Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian IPTEK diadakan dengan latar belakang bahwa pada dasarnya penggunaan komputer dalam proses belajar, akan melahirkan suasana yang menyenangkan bagi anak. Gambar-gambar dan suara yang muncul juga membuatanak tidak cepat bosan, sehingga dapat merangsang anak mengetahui lebih jauh lagi. Sisi baiknya, anak menjadi lebih tekun dan terpicu untuk belajar berkonsentrasi Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut telah dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam proses belajar mengajar pengenalan teknologi informasi melalui pengalaman langsung yaitu pelatihan-penerapan dan evaluasi dalam pembelajaran komputer di TK. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukan bahwa pengenalan teknologi informasi pada guru TK, dapat membantu guru dalam pembelajaran yang merangsang pertumbuhan otak, merangsang imajinsi, kreatifitas, memperbaiki pengenalan huruf alpabet dan meningkatkan kemampuan verbal anak. Berdasarkan kegiatan tersebut diatas dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran berbasis komputer sebaga pengenalan teknologi informasi pada guru TK adalah pemberian dasar teknologi informasi (komputer) agar guru-guru TK mampu mengantisipasi kemajuan pada era informasi yang mulai diimplementasikan pada dunia pendidikan. Abstract

Pengembangan sumber daya manusia dalam pendidikan anak usia dini sangat penting dan bila tidak ditanganidengan serius akan berdampak pada kualitas pendidikan yang rendah. Hal ini karena calon guru PAUDmerupakan instrumen utama untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan dan mencapai pada pembangunan nasional.Program studi pendidikan anak usia dini pada perguruan tinggi di Indonesia berjumlah 396 pada tahun 2019.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pendidikan selama dikampus baik pada matakuliah teori dan praktik untuk melahirkan guru PAUD professional, yang dilaksanakan pada perguruan tinggi.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengembangan sumber daya calon guru pendidikan anak usia diniprofessional: dikaji dari masalah dan tantangan pada program studi PAUD di perguruan tinggi. Metodepenelitian mengunakan desain penelitian survey dengan alat pengumpul data google form sebagai alat bantudalam pengumpulan data yang banyak dan luas. Hasil penelitian pada program studi pendidikan anak usia ini,masih ditemukan adanya masalah yang dihadapi selama perkuliahan belum adanya standarisasi pendidikanberkualitas yang harus diperbarui untuk memenuhi perubahan sosial yang cepat di masyarakat kita saat ini,sedangkan tantangan pendidikan harus dibuat menarik dengan menciptakan suasana yang kondusif bagi calonguru, dan perhatian yang lebih banyak dari pemerintah sangat diperlukan untuk sektor pendidikan anak usiadini melalui peningkatan professional calon guru PAUD dapat menjadi dasar bagi kemajuan semua sektordalam masyarakat. Simpulan penelitian ini program studi harus mengembangkan sumber daya calon guruPAUD Profesional, sehingga masalah dapat diselesaikan dan tantangan program studi PAUD dapat dihadapidi Era Society 5.0 untuk Revolusi Industri 4.0

Abstract

This study aims to determine the moderating effect of the Big Five personality domain of extraversion on the relationship between pedagogical competence and teacher performance. The research seeks to examine the contribution of the extraversion variable in the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The subjects of this study are kindergarten teachers with two years of work experience in Semarang. This research is quantitative in nature, employing a correlational research design. Data collection was conducted through a Google Form questionnaire. The data analysis technique utilized descriptive analysis and fulfilled classical assumption tests, including Normality Test and Hypothesis Test. The results yielded a significance value of 0.000 and a beta value of 0.754 from the correlation test between pedagogical competence and teacher performance, indicating a strong relationship between these variables. After incorporating the moderator variable of extraversion into the correlation, the interaction coefficient obtained was (-0.039), leading to the conclusion that extraversion weakens the relationship between pedagogical competence and teacher performance. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that higher levels of extraversion among teachers may weaken their pedagogical competence, consequently affecting their performance.

