Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of giving different concentrations of rabbit urine and quail manure compost on the chlorophyll content of leaves and the yield of Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.). The study was conducted in the residential area of RT16/RW.05, Rejowinang Village, Kota Gede Subdistrict, Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research was conducted from December 2022 to March 2023. The study employed a 3 × 2 factorial experiment arranged in a Complete Randomized Block Design (CRBD) with four replications. The first factor consisted of three levels of rabbit urine concentration: K0 = control (without rabbit urine concentration), K1 = 30% concentration, K2 = 60% concentration. The second factor involved two levels of quail manure compost dosage: B1 = 5 tons/ha → 1.2 kg/plot, B2 = 15 tons/ha → 3.6 kg/plot. The research results indicate that there is no interaction between the concentrations of rabbit urine and the dosage of quail manure on the chlorophyll content of leaves and the yield of Cabbage plants. The treatments of rabbit urine concentrations (K0), (K1), and (K2) did not show a significantly difference in the chlorophyll content of leaves and the yield of Cabbage plants. Similarly, the dosages of quail manure compost (B1) and (B2) did not show any significantly difference in the chlorophyll content of leaves and the yield of Cabbage plants. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kosentrasi asap cair sekam padi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil lobak putih pada tanah podzolik merah kuning dan tanah grumosol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di greenhouse UPTD Balai Benih Pertanian Bantul dijalan Mindi, Dusun Ngentak, Desa Sumberagung, Kecamatan Jetis, Kabupaten Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta mulai pada bulan Oktober - Desember 2022. Penelitian dilakukan dengan percobaan faktorial 2 x 3, yang disusun dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah jenis tanah, T1 = tanah grumosol, T2 = tanah podzolik merah kuning. Faktor kedua adalah kosentrasi asap cair, K1 = kosentrasi 1%, K2 = kosentrasi 2%, K3 = kosentrasi 3%. Variabel pengamatan meliputi jumlah daun, panjang umbi, saat pembentukan umbi, diameter umbi, berat segar umbi, jumlah klorofil, ahoot root rasio. Analisis variabel pengamatan menggunakan sidik ragam pada taraf 5%, dilanjutkan dengan menggunkan Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf α = 5%. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa tidak ada interaksi terhadap semua variable pengamatan antar kosentrasi asap cair sekam padi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil lobak putih pada tanah podzolik merah kuning dan tanah grumosol. Perlakuan jenis tanah podzolik merah kuning menunjukkan beda nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan berat segar umbi dan jumlah klorofil.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the concentration of liquid smoke on the growth and yield of white and red radishes. Knowing the best type of soil by giving the concentration of liquid smoke for the growth and yield of red and white radishes. Knowing the type of radish that gives the best radish growth and yield. The research was carried out at the UPTD Bantul Agricultural Seed Center on Mindi Street, Ngentak Hamlet, Sumberagung Village, Kapanewon Jetis, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta starting in October 2022 - January 2023. This research was a factorial experiment consisting of 3 factors. The first factor is the type of soil, the concentration of liquid smoke, and the type of horseradish. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Mediterranean soil type treatment gave better results than the red-yellow podzolic soil. Treatment of liquid smoke concentration of 1% and 3% gave the same results. This type of white radish plant gives better growth and yield than the red radish type

