Abstract

Quality human resources are becoming crucial in an era of globalization. Quality human resources are produced by quality educational institutions and led by the head of the madrasah, which consistently improves the quality of madrasas. Therefore, to improve the quality of the madrasah, it is necessary to build a culture of quality. Leadership plays an important role in shaping a solid madrasa culture of quality. Based on the above considerations, the study aims to (1) describe the leadership style of the Madrasa in developing a quality madrasa culture, (2) describe the leadership steps of the head of the madrasas in the development of a quality madrasah culture, (3) describe a cultural reality of the quality of Madrasa, (4) explain the efforts of the leader of the Madrasa in removing resistance to the quality culture development. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach using case studies and data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations of participants, and documentation. Analysis of research results shows that (1) the main madrasa style in developing a quality culture has five leadership styles: charismatic, democratic, participatory, deliberative, and aggressive. It's adapted to the situation and conditions. (2) Leadership steps in developing a culture of quality madrasa: (a) the head of the Madrasa articulates the vision and mission of impact on improving the quality culture of Madrasa. (b) The head of the Madrasa has the values of leadership that are believed to be translated into the life of the organization of the madrasas. (c) the symbol is a description of the organizational values that rained and preserved and reflect the uniqueness of the Madrasas; (d) the process of development of a quality culture passes through four stages, namely the preparation phase, the acceptance phases, the implementation phases and the commitment phases. (3) The cultural reality of the quality of MAN Lamongan is related to the values of the institution and the leadership of the head of the Madrasa in promoting relations with the staff. (4) The individual teacher's resistance exists in developing a culture of madrasa-quality. The head of the Madrasa's efforts in dealing with the resistance of the people of Madrasa used a preventive and healing approach.

Abstract

Untuk menciptakan SDM yang berkualitas tentu dengan melalui pendidikan yang baik dan berkualitas pula. Bila pendidikan tidak berkualitas, karena menerapkan pola yang salah, maka hanya akan menghasilkan SDM kelas teri yang bermental kuli dan bermartabat rendah. Pendidik merupakan ujung tombak keberhasilan pendidikan, sehingga dituntut untuk memenuhi, kualifikasi akademik dan kompetensi sebagai agen pembelajaran, sehat jasmani dan rohani. Disamping tenaga pendidik, tenaga kependidikan juga mempunyai peran yang utama dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Peran utama tenaga kependidikan adalah memberikan pelayanan teknis untuk menunjang pendidikan pada satauan pendidikan.

Abstract

Emotional Intelligence in the Success of Arabic Language: An Exploration of the Role of Emotional Intelligence in Enhancing Language Skills and Cultural Understanding. This study aims to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and the success of Arabic language learners. Emotional intelligence is a vital component in the process of language acquisition, as it enables individuals to navigate the complexities of language and cultural nuances effectively. The study focuses on the role of emotional intelligence in enhancing language skills and cultural understanding among Arabic language learners. It explores the impact of emotional intelligence on language proficiency, vocabulary acquisition, and cultural competence, and examines the strategies that learners employ to manage their emotions and overcome language barriers. The findings of this study have implications for language teaching and learning, highlighting the importance of incorporating emotional intelligence training into language education programs to improve learner outcomes and enhance cross-cultural communication.

Abstract

This article discusses the job satisfaction of teaching staff at Islamic Education Institutions, what things need to be considered in triggering job satisfaction. Different categories of job satisfaction include satisfaction with salary, promotions, supervision satisfaction, co-worker satisfaction, satisfaction with the job itself. , altruism, status, and environment. The research method used in this article is a qualitative research method with a library research approach. The library research approach itself is an approach to qualitative research methods that takes data from reading media. The results of this research are factors that can influence teacher job satisfaction, starting from psychological factors, social factors, and financial factors.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation and impact of the Continuous Professional Development (PKB) program at Brawijaya Smart School (BSS) in Malang, Indonesia. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research evaluates the program's effects on teacher competence in pedagogical, professional, social, and personal domains. Data collection methods included observations, interviews, and document analysis. Findings suggest that structured development activities significantly enhance teacher competencies. Recommendations include aligning professional development initiatives with teacher needs for continuous improvement.
