Abstract

This study aims to determine whether students have difficulty in learning mathematics in story problems with the volume of cubes and blocks for class V SDN Poris Pelawad 6 Tangerang City, the research method used is qualitative and the sample is taken randomly, using a sample of 7 students and using descriptive qualitative methods and data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation and tests, the most errors were errors in process skills as much as 52.94% while the least errors in understanding the questions were 15.69%.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan penanaman nilai-nilai karakter kepada warga sekolah, artinya seluruh warga sekolah berperan dalam kegiatan pendidikan karakter, termasuk kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan pendidikan karakter dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler PMR, yaitu perkembangan nilai karakter peduli sosial, toleransi dan tanggung jawab siswa di SDIT Tiara Aksara. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research), pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data ini dilakukan dengan mengadakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi. Data dianalisis melalui langkah-langkah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler PMR di SDIT Tiara Aksara dapat mengembangkan karakter peduli sosial, toleransi dan tanggung jawab siswa melalui kegiatan latihan rutin yaitu pemberian 7 materi pokok dan praktek yang sesuai dengan kurikulum PMR yang berlaku. Masalah yang dihadapi pada pelaksanaan kegiatan PMR yaitu, program atau kegiatan-kegiatan lainnya di PMR belum sepenuhnya terlaksana. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengembangkan pendidikan karakter yaitu dengan kegiatan latihan rutin, para anggota PMR mendapatkan ilmu yang tidak mereka dapatkan di bangku kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah siswa telah menunjukan sikap nasionalisme melalui pembelajaran PKn. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Cipondoh 2 Kota Tangerang. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif, sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar angket untuk mengukur sikap nasionalisme siswa kelas V SDN Cipondoh 2 Kota Tangerang. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan 30 tanggapan angket siswa kelas V menunjukkan bahwa sikap nasionalisme siswa cukup baik, meskipun ada beberapa siswa yang kurang menunjukan sikap nasionalisme. Beberapa siswa telah menunjukan sikap nasionalisme seperti mengikuti upacara bendera, menaati peraturan yang ada serta melaksanakan hak dan kewajiban sebagai siswa. Dalam penanaman sikap nasionalisme tidak lepas kaitannya dengan peran guru, dapat dilihat bahwa guru telah menumbuhkan sikap nasionalisme dengan melakukan pembiasaan seperti berpakaian rapih agar menjadi contoh bagi siswa dalam disiplin berpakaian. Penanaman sikap nasionalisme di SDN Cipondoh 2 Kota Tangerang telah dilakukan sejak kelas rendah, hal ini sudah dipastikan bahwa dengan adanya penanaman sikap nasionalisme sedari dini sangatlah penting karena dapat menciptakan rasa cinta tanah air.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara disiplin belajar dengan hasil belajar PKn di kelas IV SDN Kutajaya I. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode korelasi survey. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas IV dengan sampel 34 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket disiplin dan dokumentasi hasil belajar PKn. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh r hitung 0,749 lebih besar dari r tabel 0,339 sehingga 0,749 > 0,339. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, sehingga ada hubungan yang signifikan antara disiplin belajar dengan hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas IV SDN Kutajaya I dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,749 termasuk kategori kuat. Kemudian faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu faktor internal misalnya faktor kesehatan dan faktor psikologi. Lalu faktor eksternal meliputi faktor keluarga, faktor sekolah, serta faktor masyarakat.

Abstract

In carrying out learning activities in the classroom, of course, there must be problems and obstacles experienced by teachers in learning activities, such as interest in learning. Teachers must understand that all students do not show the same interest in learning. For this reason, the teacher should indeed try to make his students while studying have an interest or interest in the material being taught. So the need for effective classroom management, to foster student learning interest. This study seeks to determine to what extent the teacher's ability in classroom management contributes to fostering student interest in the learning process. The subjects of this study were 1 class IV teacher and 26 class IV students. The method used is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The data analysis technique was carried out by qualitatively descriptive. The study's findings indicate that the teacher's abilities in class management are already effective in encouraging student learning interest, which is nevertheless low due to poor student learning motivation.