Abstract

Penelitian tentang pengaruh konsentrasi urea dan pupuk organik cair terhadap pertumbuhan setek sirih merah (Piper crocatum L) telah dilaksanakan di Desa Panggungharjo Kec. Sewon Kab. Bantul Yogyakarta yang berlokasi di Dusun Krapyak Wetan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi urea dan pupuk organik cair terhadap pertumbuhan setek sirih merah. Penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan perlakuan yang terdiri atas 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi pupuk urea (N) yang digunakan untuk merendam bahan setek, terdiri dari 3 aras yaitu: Tanpa urea/control (N0), konsentrasi urea 0,06% (N1), konsentrasi urea 0,12% (N2). Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi pupuk organik cair (R) terdiri dari 3 aras yaitu: Tanpa pupuk (R1), Konsentrasi pupuk 4% (R1), dan Konsentrasi pupuk 6% (R2). Pupuk organik cair diberikan setelah setek dipindah ke polibag dan dinyatakan hidup. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada beda nyata antara perlakuan perendaman urea dan pemberian pupuk organik cair pada panjang akar. Perlakuan perendaman dalam berbagai konsentrasi urea dan pemberian pupuk cair organik menghasilkan panjang akar yang berbeda nyata. Perendaman berbagai konsentrasi urea maupun pemberian pupuk organik cair dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sirih merah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk NPK dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tomat dalam polibag. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2014 sampai Maret 2015 di Ex Flori Flora, Jalan Kenari, Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan dengan eksperimen faktorial 3x3 + (1) yang disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (Completly Randomized Design) menggunakan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk NPK dengan tiga taraf yaitu: 220, 440, 660 kg ha-1 dan faktor kedua adalah konsentrat pupuk organik cair dengan tiga tingkat, yaitu: 10, 20, 30 ml l-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada interaksi antara dosis pupuk NPK dan konsentrat pupuk organik cair terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tomat dalam polibag. Konsentrasi pupuk organik cair 10, 20, 30 ml l-1 tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tomat Pupuk NPK dosis 660 kg ha-1 menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik dari dosis 220 kg ha-1. Tanaman yang diolah pupuk NPK dan pupuk organik cair menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik daripada kontrol.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dampak mulsa dan dosis pupuk terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil melon. Percobaan dilakukan di lahan gersang Ngasem Utara, Plembutan, Playen, Gunungkidul, dari bulan Desember 2014 sampai Februari 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan percobaan faktorial 3x3 yang disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah jenis mulsa yang terdiri dari 3 tingkat: tanpa mulsa, mulsa dengan perak pada plastik berwarna hitam, dan mulsa dengan jerami padi. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk: 5, 10, 15 ton ha-1. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa perak pada plastik berwarna hitam memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan dibandingkan dengan aplikasi mulsa lainnya. Aplikasi pupuk kandang 15 ton ha-1 menghasilkan pertumbuhan yang lebih baik daripada dosis 10 ton ha-1 dan dosis 5 ton ha-1. Produksi buah tidak maksimal karena infeksi jamur berbulu pada tanaman daun beberapa minggu sebelum pemanenan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui macam pupuk dan frekuensi penyiraman POC yang efisien pada budidaya tanaman tomat cherry dalam polybag, serta untuk mengetahui interaksi antara jenis pupuk dan frekuensi penyiraman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan Tegelan, Desa Majasto, Kecamatan Tawangsari, Kabupaten Sukoharjo dan berlangsung dari Januari hingga Mei 2014. Metode penelitian ini adalah percobaan faktorial 2x3 yang di susun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Faktor utama dalam dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis POC yang terdiri dari dua level yaitu : POC berdasarkan Ijin Departemen Pertanian L650/ORGANIK/DEPTAN-PPI / V / VIII/ 2010 (P1) dan berdasarkan pada penelitian Sunaryo tahun 2012 (P2). Faktor kedua adalah frekuensi penyiraman yang terdiri dari tiga level yaitu; frekuensi penyemprotan setiap dua hari (F1), frekuensi penyiraman setiap 4 hari (F2), dan frekuensi penyiraman setiap 6 hari. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada beda nyata pada pertumbuhan tanaman dan hasil dari tanaman tomat antara perlakuan macam pupuk dan frekuensi penyiraman, namun pada perlakuan memperlihatkan hasil berbeda nyata terhadap tanaman kontrol.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of dosage of organic matter and soil tilage depth on the growth and yield of jack bean in grumusol soil. This research was carried out in UPTD field of Food andDevelopment Center,  Jl. Yogyakarta-wonosari km 33, playen, gading, Gunungkidul district, special province of Yogyakarta. The area is located at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level with daily  temperature between 23-32 0C. The research was conducted from February - July 2017. This research was conducted by using 3 x 3 factorial experiment which was arranged in Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL). The treatment consists of 2 factors, the first factor was the soil tilage depth  consisted of 3 levels namely the depth of 0.15, and 30 cm. The second factor plana the application of green manure of gamal consisting of three levels, namely 10,15, and 20 ton ha-1. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. Observations included plant height, number of leaves, number of flowers, dry weight of plants, number of pods per plant, one hundred seeds weight, dry pods per plant, pod length per plant, seed yield per  plot, and seed yield  Ha-1. Results indicated thanthere was an interaction between the dosage of green manure and thesoil tilage depth on the yield of jack bean Ha-1. The best result was in the treatment combination of green gamal fertilizer with a dose of 30 tons Ha-1 with soil tilage depth of 20 cm. Abstract

This research aimed to know the influence combination of AB Mix and Organic Liquid Fertilizer (POC) made from goat manure on the growth and yield of the mustard by hydroponic. This reseach conducted by single factor experiment which arranged by Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) which consisted of 4 treatment levels. The first treatment was AB Mix without POC as control, the second treatment was AB Mix + POC (v/v = 3:1), the third treatment was AB Mix + POC (v/v = 1:1), the fourth treatment was AB Mix + POC (v/v = 1:3). The data analysis used analysis of variance (variance analysis) which continued by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) of 5% significance.  The research results showed that there was significant by difference result of the plant height, the number of leaves, the width of leaf, the fresh weight, the dry weight, and chlorophyll content. The results indicated that the treatment of AB Mix without POC as control and the treatment combination  of AB Mix + POC (v/v = 3:1) gave same results but both of the treatments gave better result that of the treatment combination of AB Mix + POC (v/v = 1:1) and the treatment combination of AB Mix + POC (v/v = 1:3). The treatment of AB Mix without POC or control showed the lower result of chlorophyll content than the combination of AB Mix + POC

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of shading and light intensity on several types of mustard plants. This research was conducted from April to May 2017 in Sumberejo Village, Semin Subdistrict, Gunungkidul Regency. This study was carried out by experimental factorial 3x3 aranged by split plot design wuth three replications , the first factor was the shading intensity: without shading, 50% shading, 75% shading and the second factor was the various of mustard plant that was consisted of green mustard, collard, and mustard spoon. The results of this study showed that there was interaction betwen shading and varians type of mustard plant on  fresh weight of plants, dry weight of the roots, and fresh weight of the plants of hectare. There was no interaction at plants height, leaf number, board leaf, fresh root weight, root dry weight, but shading with different intensity significantly affected the amount of chlorophyll, fresh weight of plant, root dry weight and weight of hectare. The 50% shading showed the best growth and result compared with 75% shading and without shading
