Abstract

As the price of copra increased in the global market, coconut cultivation in Buol received great attention in the early 20th century. During the New Order, the government paid attention again to people’s plantations, especially coconuts. Coconut cultivation was promoted in several areas, including Buol. This paper scrutinizes the cultivation process and development of copra production in Buol. The commodities were closely related because the cultivation process greatly affected the production of copra. This study used the historical method to suggest that the people of Buol were cultivating coconut because of its great benefits, including how easy it was to be processed. In addition, other findings of this study indicate that the price of copra at the plantation level was determined by interconnected factors such as the quality of copra, the marketing network, and the absence of koperasi (economic enterprise) as a market counterweight. The study also found that although they were seen as economic symbols for the Buolese, these two commodities did not contribute significantly to the welfare of Buolese, particularly the small farmers who do not have vast cultivating lands.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru sejarah di Sigi, belum adanya kesadaran tentang peran penting buku Sejarah Lokal sebagai khazanah budaya dan dokumen sejarah bangsa. Padahal, buku sejarah lokal merupakan salah satu data utama dalam menyusun dan merekonstruksi sejarah, baik sejarah sosial, sejarah keagamaan, maupun sejarah kebudayaan dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Tujuan PkM ini untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran tentang pentingnya buku sejarah pahlawan lokal (Towoalangi di Kulawi) Kabupaten Sigi dalam konten pembelajaran sejarah. Hasil PkM ini menjukkan dua hal, yakni: (1) Buku Sejarah Pahlawan Lokal (Towoalangi di Kulawi) Kabupaten Sigi merupakan salah satu buku lokal yang bisa dijadikan referensi di dalam pembelajaran sejarah lokal bagi guru kepada siswa, utamanya di SMA Negeri 12 Sigi. (2) Munculnya kesadaran akan pentingnya buku sejarah lokal sebagai produk budaya. Produk budaya dimaksudkan disini ialah dari segi isi merepresentasikan beragam ide, gagasan, pemikiran, kreativitas, tradisi, dan kearifan masa lalu yang dikarsakan nenek-moyang dalam membangun sejarah dan peradaban manusia di Sigi, Sulawesi Tengah umumnya.

Abstract

Cagar Budaya (CB) Vatunonju di Sigi merupakan aset kebudayaan dan sejarah yang menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 11 tahun 2010 perlu dilindungi dan digunakan untuk ilmu pengetahuan. Perlindungan Cagar Budaya tersebut dimulai dari inventarisasi hingga pemanfataannya untuk kepentingan ilmu pengetahuan. Pemanfatan Cagar Budaya sebelum dijadikan sebagai obyek ilmu pengetahuan, terlebih dahulu dilakukan penelitian mendalam untuk pendokumentasian berupa laporan penelitian. Pertanyaannya adalah bagaimana potensi Cagar Budaya Vatunonju yang tersebar di Sigi?, dan bagaimana strategi pemanfataan Cagar Budaya Vatunonju untuk kepentingan pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 7 Sigi?. Menjawab tersebut, tim melakukan kegiatan yang berjudul: “Sosialisasi Cagar Budaya Vatunonju Menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2010 di SMA Negeri 7 Sigi”. Tahapan sosialisasi sebagai metode pelaksanaan kegiatan antara lain: Tim mengumpulkan sumber-sumber yang sudah terdokumentasi mengenai Cagar Budaya Sigi; Tim menyiapkan bahan materi sosialisasi; dan Melakukan sosialisasi (diskusi terstruktur, menyampaikan materi 1 hari). Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 30 orang yang terdiri dari guru Sejarah dan Siswa SMA Negeri 7 Sigi.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of lecturer discipline on student learning satisfaction in the History Education Study Program, FKIP, Tadulako University. The type of research used is Quantitative research, the sampling technique is simple random sampling, the research sample amounted to 100 out of 410 student populations using data collection techniques through a questionnaire in the form of a google form. The results of the study show that based on the results of data analysis using SPSS (version 26) the results of the Spearman's correlation coefficient (ρ) = 0.514, Significance value (p-value) = 0.000, Number of respondents (n) = 100, Degrees of freedom (df) = 98, t count = 5.935, and t table (α = 0.05 two parties) = 1.984. The ρ value of 0.514 indicates that the relationship between the two variables is positive and is in the moderate category. This means that the higher the lecturer's discipline, the higher the level of student learning satisfaction. A significance value of 0.000 (less than 0.05) indicates that the relationship is statistically significant, so the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted.
