Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the blood supply chain and determines potential causes of substandard supply chain performance. Unfulfilled demand for blood at UDD PMI Indragiri Hilir in 2021 reached 970 bags, or 14.1% of all orders. The method used is SCOR (supply chain operation references) and CLD (cause loop diagram). The novelty of this research is applying the SCOR model to holistically measure the blood supply chain's performance and determine the leading causes of low performance. The total value of supply chain performance is 77.78, which is a good category. The results show that Five matrices fall into the low-performance process on the Production attribute (28.24), Capacity Utilization Screening (37.50), Capacity Utilization of Blood Quarantine Storage Cabinets (39.01), Capacity Utilization of Healthy Blood (44.44), and Capacity Utilization Crossmatch (33.3). Based on CLD analysis, potential root causes of the low performance of the supply chain with the CLD model are five low-performance matrices on production attributes influenced by voluntary donors and replacement donors, the number of donors, and blood tapping.

Abstract

PT. Pipa Mas Putih is a company engaged in the oil and gas sector. In the production process at PT. Pipa Mas Putih there are still employees who do not pay attention to work procedures, do not use complete PPE, such as not using project helmets, safety shoes, masks, goggles and ear plugs. Until now there are still work accidents. Based on the results of work accident interviews that often occur at PT. Pipa Mas Putih namely, collided, splashed particles in the eye, slipped, squeezed and electrocuted. Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) is a method used to control the risk of work accidents by conducting a risk assessment, which aims to prevent work accidents that can occur. This research was conducted to identify hazard levels that can reduce the level of accidents that can occur in the production area of ​​PT. White Mas pipe. The results of research using the HAZOP method are 1 (one) hazard with very high consequences and 7 (seven) hazards that are classified as having high risk. The steps to reduce the level of risk include providing training to employees and socializing to workers so that they always work according to SOPs and use complete PPE, always carry out toolbox meetings and always prioritize OHS in carrying out work activities.

Abstract

A competitive used car business is always about how to manage marketing to meet today's and tomorrow's market needs With an inventory of over 15 cars of various brands and types, the company serves diverse consumer segments from economy to premium classes. CV. X Pekanbaru faces serious challenges in its marketing strategy, including high dependence on traditional marketing methods lack of product differentiation, ineffective customer loyalty programs, and suboptimal utilization of customer data. The aim of this research is to analyze and formulate effective marketing strategies for CV.X Pekanbaru in facing competition in the used car industry. The methods used in this study are SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis to identify the company's internal and external factors, followed by QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) to determine strategy priorities.

Abstract

At PT. Arya Wira Dinamika is a contracting company engaged in mining & construction contracts. This research is for the Retubing Furnance work 018F-102 Green Refinery Revamp TDHT PHASE-1 in the FOC-2 Pertamina RU IV Area because the work place is at a height and has limited activity space in the oil processing kitchen, the risk of hazard is fairly high. This study was conducted to analyze occupational risks using the HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, & Risk Control) method. Based on the analyzed data, it was found that there are 10 risks of work accidents in the work process of Retubing Furnance 018F-102 Green Refinery Revamp, there is 1 type of activity that is categorized as small risk, 5 types of activity with moderate risk category, and 4 types of risk with high category. From the results of the HIRARC analysis and assessment, workers are required to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with the regulations from the company and from Pertamina RU IV and the type of work carried out and must comply with the SOPs applicable to the company.

Abstract

Aktivitas Pertambangan Emas Skala Kecil (PESK) telah berlangsung lama dan telah menjadi sumber penghidupan masyarakat. Dalam aktivitas pertambangan emas masyarakat menggunakan merkuri dalam proses amalgamasi. Merkuri sangat berbahaya bagi kesehatan dan lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Logas dan Desa Logas Hilir Kecamatan Singingi, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Provinsi Riau pada bulan November - Desember 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode UNToolkit untuk menemukan penggunaan merkuri pada setiap proses amalgamasi (Hg:Au Rasio). Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) pada setiap proses amalgamasi 1 g emas membutuhkan 1,14 g ± 0,67 g merkuri; (2) pada setiap proses amalgamasi merkuri yang terlepas kealam bebas sebesar 10,59% yang akan mencemari lingkungan.

