Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola tanam monokultur dan tumpangsari terhadap hasil jagung dan tiga varietas padi di lahan kering. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Trenggono Kidul, Gunungkidul, pada bulan Maret-Agustus 2020 dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial 3 ulangan. Perlakuan meliputi monokultur Nasa 29, monokultur Inpari 42, monokultur Inpari 43, monokultur Inpago 10, tumpang sari Nasa 29 dan Inpari 42, tumpang sari Nasa 29 dan Inpari 43, dan tumpang sari Nasa 29 dan Inpago 10. Variabel tanaman jagung meliputi: tinggi tanaman, bobot brangkasan basah, bobot brangkasan kering, bobot jagung dengan kelobot, panjang tongkol jagung, bobot jagung pipilan, bobot tongkol tanpa biji dan bobot 100 biji. Variabel pengamatan tanaman padi meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, panjang daun, lebar daun, panjang malai, jumlah gabah isi per malai, bobot 100 butir gabah, dan bobot gabah per rumpun. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) pada α= 5% digunakan dalam analisis data dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan di antara perlakuan menggunakan uji DMRT pada α= 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jagung Nasa 29 secara tumpang sari dengan ketiga varietas padi (Inpari 42, Inpari 43 dan Inpago 10) tidak berbeda nyata dengan hasil jagung Nasa 29 secara monokultur. Hasil monokultur padi (Inpari 42, Inpari 43, dan Inpago 10) dibanding dengan hasil padi secara tumpang sari dengan jagung Nasa 29 menunjukkan beda nyata, dimana hasil monokultur lebih unggul daripada tumpang sari. Paket tumpang sari yang dapat memberikan hasil jagung maupun padi yang terbaik diperoleh pada tumpang sari jagung Nasa 29-Inpari 43 dengan nisbah kesetaraan lahan (NKL) 1,24 artinya penerapan pola tanam tumpang sari masih tergolong menguntungkan karena memiliki nisbah kesetaraan lahan (NKL) lebih besar dari satu.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the composition of the growing media and the effect of providing a biofloc pond on the growth and yield of mustard plants. The research was carried out under the auspices of a plastic house on a yard in Krikilan Hamlet, Tegalterto Village, Berbah District, Sleman Regency,Special Region of Yogyakarta, at an altitude of ± 194 masl. The average rainfall is 2500 - 3000 mm per year and has a temperature between 38°C to 39°C in the shade. The study was carried out from December 2021 to January 2022. This study used an experiment with a 2 x 2 x 2 factorial completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor was the type of mustard greens consisting of 2 levels: caisim (S1) and pakcoy (S2). The second factor was the composition of the growing media which consisted of 2 levels: soil + husk charcoal (M1) and soil + husk charcoal + bokasi (M2). The third factor is watering the catfish biofloc pond water which consists of two levels I1 (without watering the biofloc pond water with NPK fertilization) and I2 (watering the biofloc catfish pond every 2 days).data used analysis of variance to determine the effect of treatment on the variables, followed by DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test). The results showed that there was no interaction between the type of mustard greens, the composition of the planting medium, and watering of the catfish biofloc pond, but there was an interaction between the type of mustard and the media on the stem diameter and dry weight of the plant, and there was an interaction between the type of mustard and the watering of the biofloc water on the plant height, width and width. leaf length, leaf length, and root length. Caisim (S1) treatment which was grown on soil + husk charcoal (M1) growing media composition and without watering the catfish biofloc pond water with NPK (I1) fertilization could increase the growth and yield of mustard plants better than other combination treatments

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the optimal of concentration and application interval of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) in the growth and yield of red beans (phaseolus vulgaris L). The research was carried out in Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) “Lestari Makmur” Located In Wates Street Km 12 Polaman, Argorejo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, Special Region Of Yogyakarta.  The research was conducted by 3 x 2 + 1 factorial experiment arranged in Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor was the concentration Of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) consists of 3 levels namely: 1%, 2%, and 3%. The second factor was interval of Liquid Organic Fertilizer application consists of 2 levels: once week watering and watering every 2 weeks.  The result of this experiment indicated that there was no interaction between concentration and interval application of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) on plant height, plant dry weight, flowers number, pods number, pod dry weight and pod length. Interval application of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) had significantly effect on pod length and plant dry weight

