Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and explain The attitude of society towards the customary of Tunggu Tubang in Pulau Panggung village sub district of Semende Darat Laut and Regency of Muara Enim. Method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method and having a sample of 48 head families. Basic techniques of data collection using the now and to analyze data that has been collected is used the formula percentages. Based on the results of data analysis it was known that the attitude of society towards the customary of Tunggu Tubang can be neutral categorized. For the attitude of society towards liability of Tunggu Tubang has supportive category, for the attitude of society towards Function/basics of Tunggu Tubang has supportive category, and for the attitude of society towards prohibitions of Tunggu Tubang has neutral category.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan sikap masyarakat terhadap adat Tunggu Tubang di Desa Pulau Panggung Kecamatan Semende Darat Laut Kabupaten Muara Enim. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan sampel 48 kepala keluarga (KK). Teknik pokok pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan untuk menganalisis data yang telah terkumpul digunakan rumus persentase. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa sikap masyarakat terhadap adat Tunggu Tubang dapat dikategorikan netral. untuk sikap masyarakat terhadap kewajiban Tunggu Tubang memiliki kategori mendukung, untuk sikap masyarakat terhadap Fungsi/dasar Tunggu Tubang memiliki kategori mendukung, dan untuk sikap masyarakat terhadap larangan-laragan Tunggu Tubang memiliki kategori netral.Kata kunci: adat, masyarakat, sikap, tunggu tubang

Abstract

This research was intended to explain the influence of civic education teacher’s affection towards student’s character and student’s learning result at SMA Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung. In this research, the researcher used descriptive quantitative method. The sample of this research was taken as 10% from 479 the number of students at SMA Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung 2011/2012 and the researcher got 48 students as the sample of this research. The data collecting technique in this research were questionnaires, attitude scales and test. Based on the calculation of data analysis, the result showed that there was positive influence and there was significant between civic education teacher’s affection towards student’s character, the higher of civic education teacher’s affection so the higher of student’s character, e.g. instill a sense of mutual help and respect to the students, as well as the lifestyle of a good teacher could increase the student’s character in their daily lives. And also there was positive influence and there was significant between civic education teacher’s affection towards students’ learning result, the higher influence of civic education teacher’s affection, the higher of student’s learning result, e.g. the affection of the teacher could increase students’ enthusiasm in understanding the question and the task of the material with confidence and the students were active in discussion in whole of class.Keywords: affection, civic education, student’s character, learning result.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Determine the role of scouting activities in improving the independence of students in Senior High School 1 Sumberejo, (2) Knowing the role of scouting activities in improving the independence of students in SMA Negeri 1 Sumberejo. Method used descriptive quantitative. Sample was 30 persons. Data analyses used Chi Quadrate. Research result showed that: (1) The role of scouting activities to improve students'self in Senior High School 1 Sumberejo on the calculation results of the study revealed that there is a positive and powerful category of closeness between the role of scouting activities to increase student independence. (2) The role of scouting activities to improve student responsibility performed in Senior High School 1 Sumberejo on the calculation results of the study revealed that there is a positive and powerful category of closeness between the role of scouting activities to enhance the student's responsibility. This shows that the scouting activity has a strong role in increasing independence and responsibility in class XI student of Senior High School 1 Sumberejo school year 2012/2013. Keywords: Scouts, Independence, Responsibility, Extracurricular, Builder

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and explain understanding how history influences the attitude of the nation's struggle against nationalism on the Civics material. Data collection by using questionnaires and tests, the data were analyzed by using a percentage formula. C =0.54 and C max = 0.81 based on these calculations, the contingency coefficient C = 0.54, in the category of medium or quite influential. So the results of these tests show  that there is an influence on understanding of the nation's historical struggle with the attitude of class X students of nationalism in SMA PGRI Pekalongan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan bagaimanakah pengaruh pemahaman sejarah perjuangan bangsa terhadap sikap nasionalisme pada materi PKn. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik angket dan tes, data dianilasis dengan menggunakan rumus presentase. C = 0,54 dan Cmaks = 0,81berdasarkan perhitungan maka koefisien kontingensi C= 0,54, berada pada kategori sedang atau cukup berpengaruh. Sehingga dari hasil pengujian tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat adanya pengaruh pemahaman sejarah perjuangan bangsa dengan sikap nasionalisme siswa kelas X di SMA PGRI Pekalongan.Kata kunci : materi pkn, pemahaman sejarah, sikap nasionalisme