Abstract

Stasiun kerja yang pekerjaannya dilakukan secara manual perlu memperhatikan postur kerja manusia agar pekerjaan dapat optimal. Gangguan muskuloskeletal merupakan bagian dari postur kerja yang mana posisi kerja yang salah dan monoton dilakukan terus - menerus akan mengakibatkan kesakitan pada sakit bagian punggung, pergelangan tangan dan kaki dikarenakan proses membungkuk, posisi kaki menyerong, gerakan berulang-ulang dan relatif lama. Pekerja di PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, TBK mengalami gejala seperti itu pada stasiun pembibitan sehingga sering mengalami keluhan. Metode REBA adalah solusi mengatasi keluhan dengan menilai postur kerja saat bekerja dengan menghitung skor pada tabel A dan tabel B. Hasil kedua tabel tersebut akan dimasukkan ke dalam tabel C untuk menentukan kategori tindakan. Terdapat 2 pekerja kategori tinggi dan 1 pekerja kategori sedang yang harus diberikan tindakan segera. Mendesain ulang media pembibitan agar sesuai dengan postur tubuh para pekerja pembibitan dan relaksasi dapat membantu tubuh untuk beristirahat.

Abstract

Persediaan pada dasarnya adalah bagaimana pelaku usaha dapat memenuhi permintaan dari pelanggan. Hal itu diperlukan perencanaan yang baik agar stok selalu tersedia. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Besmindo Materi Sewatama pada mesin genset cummins yang sering mengalami kerusakan dan perbaikannya adalah mengganti spare part yaitu filter. Persediaan filter yang dilakukan perusahaan berdasarkan kebijakan aktual perusahaan yang menyebabkan terjadinya stockout persediaan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen dan total inventory cost yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu, untuk memecahkan permasalahan dibutuhkan metode POQ. Persediaan menggunakan metode POQ dapat menurunkan total inventory cost sebesar Rp.129.102.010 atau sekitar 50,65%. Hal ini terjadi dikarenakan metode POQ menggunakan frekuensi dan jumlah pemesanan filter seoptimal mungkin. Selain itu, metode ini juga menerapkan prinsip safety stock dan reorder point sebagai aturan dalam merencanakan persediaan dalam mengurangi stockout filter.

Abstract

Cassava chips are snacks processed from cassava that is thinly sliced and fried and chip is a snack that is familiar to the public and everyone likes it in the home industry, savory cassava chips cap elang production But in this home industry has several problems, namely how to attract new consumers to buy this savory eagle cap cassava chip product. So one of the efforts that can be done is to innovate the design on the packaging to make it more attractive. The method used in innovating this packaging design is by kansei engineering. The goal to be achieved in this study is to identify the packaging design specifications desired by consumers and provide new packaging design proposals. Some of the stages carried out in this kansei engineering method are by collecting kansei words, validity and reliability tests, factor analysis, determining design elements, conjoint analysis,. From the results of data processing, the results of the packaging design desired by respondents were made of plastic, in the form of a standing pouch, having a distinctive patterned design and a light color.

Abstract

Feed is important for the survival of livestock, limited feed can affect livestock production and reproduction. One solution to overcome limited feed is to utilize agricultural waste. The potential of Sago dregs can be used as an economical and easy to obtain material so that Sago dregs can be used to make PARUS and PASI. This service activity was carried out with the aim of providing socialization and procedures for processing sago dregs into PARUS and PASI. This activity was carried out in Bagan Melibur Village, Merbau District, Meranti Islands Regency, Riau Province. The results obtained from the socialization activities on the Optimization of Making PARUS (Ruminant Feed from Sago) and PASI (Utilization of Sago Dregs for Fish) within the framework of the Sago Waste Utilization Integration System (SIPLIS), sago dregs can be processed into animal feed at an affordable price. This initiative not only contributes to increasing community income and environmental sustainability, but also creates new job opportunities in the local area.