Abstract

One aspect of development that must be well-stimulated in early childhood is cognitive development. Cognitive development can be stimulated through children’s basic mathematical skills. These skills can be enhanced through the application of Kosurasi media. This study aims to determine the effect of applying Kosurasi media in improving basic mathematical skills in children aged 5-6 years at TK Dharma Wanita Bandung Wonosegoro. This study used a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The population and sample consisted of 30 children aged 5-6 years at TK Dharma Wanita Bandung. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, paired sample t-test hypothesis testing, and finally, N-gain score tests with the help of the SPSS V.26 data processing application. The average pretest score was 76.10, while the average posttest score was 115.33. A paired sample t-test hypothesis test yielded a significance result of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. This means there was a significant difference in the children’s basic mathematical skills before and after the intervention. Furthermore, the N-gain test produced a score of 57.76%, suggesting that the application of Kosurasi media has a moderately effective impact on improving the basic mathematical skills of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Teachers and curriculum are components that greatly influence the implementation and achievement of quality education. The role of teachers as implementers of learning in the classroom, greatly requires the role of the curriculum used as a guideline in learning, and vice versa, the curriculum requires the role of professional teachers as implementers of the curriculum in the classroom. The purpose of the community service activities that have been carried out is to strengthen the interrelationship between teachers and the curriculum, so that a strong relationship occurs as an effort towards the implementation of quality ECE. The method of community service activities uses participatory action research (PAR), with the aim of learning in overcoming problems and fulfilling needs in the community. In detail, the implementation of this community service activity is to meet the needs of ECE educators, by providing training through workshops and mentoring activities that are implemented in ECE institutions. Based on the objectives and methods used, this community service activity is to lead teachers and the curriculum in implementing quality ECE learning and development institutions. The implementation of the curriculum supported by professional teachers is capital for institutions in providing quality stimulation and learning services for early childhood. So the stronger the interrelationship between teachers and the curriculum, the easier it will be for ECE institutions to provide quality education services.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the findings of students' difficulties in understanding the concept of food chains in the IPAS subject. The fact that the current generation is a digital generation accustomed to technology also supports the importance of innovation in learning. Learning resources that might aid students in comprehending abstract ideas are necessary because many educators continue to employ traditional teaching techniques. This research attempts to examine how well digital diorama media works as an educational innovation that can improve students' comprehension of the food chain concept. This study utilized a quasi-experimental approach using a non-equivalent control group design. In this study, sixty fifth-graders from Karawang Regency's SD Puri Artha participated. Students were split up into two groups: the experimental group used digital diorama material, and the control group used traditional means. Data were obtained through concept understanding tests before and after the intervention, as well as observations and interviews. According to the study's findings, pupils who used digital dioramas to learn had a significantly higher conceptual grasp than those who used traditional methods (p<0.05). Students can more easily comprehend the relationships between organisms in the food chain with the help of digital diorama media, which can offer crisper visuals. Additionally, pupils actively participate in the learning process and exhibit interest in it. The conclusion of this study is that digital diorama media is not only effective in enhancing students' understanding of the food chain concept but also in increasing students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Child-Friendly Schools (CFS) have yet to fully achieve their intended objectives, primarily due to several contributing factors such as the lack of coordination and collaboration among stakeholders and policy implementers, as well as limitations in human resources. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of teachers’ roles on the policies and implementation of child-friendly schools in kindergartens. This research adopts a quantitative approach. The population consists of 53 kindergarten teachers, and the sampling technique used is saturated sampling (census), resulting in a total sample of 53 teachers. Data were collected through questionnaires, with the research instrument in the form of structured survey sheets. The data analysis techniques employed include both descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the study show that the role of teachers falls into the moderate category at 43.40%. Similarly, the child-friendly school policy and its implementation are also categorized as moderate, with scores of 43.40% and 54.71%, respectively. The partial test analysis (t-test) indicates a significant influence of teachers' roles on both the policies and implementation of child-friendly schools. The Unstandardized B coefficient confirms a measurable effect of teachers’ roles on child-friendly school policy and implementation. The Adjusted R-Square value for child-friendly school policy is 0.463, suggesting that 46.3% of the variance in policy is explained by the role of teachers, while the remaining 53.7% is attributed to other factors not examined in this study. Furthermore, the role of teachers accounts for 48.6% of the variance in the implementation of CFS, with 51.4% influenced by other unexamined components. The implication of this research is that the role of teachers has a significant impact on the implementation of child-friendly school practices, underscoring the need to strengthen teacher involvement and capacity in order to advance CFS initiatives effectively.

Abstract

Simultaneously with the independent curriculum, the Ministry of Education and Culture launched an independent teaching platform. The aim of the independent teaching platform is to help teachers get references, inspiration and insight for implementing the independent curriculum. It is hoped that the independent teaching platform can help teachers understand the implementation of the independent curriculum and the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile in order to foster teacher creativity and innovation in managing P5 in learning. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find out whether the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) has an influence on the Management of the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5), and how big the influence is. This research uses a quantitative approach, with the help of regression analysis. The population in this study were kindergarten teachers who used the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) with a sample of 96 teachers. Research data was taken by distributing questionnaires. Then, the research results were processed using normality tests, nonparametric tests, regression analysis, and coefficient of determination. Based on research results, the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) has an influence on the Management of the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) in Ngaliyan District. This research also produces an R Square value of 0.473 or 47.3%, so that the Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) variable influences the Project Management variable Strengthening Pancasila Student Profiles (P5) by 47.3% in the moderate category and 52.7% is influenced by factors. Therefore, efforts are needed from teachers to consistently maximize the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) so that the management of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening (P5) Project can also improve.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan dan mengembangkan minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika serta melatih keterampilan berbicara. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SD Islam di Surabaya. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dalam proses tahapannya hanya sampai tahap kevalidan. Dimana kevalidan tersebut telah dilakukan validasi terhadap tiga validator.Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini berhasil mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran Pookemon yang telah diuji kevalidannya oleh para validator dan telah dilakukan revisi dan beberapa perbaikan yang diberikan oleh para validator. Hasil validator pertama media pembelajaran tersebut mendapatkan skor 85%; validator kedua 77,5%; validator ketiga 95%. Dimana skor tersebut memiliki kriteria dalam penelitian dan pengembangan media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan,kriteria dari skor validator pertama adalah “Sangat Baik”; validator kedua “Baik”; validator ketiga “Sangat Baik”. Maka dari ketiga hasil validasi yang telah diberikan dapat di rata-rata dan disimpulkan media pookemon yang telah dikembangkan mendapatkan skor 86% dimana skor tersebut masuk dalam kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran pookemon yang telah dikembangkan dapat dikatakan telah valid dan masuk dalam kriteria “Sangat Baik”.
