Abstract

In the era of Society 5.0, Generation Z is faced with new challenges in financial literacy and career management. This research aims to develop a digital ecosystem based on Blockchain technology and NFC (Near Field Communication) as a solution to enhance financial literacy and career management for Generation Z. Through specially designed training, participants will gain a better understanding of digital financial concepts and how to leverage technology for career development. The outcomes of this training are expected to have a positive impact on participants' abilities to manage their finances and plan their careers in the future.

Abstract

In the current digital era, Blockchain technology has shown great potential across various sectors, including education and career development. However, its application in electronic career systems or E-Career is still rare. This creates an urgency to conduct research on how Blockchain technology can be applied in E-Career systems to enhance efficiency, transparency, and security in the career search process for students. This study aims to implement Blockchain technology in the development of an E-Career system at Politeknik LP3I Medan, based on a mobile application. One sector that can benefit from Blockchain technology is the electronic career system or E-Career. This system aims to facilitate career searches for students in a more efficient and transparent manner. However, the challenge in implementing this system lies in ensuring that data shared between different parties is secure and immutable. The main goal is to create a system that is not only efficient but also secure and transparent. Thus, students can search for careers in a more efficient and transparent way, while companies can more easily find the right candidates. Additionally, this research also aims to identify and address the challenges in integrating Blockchain technology with mobile applications.

Abstract

Chatbot merupakan program komputer berbasis kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) yang dirancang untuk mensimulasikan percakapan dengan pengguna melalui bahasa alami secara otomatis. Dalam era transformasi digital, chatbot telah berkembang menjadi alat strategis dalam meningkatkan pengalaman pelanggan dan efisiensi operasional bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan Chatbot AI bernama StyleSavvy yang diintegrasikan dengan sistem layanan konsumen, penjualan, dan laporan keuangan, khususnya untuk produk skintone di Toko XI-XIU. StyleSavvy tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai asisten virtual yang merekomendasikan produk berdasarkan skintone pengguna, tetapi juga menyediakan informasi visual seperti gambar produk, deskripsi manfaat, serta tautan menuju video tutorial pemakaian untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepercayaan diri konsumen. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan fitur pencatatan transaksi secara otomatis, pemantauan stok produk, analisis tren penjualan, serta penyusunan laporan keuangan secara real-time yang dapat diakses oleh manajemen toko. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan prototyping dalam pengembangan sistem, serta uji coba terbatas kepada pengguna untuk menilai fungsionalitas dan kepuasan layanan. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi inovatif dalam digitalisasi operasional toko ritel, memperkuat strategi pemasaran berbasis AI, dan menyediakan data analitik yang berguna dalam pengambilan keputusan bisnis. Selain itu, kontribusi akademik dari penelitian ini mencakup pengayaan literatur mengenai pemanfaatan chatbot AI di sektor fashion dan kecantikan serta referensi dalam pengembangan kurikulum berbasis teknologi digital untuk pendidikan vokasi dan bisnis.

Abstract

Digital transformation requires Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to enhance financial transparency and accountability in order to support Indonesia’s digital economic growth. This research is motivated by the limitations of traditional MSME accounting systems, which are still dominated by manual record-keeping, vulnerable to data manipulation, and characterized by limited access to digital accounting technologies. These conditions may reduce trust from business partners and financial institutions. Blockchain-based smart contract technology offers an innovative solution by enabling transparent, automated, and immutable financial transactions. This study aims to design a smart contract–based digital accounting system suitable for implementation by MSMEs in Medan City. The research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach combined with Design Science Research (DSR). The research stages include user needs identification, system design using the Solidity programming language, prototype development on the Ethereum Testnet, and testing through MSME transaction scenarios. System evaluation was conducted through functional testing and end-user interviews, revealing significant improvements in key financial accountability indicators, along with a high system usability score (SUS = 77.12) and strong adoption intention. The proposed system is expected to deliver a real-time, automated, and tamper-resistant accounting model that strengthens MSME financial accountability and competitiveness within the digital economy ecosystem..
