Abstract

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literature. Pengumpulan data dilakukandari berbagai penelitian dan kajian jurnal yang relevan dengan judul penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitianini untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterlibatan orang tua dalam mengembangkan sikap ilmiah anakmelalui bercerita dan bermain sains. Anak usia dini sebagai individu berada pada masa terpentingsepanjang sejarah hidupnya yaitu masa keemasan dan peka terhadap segala stimulus yangditerimanya. Orang tua berperan dalam memberikan stimulus pada anak agar dapat tumbuh danberkembang sesuai dengan tahapan usianya. Salah satunya dengan pembelajaran sains, yang dapatdiberikan pada anak sedini mungkin untuk mengembangkan sikap ilmiah anak yang berguna dalamkehidupannya kelak. Orang tua dapat mengajak dan membiasakan anak bermain sains di awalidengan bercerita. Bermain sains dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitarnya,segala benda yang ada di dekat anak, juga fenomena alam yang sering dialami dan dirasakan anak.Kegiatan sains dengan melakukan eksperimen menjadikan anak dapat berpikir logis, sistematis,kritis, kreatif.

Abstract

Karakter adalah cara berpikir dan bertingkah laku yang tidak selaras dan sebagai karakteristik ciri khas berdasarkan masing-masing individu untuk hidup dan bekerja sama baik pada lingkungan keluarga, rakyat, bangsa dan negara. Untuk membangun karakter siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika perlu didukung dengan instrument penilaian yang berkualitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasikan karakteristik instrument panilaian karakter dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Katholik Yos Sudarso. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas V Sekolah Dasar Katholik Yos Sudarso Maumere. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara bersama guru kelas dan guru mata pelajaran matematika kelas V. Berdasarkan hasil yang dapatkan, pembentukan karakter pada siswa masih minim. Tidak sesuai dengan indikator yang ditentukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakter siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika masih belum berkualitas

Abstract

Dalam sebuah keluarga peran seorang ayah dalam pengasuhan merupakan kebutuhan yang dibutuhkan oleh anak. Keterlibatan peran seorang ayah di dalam mengasuh merupakan suatu bentuk partisipasi aktif dimana melibatkan semua bentuk fisik, afektif, dan kognitif. (Allen, Sarah, 2007). Adapun beberapa bentuk keterlibatan yang dapat dilakukan sosok ayah dalam di dalam pengasuhan yaitu melakukan komunikasi, memberikan pengajaran akan pengalaman yang baik, memberikan pengawasan yang terbaik, melakukan proses berpikir yang tenang dan dapat di terima, memberi tugas yang tidak memberatkan, melakukan pengasuhan seperti yang dilakukan ibu, merawat dari sebagian aktivitas anak, menunjukkan rasa minat dan ikhlas terhadap melakukan pengasuhan anak, keberadaan dan kehadiran ayah dalam dilihat secara fisik dan langsung, mengikuti perencanaan dalam pengasuhan, mengikuti aktivitas bersama, siap dibutuhkan dalam sumber daya, memberikan kasih sayang secara penuh, memberikan perlindungan tanpa batas, serta memberikan dukungan emosional. Keadaan yang sering berubah secara tiba-tiba seperti datang dan pergi, dapat menjadikan anak di tengah lingkungan masyarakat menjadi lemah akan kesiapan dalam hal yang akan di hadapi, (Hedo, 2020). Akan ada dampak tersendiri pada perkembangan anak ketika dewasa nanti, dampak tersebut tergantung pengalaman anak yang dilakukan bersama sama bersama ayah. Maka hal ini menunjukan bahwa sosok ayah memberi banyak pengaruh dalam keberlangsungan perjalanan hidup anak. anak akan menjadi lebih semangat dalam belajar dan lebih percaya diri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai sejauh mana keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan anak. Metode yang dilakukan menggunakan systematic literature review. Hasil didapatkan 9 artikel yang sesuai kriteria inklusi

Abstract

This study aims to understanding the origins of religious feelings in early childhood, specifically in children aged 5-6 years who attend Islamic-based schools. This research method is qualitative descriptive research. The number of respondents is 33 children from 3 different schools, namely two Integrated Islamic Schools (IT) and one RA (Raudatul Athfal). Data collection was carried out through image-based interviews. (worship practices and emotional expressions). The research results show that most children engage in religious activities because they believe that after worshiping, they will receive goodness. (rewards). What children like the most is praying and reading the Quran. The most commonly chosen emotional expression is being very happy and joyful while engaging in their favorite worship activities.