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the dosage of bokasi fertilizer and the type of bokasi fertilizer that appropriate to increase the yield of tomato plants. The experiment was carried out at Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian Dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) Lestari Makmur, Jl. Wates Km.12 Pollaman of Argorejo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. The research location has altitude of 149 meters above sea level, temperature 24.5 - 32.5 ℃, the rainfall 1500 - 2000 mm per year and air humidity 65 -95%. The study was conducted in June - October 2018. The study was conducted by 3 × 2 factorial experiment arranged in a completely randomized design with four replications. The first factor was the dosage of the bokasi fertilizer, which was 3, 6 and 9 ton.ha-1. The second factor is the type of bokasi fertilizer namely goat manure and cow dung. Observation variables included plant height, leaf number, flowering age, fruiting age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit diameter, fresh weight and dry weight of plants. Analysis of the date using analysis of variance followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a significant level of 5%. The results of the experiment indicated analysis showed no interaction between the dosage and the type of bokasi fetilizer to plant height, flowering age, fruiting age, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight and number of leaves. While there is an interaction between the dosage and the type of bokasi fertilizer on the number of fruits, fruit weight and diameter of the fruit. The highest yield was obtained on the type of goat manure bokasi with a dose of 9 tons. ha-1

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis arang sekam dan pupuk KNO3 terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman timun suri (Cucumis melo L) dalam polybag. Percobaan dilaksanakan di lahan pekarangan Dusun Marangan, Bokoharjo, Prambanan, Sleman, Yogyakarta pada bulan November 2019-Januari 2020. Ketinggian tempat sekitar 145 m di atas permukaan laut (dpl) dengan suhu rata-rata 28-33°C. Penelitian ini menggunakkan percobaan faktorial 2x4 dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Faktor pertama adalah dosis arang sekam yang terdiri dari dua level yaitu: dosis 500 (A1) dan 1.000 g poly-1 (A2). Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk KNO3 yang terdiri dari empat level yaitu dosis 0 (NPK) sebagai kontrol (K0), 10 (K1), 14 (K2), dan 20 g tan-1 (K3). Diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Variabel pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, jumlah bunga, diameter buah, panjang buah, jumlah buah per tanaman dan bobot buah segar per tanaman. Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam taraf 5% dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak Duncans Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf α = 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada interaksi antara dosis arang sekam dan pupuk KNO3 terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman. Komponen pertumbuhan maupun hasil menunjukkan tidak ada beda nyata pada perlakuan dosis arang sekam. Perlakuan dosis pupuk KNO3 memberikan hasil beda nyata pada tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, diameter buah, panjang buah, dan bobot buah segar per tanaman. Dosis pupuk KNO3 20 g tan-1 menunjukkan hasil terbaik pada variabel pertumbuhan. Dosis pupuk KNO3 10 (K1) dan 14 g tan-1 menunjukkan hasil tertinggi pada variabel hasil.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian rhizobium dan jenis pupuk terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil koro pedang (Carnavalia ensiformis L.) pada tanah marginal grumusol dan pasir pantai. Peneltian dilaksanakan di lahan tegalan di Karangsari, Gang Kanthil, Kec. Kotagede, Kelurahan Rejowinangu, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dari bulan Januari-Mei 2020. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan percobaan faktorial 3 x 2 x 2, disusun dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL), dengan 3 ulangan pada intensitas cahaya yang berbeda, , sehingga terdapat 12 x 3 = 36 unit percobaan dan setiap unit percobaan menggunakan 6 pot/tanaman. Total 36 x 6 pot = 216 pot/tanaman. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan sidik ragam, kemudian dilakukan uji F pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, pemberian pupuk NPK maupun pupuk kandang ayam tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman koro pedang. Perlakuan Rhizobium dan tanpa Rhizobium pada semua variabel pertumbuhan maupun hasil tanaman koro pedang tidak menunjukan respon atau interaksi kecuali variabel pembentukan total bintil akar dan pembentukan total bintil akar aktif. Pada pemberian pupuk NPK, P. kandang ayam dan Rhisobium terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil koro pedang pada tanah grumusol maupun tanah pasir tidak menunjukan interaksi kecuali pada variabel pembentukan total bintil akar dan pembentukan total bintil akar aktif.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of pruning and land use under shelter using a planting system on the response of cocoa yields (Theobroma cacao L.) and the vegetative growth component of jack bean (Canavalia ensiformis L.) carried out from Juny 1 to August 31, 2021 in Plosokerep, Patuk, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta Special Region. The study experiment arranged a Split Plot Design, the main plot of the planting system (monoculture and intercropping) and the pruning plot children, namely without pruning, 30% pruning, and 60% pruning. The results showed that there was no interaction between the planting system and pruning the vegetative growth variables of cocoa plants, but the treatment of the planting system, namely, monocultures produced a lower dry seed weight than intercropping on the cocoa yield variable and pruning had no effect on the variable components of jack bean growth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving rabbit and goat urine on the growth and yield of cucumbers in polybags. This research was carried out in the yard of the Rejowinangunan sub-district, Kota Gede sub-district, Yogyakarta city. The research was conducted from June to August 2022. This study used a Ducan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT), with the first factor being the type of urine, namely: rabbit urine (T1) and goat urine (T2), and the second factor, namely urine dose: control without giving urine, D1 55x5 ml/plant and D2 66x5 ml/plant. Variables observed included plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight, and number of fruit. Data analysis used ducan's multiple range test (DMRT). The results of the study stated: 1. At a dose of 66 x 5 ml/plant treatment, goat urine produced long fruit weight, which was higher than rabbit urine. Meanwhile, at a dose of 55 x 5 ml/plant, rabbit urine produced the same fruit length, fruit weight, and fruit diameter as goat urine. 2. Treatment of doses and types of urine did not make a significant difference in the number of leaves, number of branches, and plant height. Meanwhile, the amount of goat urine produced more fruit than rabbit urine. 3. The types of treatments resulted in the number of leaves, number of branches, plant height, number of fruits, fruit diameter and fruit weight which were not significantly different from the control. Meanwhile, in the length of the fruit, the type of treatment produced a longer fruit length than the control

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of giving quail manure bokashi fertilizer doses and rabbit urine liquid fertilizer on the yield of cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.). This research was conducted from December 2022 to March 2023 in the yard which is located in Rejowinangun Village, Kotagede District, Special Region of Yogyakarta, with an altitude of 98 m above sea level, has a temperature of 27OC to 33OC. This study used a 3 x 2 factorial experiment, which was arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design(RBCD) with 4 replications. The first factor was the dose of quail manure bokashi fertilizer which consisted of three levels: the dose of quail manure bokashi fertilizer was 5 tons/ha (B1), the dose of quail manure bokashi fertilizer was 10 tons/ha (B2), and the dose of quail manure bokashi fertilizer was 15 tons/ha. ha (B3). The second factor was rabbit urine liquid fertilizer (K0) which consisted of two levels: without the aplication of rabbit urine liquid fertilizer of 600 ml/ 1 liter of water per plot (K1). Data were analyzed using variance to determine the effect of treatment on variables then followed by DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test). Parameters observed were leaf number, leaf length, leaf width, leaf chlorophyll content, stem diameter, flower diameter, flower length, and flower fresh weight. The results showed that three was no interaction between the dose of rabbit urine liquid fertilizer on the yield (fresh weight of flower). And adminstration between doses of quail manure bokashi fertilizer and aplication of rabbit urine liquid fertilizer did not significantly affect on the yield (fresh weight of flowers).