Abstract

The relationship between students' self-confidence and the English speaking skills of grade IV students at SDN Cipondoh 8. This study aims to determine the relationship between students' self-confidence and the English speaking skills of grade IV students at SDN Cipondoh 8. This research is a quantitative study using a survey method. The population in this study were the fourth grade students at SDN Cipondoh 8 in 2 classes with a total of 52 students. The sample in this study were 20 students using the Random Sampling Technique. Data collection was carried out using an instrument in the form of a self-confidence questionnaire with a Likert scale model and an English speaking skill test. Data analysis in this study used simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between students' self-confidence and the English speaking skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Cipondoh 8, with an r count or Pearson correlation of 0.530 with a significance value of 0.016, which means that if students' self-confidence is higher, the the better the English speaking skills of grade IV students at SDN Cipondoh 8, and vice versa. This is also evidenced by the coefficient of determination obtained which is equal to 28.1% and the remaining 71.9% is influenced by other factors, such as interest, motivation, etc.

Abstract

Sitti Aisyah Farawansya 1986206230 “Implementation of Discipline Character Education in Grade IV Ppkn Learning SDN Pasar Baru 1 Tangerang City”. This study aims to describe: (1) Implementation of disciplinary character education in fourth grade Civics learning at SDN Pasar Baru 1 Tangerang City. (2) Supporting factors and inhibiting factors of disciplinary character education in fourth grade Civics learning at SDN Pasar Baru 1 Tangerang City. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation studies. Data analysis in this study used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: indicators of obedience to school rules with a percentage value of 62.8% with a sufficient category, obedience to learning activities at school with a percentage value of 67% with a sufficient category, obedience in doing lesson assignments, with a percentage value of 65% with a sufficient category and obedience to learning activities at home with a percentage value of 40.4% with a less category. So the implementation of disciplinary character education in grade IV Civics learning at SDN Pasar Baru 1 Tangerang City is in a good category by having a percentage value of 71.4%. Supporting factors and inhibiting factors, namely from the family environment and instincts (instincts), teachers expect great participation from parents in instilling disciplinary character values, because the role of parents is very important, because the family functions to educate, nurture, and develop students' abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mind mapping learning on creative thinking skills in social studies maps of grade V students between students who use the mind mapping learning method and students who use conventional learning at SDN Bunder 4, Tangerang Regency. This study uses a Quasi Experimental research method, a type of pseudo-experimental research method using a Pretest – Posttest Control Group Design. Engaging class Involving an experimental class and a control class. In this study, students in the experimental class were taught using the mind mapping learning method with the teaching module of the independent curriculum of social studies subject matter, namely the appearance of nature. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence on the creative thinking skills of grade V students who used the mind mapping learning method. The average score of the experimental class postes is 81,49 while the control class is 45,77. The colmigrov normality test and homogeneity test showed that the 2-tailed sig of 0.000 was smaller than α=0.005, indicating that there was a significant influence of the mind mapping learning method on the creative thinking skills of grade V students on the social studies maple.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research to examine and analyze the data objectively according to the data found in the field. Then the data collected from the research results are described in the form of words. Informants in this study were grade II teachers and grade II students at SD Negeri Poris Pelawad 2 Tangerang City. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation studies. The results of this study aim to find out what factors are the origin of reading difficulties in grade II students at SD Negeri Poris Pelawad 2 Tangerang City. Based on the results of research that has been done by researchers that there are problems that become factors of early reading difficulties, namely the omission of words or letters, pronunciation of words with the help of the teacher, not paying attention to punctuation, hesitation, stuttering, retreats, and self-correction. Therefore, researchers can draw conclusions from the results of research that has been studied that there are still students who are not fluent in reading the beginning, this is caused by lack of motivation to learn, unavailability of family environmental factors, and unavailability of reading materials.
