Abstract

Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) is a type of vegetable plant is used by people in various dishes because it contains minerals, protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, potassium, phosphorus, copper, magnesium, iron, carbohydrates and fiber.This research aims to see the effect of giving POC and chicken manure on the growth and production of pakcoy plants. This research was carried out using a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) which consisted of two factors, namely the concentration of chicken manure which consisted of 3 levels, namely A0 = 0 kg / plot, A1 = 1 kg / plot, A2 = 2 kg / plot, and A3 = 3 kg / plot. The second factor is the POC dose which consists of 4 levels, namely. E1=10 ml/liter water/m2, E2= 20 ml/liter water/m2 and E3=30 ml/liter water/m2. The results showed that the application of chicken manure had no significant effect on the number of leaves, wet harvest weight per plot, wet harvest weight per hectare, wet sale weight per hectare. The interaction between giving chicken manure and POC had a significant effect on the number of leaves, wet weight of harvest per plot, wet weight of harvest per hectare, wet weight of sale per hectare.

Abstract

Prostate disease is a significant health concern affecting men, particularly those over 35 years old. This community service activity aimed to increase knowledge and awareness about prostate disease among the congregation of GMI Manna Helvetia Medan through health education. The methods included educational presentations, motivational sessions, and question-and-answer discussions. The activity was attended by 45 participants aged 35-70 years. Results showed improved participant understanding of prostate disease symptoms, risk factors, and the importance of early detection. About 70% of participants committed to undergo prostate examination within the next 6 months. The educational approach through church community proved effective in delivering sensitive health information and raising awareness about the importance of regular check-ups.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of chicken manure and liquid organic fertilizer on shallots (Allium cepa L.). This study used a Randomized Group Design (RAK) with 2 factors. The first factor is chicken manure consisting of 4 levels, namely: K0 = Control (without treatment), K1 = 1.83 kg/plot (equivalent to 15 tons/Ha), K2 = 2.44 kg/plot (equivalent to 20 tons/Ha) and K3 = 3.05 kg/plot (equivalent to 25 tons/Ha). The second factor is POC consisting of 3 levels, namely: P1 = 3 ml/240ml water/plant, P2 = 6 ml/240ml water/plant and P3 = 9 ml/240ml water/plant. Data analysis used analysis of variance and Duncan test. The results showed that chicken manure had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per sample, number of tubers per plot, wet tuber weight per sample, wet tuber weight per plot, dry tuber weight per sample and dry tuber weight per plot. Increasing the dose of manure will increase the growth and production of shallot plants. Chicken manure has a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, dry bulb weight per sample and dry bulb weight per plot, but has no significant effect on the number of bulbs per sample, number of bulbs per plot, wet bulb weight per sample, wet bulb weight per plot. Chicken manure had a significant effect on the dry weight of bulbs per plot, but had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of bulbs per sample, number of bulbs per plot, wet bulb weight per sample, wet bulb weight per plot and dry bulb weight per sample.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of green fertilizer apu-apu and plant growth regulators on the growth and production of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). This study used a randomized block design (RAK) with two factors. The first factor is green fertilizer Apu-Apu with the symbol (K) consisting of 3 levels: K1 = 1 kg/plot, K2 = 1.5 kg/plot and K3 = 2 kg/plot. The second factor is plant growth regulators with the symbol (P) consisting of 4 levels: P0 = control (no treatment), P1 = 2 cc / l water, P2 = 4 cc / l water and P3 = 6 cc / l water. The results showed that green fertilizer apu-apu up to a dose of 2 kg/plot significantly increased the Height of fresh weight per plant, wet weight per plot and root weight per plot but did not affect plant height. The provision of plant growth regulators significantly increased plant height, wet weight per plant, wet weight per plot and root weight per plot. The administration of growth regulators up to a concentration of 6 cc/l of water resulted in the highest wet weight per plant and wet weight per plot. The interaction between apu-apu green manure and growth regulators did not significantly affect plant height, number of leaves, wet weight per plant, wet weight per plot and root weight per plot.