Abstract

This research is related to efforts to increase the interest in early literacy among preschool children. The aim of the research is to analyze the application of the Sentra Persiapan method as an effort to increase the interest in reading and writing among preschool children. The research uses a literature review approach with the aid of the PICO framework, followed by the use of a prism diagram to obtain a clear and open picture through the process of identifying the composition of the research protocol. The identification includes inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in the acquisition of ten articles that have been analyzed for their suitability. The research findings show that the learning method that increases the interest in reading and writing among preschool children. This method creates a captivating and interactive learning environment, uses appropriate teaching materials, and involves active and playful approaches. Collaboration between teachers and parents enhances positive synergy. Various activities help to increase the interest of the children. The strategy for introducing letters and numbers uses media such as songs and random cards to help children understand the basics of reading and writing. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan upaya peningkatan minat literasi baca tulis anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian yaitu menganalisis penerapan sentra persiapan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan minat baca tulis pada anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan literature review dengan bantuan framework PICO, kemudian tahap selanjutnya peneliti menggunakan diagram prisma untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang jelas dan terbuka melalui proses identifikasi penyusunan protokol penelitian. Identifikasi tersebut meliputi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dengan memperoleh hasil sepuluh artikel yang telah dianalisis kelayakannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang meningkatkan minat membaca dan menulis pada anak usia dini. Metode ini menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif, menggunakan bahan ajar yang tepat, dan melibatkan pendekatan bermain dan aktif. Kolaborasi antara guru dan orang tua meningkatkan sinergi positif. Kegiatan yang bervariasi membantu meningkatkan minat anak. Strategi pengenalan huruf dan angka menggunakan media lagu dan kartu acak membantu anak memahami dasar-dasar membaca dan menulis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the moderating effect of the Big Five personality domain of extraversion on the relationship between pedagogical competence and teacher performance. The research seeks to examine the contribution of the extraversion variable in the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The subjects of this study are kindergarten teachers with two years of work experience in Semarang. This research is quantitative in nature, employing a correlational research design. Data collection was conducted through a Google Form questionnaire. The data analysis technique utilized descriptive analysis and fulfilled classical assumption tests, including Normality Test and Hypothesis Test. The results yielded a significance value of 0.000 and a beta value of 0.754 from the correlation test between pedagogical competence and teacher performance, indicating a strong relationship between these variables. After incorporating the moderator variable of extraversion into the correlation, the interaction coefficient obtained was (-0.039), leading to the conclusion that extraversion weakens the relationship between pedagogical competence and teacher performance. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that higher levels of extraversion among teachers may weaken their pedagogical competence, consequently affecting their performance.

Abstract

Children's involvement in learning can provide concrete learning experiences for the child's growth and development process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of project-based learning model on problem solving skills in PAUD institutions in coastal areas. This study used a quantitative experimental method with the Non-equivalent Pretest - Post Test Control Group Design model. The research subjects consisted of 25 children in classes B1 and B2 of Islamic Kindergarten 01 Kauman Juwana. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using paired sample t-test.  The results of data analysis show that there is an effect of project-based learning models on children's problem solving in coastal PAUD institutions aged 5-6 years. This is indicated by the acquisition of a sig value that is smaller than the predetermined significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The results of this study show that although conventional learning methods have an effect, the effectiveness of project-based learning in improving problem solving is much higher. This suggests that a more active and engaged approach, such as project-based learning, can encourage children to think critically and creatively, which is essential in the development of problem solving skills. Project-based learning is important to consider in the development of future curriculum and learning methods, so that children can gain a more optimal learning experience

Abstract

Background: Children are vulnerable to air pollution, especially in their early life and so far there are no personal hygiene promotion strategies specifically aimed at addressing health threats or vulnerabilities in children in industrial areas. Therefore, the study aimed to determine teachers' views on air pollution and personal hygiene promotion strategies for children's health. Methods: This study used a quantitative method conducted with structured interviews. Respondents in this study were kindergarten teachers who taught in Ngaliyan District, totaling 95 teachers. The data analysis technique used was theme analysis technique. Results: Based on the interview results, teachers' views on air pollution are categorized as good. Respondents can mention sources of information about air pollution, causes of air pollution, the effect of air pollution on children's health, and diseases that arise due to air pollution. Teachers' views regarding personal hygiene promotion strategies are not good, especially in protecting children's health from air pollution. Conclusion: Teachers' views on air pollution are good but in personal hygiene promotion strategies, especially related to protecting children's health from exposure and the impact of air pollution, counseling, seminars, workshops, or similar activities are still rare. This study is expected to contribute to early childhood education, especially related to children's health.

Abstract

This study aims to identify, map, and analyze various learning strategies for gifted and talented students in primary schools based on recent scientific literature. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) conducted following the PRISMA 2020 framework. The sample comprised 28 scientific articles published between 2020 and 2024, retrieved from SCOPUS, Web of Science, ProQuest, Garuda, and SINTA databases. Data were collected using an extraction sheet containing variables such as title, author, year, country, method, sample, and findings related to learning strategies for gifted students. The data were analyzed descriptively and thematically to identify patterns, trends, implementation constraints, and implications associated with various learning strategies. The results reveal that differentiated instruction, digital technology integration, and project based constructivist approaches can optimize the development of gifted students, although their implementation in primary schools is still limited due to insufficient teacher training, technological constraints, and the absence of adequate implementation guidelines. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive synthesis that explicitly compares previous reviews and highlights the unique contribution of this work in linking instructional strategies with policy implications and teacher professional development. Furthermore, this study provides practical implications for teachers, curriculum developers, and policymakers by offering evidence based recommendations to enhance instructional practices. In conclusion, an adaptive learning approach based on the needs of gifted students requires teacher training, curriculum adjustment, and strengthened technological infrastructure to ensure effective and sustainable learning practices.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the social sensitivity that comes from the care of grandparents in early childhood, where this analysis is based on aspects of social sensitivity, namely helping, self-awareness, and cooperation. Social sensitivity is a person's action to react quickly and appropriately to objects or social situations that exist in the surrounding environment. Based on the results of direct observations, it was found that the social sensitivity of young children is still not well developed. This research uses qualitative methods with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The subjects in this study were grandmothers and grandfathers of early childhood in Sukoharjo. The results of this research show that young children have social sensitivity which is dominant in the aspect of helping. Based on the research results, the forms of grandparent care for early childhood are companionate and involved, because companionate is a form of grandparent care that is not fully involved in the individual's life because the parent still plays a role. Meanwhile, parenting is involved where grandparents are like parents of early childhood without any parenting involvement. This is because there are differences in the transition of care that occurs due to work factors and death factors.
