V was used as the experimental class and class VI as the control class. There are two types of variables in this study, namely (1) the independent variable is an interactive e-module, and (2) the dependent variable is the literacy and numeracy ability of students. Data collection was carried out using the description test method to measure students' literacy and numeracy skills. The data were analyzed by performing prerequisite tests which included normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained, the test results of normality and homogeneity of the two groups are normally distributed and homogeneous. There is a significant influence of interactive e-modules between students who learn by applying interactive e-modules and students who learn with conventional media. This shows that students' literacy and numeracy skills in science subjects with e-module media are higher than conventional learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of social media on the cognitive abilities of students in science class V SDN 4 Abuan. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive research with data collection techniques using observation and tests. The population of this study is all students of SDN 4 Abuan odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. As a sample in this study, there were 15 grade V students of SDN 4 Abuan in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there was a significant influence on the use of social media in learning. The effective time for learning by utilizing social media is as much as 25% of learning and 1 to 3 hours during the learning process both at school and at home

Abstract

 The delivery of science subject matter still uses the lecture method and learning content only comes from static reading sources such as learning modules without interaction, causing obstacles in the learning process. This study aims to produce and implement and describe the responses of teachers and students to the development of interactive content for science subjects with a blended learning strategy at SDN 4 Abuan. The method used in this study is research and development with the ADDIE development model, namely analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects of the study were grade VI students of SDN 4 Abuan. Based on the stages that have been passed, an interactive learning content product using Articulate Storyline 3 technology with a blended learning strategy was distributed through the Google Classroom LMS with the acquisition of an average coefficient of validity of content experts and media experts of 1.00 in the "Very Valid" criteria. For the effectiveness of the product get an N-Gain of 0.91 with the criteria "Effective". In addition, the average results of student and teacher response scores were 68.9 and 47 with the criteria of "Very Positive".

Abstract

Abstrak  Menumbuhkan kapabilitas guru di bidang pembuatan e-book aplikatif dan memperkuat penggunaan pojok baca di sekolah dasar merupakan sasaran dari program. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan yang mencakup tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Dimulai dengan identifikasi kebutuhan sekolah, penyusunan materi pelatihan, dan koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah. Tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan pembuatan e-book aplikatif dan penguatan pojok baca, yang meliputi sosialisasi teknologi e-book, pelatihan teknis, praktik pembuatan e-book, pengadaan buku, desain dan pengelolaan pojok baca, serta pengenalan kepada siswa.Setelah pelatihan, evaluasi dilakukan melalui angket dan wawancara untuk mengukur keberhasilan program. Hasil angket dari 8 peserta menunjukkan rata-rata skor di atas 4.0, yang mencerminkan kepuasan tinggi terhadap pelatihan. Wawancara dengan guru mengungkapkan pengalaman positif, materi implementasi yang baik, serta tantangan terkait akses teknologi. Peningkatan minat baca siswa juga dilaporkan sebagai dampak positif dari program ini.Program ini berhasil mencapai tujuan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan guru dan memperkuat penggunaan pojok baca. Namun, ada beberapa area yang perlu diperhatikan untuk perbaikan di masa depan, seperti penyediaan akses teknologi yang lebih baik dan sesi pelatihan lanjutan. Keberlanjutan program ini sangat bergantung pada dukungan pihak sekolah dan komitmen guru untuk terus berinovasi dalam metode pengajaran mereka.     Kata Kunci : pengabdian kepada masyarakat; aplikatif e-book; pojok baca; keterampilan guru, minat baca siswa.  Abstract    Cultivating the abilities of educators in the field of creating practical e-books and strengthening the use of reading corners in elementary schools are the goals of the program. The method employed is mentoring, those are planning, carrying out, and assessing. Starting by conducting  a needs assessment of the school, develops training materials, and coordinates with the school authorities. The implementation phase includes training on creating practical e-books and reinforcing reading corners, which involves socializing e-book technology, technical training, hands-on practice in e-book creation, procuring books, designing and managing reading corners, and introducing them to students.After the training, evaluation is conducted through surveys and interviews to measure the program's success. Survey results from 8 participants indicate an average score above 4.0, reflecting high satisfaction with the training. Interviews with teachers revealed positive experiences, effective material implementation, and challenges related to technology access. An increase in student reading interest was also reported as a positive outcome of this program.This program successfully achieved its goals of improving teachers' skills and enhancing the use of reading corners. However, there are several areas that need attention for future improvement, such as providing better access to technology and offering follow-up training sessions. The sustainability of this program heavily relies on support from school authorities and teachers' commitment to continuously innovate their teaching methods. Keywords: community service; practical e-book; reading corner; teacher skills; student reading interest.