Abstract

The problem in this study is that students do not show a responsible attitude towards the learning activities they participate in, this is due to the absence of LKPD development to increase students' responsible attitude. The purpose of this research is to produce valid, practical, and effective project-based learning worksheets to improve students' responsible attitudes. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling, namely 28 students in class IVA at SD Negeri 3 Gedung (as an experimental class), and 30 students in class IVA at SD Negeri 3 Bumirestu (as a control class). Data collection techniques using test techniques, questionnaires and documentation. Test the hypothesis in this study using the independent t test technique.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah instrumen penilaian sikap sosial belum dikembangkan oleh pendidik, pendidik hanya menggunakan produk instrumen penilaian sikap sosial dari pemerintahan pada buku guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menghasilkan produk instrumen penilaian sikap sosial yang berkarakter pada pembelajaran tematik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, dan (2) menganalisis efektifitas produk instrumen penilaian sikap sosial pada pembelajaran tematik kelas IV SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu R&D. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah pendidik, peserta didik, ahli materi, ahli evaluasi, dan ahli bahasa. Objek penelitian ini adalah instrumen penilaian sikap sosial. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk instrumen penilaian sikap sosial yang efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran tematik dengan nilai rata-rata 85,21 %, sangat tinggi. Simpulan pada penelitian ini adalah produk praktis dan efektif digunakan oleh pendidik dan peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization and the development of information technology, literacy skills have become critical skills that every student must master to face the challenges of the times. Literacy skills are related to reading, writing, and thinking activities that focus on increasing the ability to critically, creatively, and innovatively understand information. By reading, students will apply speaking and writing skills. Based on the results of interviews at one school, teachers have not made maximum use of interesting learning media. Therefore, it is necessary to create exciting learning media for reading skills. One of them is picture storybook media. Picture storybook media are suitable learning media to develop because engaging learning media can be used as teaching aids to illustrate material explained in related subject books. This research aims to produce picture storybooks based on the CRT approach to improve students’ reading literacy in lower grades. This research method uses the ADDIE model. Data collection uses scales, interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis t-tests. In validating media, material, language, learning, and evaluation, the v-aiken results were 0.88, 0.85, 0.88, 88.3, ​​and 65, respectively, with decent classification. Then the t-test obtained a significance result 0.000, which means 0.000 < 0.05. In short, developing picture storybooks based on the CRT approach has increased students’ reading literacy in lower grades.

Abstract

This research problem begins with the results of a needs analysis of students. The research aims to produce a product in the form of a science pocket book based on Inquiry Social Complexity that is valid, practical and effective in order to improve students’ critical thinking skills. The type of research used Research and Development (R&D), following the ADDIE model with five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The population of this studied consists of fifth-grade students from SD Rayon II, Sidomulyo District. The sample was determined used Cluster Random Sampling, aligned with the research objectives. Data collection tools included valid and reliable test instruments. The validation results of the Inquiry-Based Social Complexity Science pocketbook, developed by the researchers, theoretically confirmed its feasibility, with an Aiken’s V analysis yielding an average of 0.87, falling into the “Very Valid” category. Science pocket book product based on Inquiry Social Complexity which was developed to be practical in its application in the classroom. The results of the practicality assessment on educators’ responses had a holistic average score of 88.04 with a very practical interpretation and student responses had a holistic average score of 87.77 with a very practical interpretation. The data analysis technique employed an independent t-test. The calculation result was 0.009, which was less than 0.05. It is indicating a significant difference between the pre-test and post-use of the product in the class groups. This shows that the pocket book used is effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to develop an ethnomathematics-based electronic student worksheet (e-LKPD) on flat shapes material that is valid, practical, and effective in improving the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The integration of cultural elements into mathematics education is intended to make learning more meaningful and contextually relevant. Method: The research employed the Plomp development model, consisting of three phases: (1) preliminary investigation to identify learning needs and cultural relevance, (2) design and development of the e-LKPD incorporating ethnomathematical elements from the Lampung tapis cloth, and (3) evaluation of validity by experts, practicality by students, and effectiveness through pretest-posttest comparisons. Findings: The results of the study indicate that the developed ethnomathematics-based e-LKPD is highly valid, practical, and effective in supporting students' learning. Expert evaluations confirmed that the content, language, and media used in the e-LKPD met high standards of quality. Students found the material easy to use, engaging, and aligned with their learning needs. Moreover, the implementation of the e-LKPD led to a noticeable improvement in students’ critical thinking skills, as reflected in their increased ability to comprehend, analyze, and reflect on mathematical concepts presented through cultural contexts. Significance: This study contributes to the advancement of culturally responsive digital pedagogy in mathematics education. The ethnomathematics-based e-LKPD not only improves critical thinking but also fosters cultural appreciation and engagement. It serves as a replicable model for integrating local culture into digital learning tools and supports educational innovation aligned with 21st-century competencies.
