Abstract

Much research has been done on the Covid-19 pandemic, both in terms of health, economy, and education. This study aims to examine the leadership style and policies of Nadiem Makarim in finding solutions to the pandemic that occurred in the field of education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The conclusion from this literature study is that the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the order of human life throughout the world, including Indonesia. Education is one sector that has an impact on this condition. The Minister of Education, Nadiem Makarim, with his young, energetic, innovative, and creative leadership style has changed the face of Indonesian education. From the results of the research conducted, there are several recommendations, namely: First, the government is expected to review the education system that has not been evenly distributed throughout Indonesia, how facilities and human resources are still far behind in the regions. Second, the public is expected to be more sensitive and concerned in technological developments so that technology can be used positively and beneficially and teaching staff are expected to learn technology and information so that they are not left behind on issues of knowledge development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena rendahnya minat belajar kelas online pada masa pandemi covid 19 siswa kelas x mata pelajaran bahasa arab di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bungo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peningkatan minat belajar siswa dengan menggunakan strategi Learning Start With A Question (LSQ). Penelian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif action research melalui model Kemmis and Taggart dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pertama, tingkat minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa arab dengan pendekatan LSQ di siklus I meningkat dari 47,17%. menjadi 62,13%. Hal ini berarti bahwa penggunaan strategi LSQ mampu menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi rendahnya minat belajar siswa, sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai variabel tindakan untuk siklus II. Kedua, tingkat minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa arab dengan strategi LSQ di siklus II meningkat menjadi 79,25%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan strategi LSQ dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa di kelas x pada mata pelajaran bahasa arab Tema “Hiwayah” di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bungo

Abstract

This research will focus on studying the history of East Asia, how Japan became a colonial state since the 19th century. The intent and purpose of this research is to find out how the history of Japan's journey to becoming a colonialist country since the 19th century and becoming a very influential country. The method used by the author in this study is the historical research method which is divided into four stages, namely heuristics (collecting reference sources either books, journals, or articles from various sources related to the research theme) source criticism, interpretation (reinterpreting facts found), and historiography (writing the results obtained from this study). This is motivated by the emergence of imperialism which made several other countries form a colonial state. One of the countries in East Asia that adheres to imperialism is Japan, which in the end Japan became one of the countries with major influence in Asia including In Indonesia.