Abstract

Desa Paluh Subur berada di pesisir Belawan Kecamatan Hamparan Perak, Kabupaten Deli Serdang Sumatra Utara. Secara umum kondisi penduduk di desa ini memprihatinkan dengan mata pencaharian bercocok tanam padi dengan pengairan tadah hujan satu kali dalam setahun. Produktivitasnya masih jauh dari rata-rata produktifitas nasional. Penghasilan tambahan diperoleh dari ternak dan tanaman hortikultura. Teknologi budidaya padi sawah yang dikembangkan masyarakat selama ini masih sangat sederhana dan belum memanfaatkan potensi lahan secara maksimal. Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat bertujuan untuk menerapkan sistem pertanian terpadu untuk memaksimalkan potensi wilayah. Metode pelaksanaan adalah Participatory approach melalui penyuluhan, diskusi, praktek langsung dan pembuatan demonstrasi plot teknologi budidaya padi sawah dengan Metode SRI yang terintegrasi dengan peternakan dan memanfaatkan potensi lingkungan sekitar sehingga produksi padi dan pendapatan petani meningkat. Hasil kegiatan demonstrasi pada plot percobaan menunjukkan ada peningkatan produksi padi sebesar 47 %, mengurangi kebutuhan bibit sebesar 88 % dan mengurangi penggunaan pupuk Anorganik sebesar 35 % sebagai akibat pemanfaatan Jerami padi sebagai pupuk organik Bokashi. Hasil kegiatan penyuluhan menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan pengetahuan petani dalam hal pemanfaatan jerami padi sebagai bahan organik penambah unsur hara tanaman, pemanfaatan tumbuhan sekitar sebagai bahan untuk pestisida nabati, pengenalan kebutuhan unsur hara tanaman berdasarkan warna daun dan efisiensi penggunaan air dan bibit melalui polatanam padi dengan Metode SRI.  Hasil Integrasi usaha dengan peternakan kambing belum menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan sampai kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini berakhir

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of potassium fertilizer and eco enzyme on the growth and production of Shallots (Allium et al.). The study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two factors studied. The first factor was KCL fertilizer (K) with four levels, namely: K0 = No Application, K1 = 10 grams/plot (equivalent to 100 kg/ha), K2 = 15 grams/plot (equivalent to 150 kg/ha), K3 = 20 grams/plot (equivalent to 200 kg/ha), The second factor Eco Enzyme (P) 3 levels, namely: P1 = 7 ml/liter of water, P2 = 10 ml/liter of waterP3 = 13 ml/liter of water. The results showed that potassium treatment significantly affected plant height 5 MST but had no significant impact at the ages of 2, 3, and 4 MST and the number of bulbs per sample. Eco-enzyme treatment had no significant effect on plant height or number of bulbs per sample. The interaction between potassium fertilizer and eco-enzyme had no significant effect on plant height and number of tubers per sample.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying chicken manure and liquid organic fertilizer.SNN(super natural nutrition) on the growth and production of corn plants (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). This study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two factors. The first factor is Liquid Organic FertilizerSNNconsists of 3 (three) levels: S0 = Control, S1 = 3 ml/l of water per plot, and S2 = 5 ml/l of water per plot. The second factor is chicken manure consisting of 4 (four) levels: A1 = 1 kg/plot (7 tons/ha), A2 = 1.5 kg/plot (10 tons/ha), A3 = 2 kg/plot (13 tons/ha) and A4 = 2.5 kg/plot (16.5 tons/ha). The study's results showed that the treatment of liquid organic fertilizers 5 ml/l of water per plot significantly affected plant height, stem diameter, and weight of cob with husk per plant. Chicken manure 2.5 kg/plot had no significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, or weight of cobs with husks per plant. Interaction between liquid organic fertilizer and chicken manure sometimes had no significant effect on all observed parameters.
