Abstract

Background: Health promotion activities in schools are a strategic step in improving student health, one of which can be done through the implementation of the School Health Program (UKS). Aims: This study aims to determine the relationship between the UKS program and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in adolescents at SMP Negeri 1 Merauke. Methods: The population of this study was all students of class X SMP Negeri 1 Merauke, totaling 105 people. The sampling technique used random sampling. The research sample was 56 respondents. This type of research is quantitative analytic research using a cross-sectional design. Data analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square test. Results: The results showed that there was no relationship between health education and students' Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) (p-value = 0.854). Similarly, there was no relationship between health services and PHBS students (p-value = 0.584), and there was a relationship between School Environment Development and PHBS students (p-value = 0.024). Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the implementation of UKS in the aspect of school environment development and PHBS students. Thus, it is recommended that SMP Negeri 1 Merauke school pay attention to other factors that may influence students' Clean and Healthy Living Behavior.

Abstract

The application of a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) is an effort to prevent individuals or communities from getting health problems. Cultivating PHBS awareness can be carried out in tertiary institutions as formal institutions that function to educate students. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the implementation of healthy and clean living in Penjaskesrek students at Musamus University. This research is an analytic survey research using a cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study were 44 respondents. The sampling technique uses nonprobability sampling with total sampling technique. The data collection method uses a questionnaire distributed online to students. Data analysis using the SPSS application program. The results showed that the results of the study obtained factors that influenced PHBS of Physical Education, Health and Recreation students at Musamus University, including attitudes (P value 0.027 and OR 0.000), the role of lecturers (P value 0.085 and OR 4.200). It was concluded in this study that the most dominant factor in PHBS for Physical Education, Health and Recreation students at Musamus University was the role of the lecturer with a Prevalence Ratio (RP) value of 0.945. It is hoped that the Musamus University campus will be able to launch a PHBS program within Musamus University and provide support to students to carry out PHBS in the campus environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan yaitu mengidentifikasi tantangan dan strategi adaptasi manajemen Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi (PJKR) Universitas Musamus Merauke pada era pasca pandemi COVID-19. Mengetahui strategi adaptasi yang dilakukan oleh pengelola prodi dalam menghadapi tantangan tersebut. Ketiga mengetahui persepsi dosen dan staf terhadap efektivitas manajemen prodi saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui analisis situs dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga tantangan utama yaitu penyesuaian kurikulum, kesiapan sumber daya organisasi dan kebijakan, serta adaptasi pembelajaran oleh dosen. Strategi yang diterapkan mencakup penguatan komunikasi internal dan koordinasi lintas sektor untuk memastikan kelancaran implementasi kurikulum serta penyesuaian pembelajaran. Persepsi dosen dan staf memandang positif bahwa strategi telah berhasil dilaksanakan sesuai dengan tujuan. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan adaptasi pasca pandemi ditentukan oleh sinergi manajemen, dosen, dan jejaring kerja sama yang dilaksanakan.
