Abstract

Poverty trends in Mekarjaya Village, Cikalong Wetan Subdistrict West Bandung Regency have tended to increase since 2019. This is related to the stunting treatment carried out by the Village Government with the Mekarjaya KB Village. However, the issue of poverty and stunting in Mekarjaya Village has not yet found the right strategy. This study aims at the Village Government's Strategy in Poverty Reduction and the Development of One Village One Product in Mekarjaya Village. The research used descriptive qualitative methods with data collection through interviews and observations. The results showed that the Village Government has not been able to identify holistically the potential of the village, especially in the agriculture, livestock and MSME sectors. Mekarjaya Village has the potential of clove commodities, but there are still no efforts related to value chain development, and marketing. Similarly, cassava commodities are processed into cassava chips. Recommendations from the Research Team that these strategies are not optimal enough to improve the economy of residents to get out of poverty and stunting cases. In this scope, the research team tries to formulate a strategy that can be carried out by Mekarjaya Village in managing the village's potential, namely by intervention by the village government.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the magnitude of the influence of Regional Government strategies on the effectiveness of preserving local wisdom in Purwakarta Regency using quantitative explanatory methods, data collection techniques through literature studies and field studies, sampling techniques using simple random sampling. The research results show that the implementation of the Regional Government's strategy in preserving local wisdom based on the strategic components purposes, environment, directions, actions and learning has been programmed quite well. Respondents' responses obtained a score of 1.78 or included in the quite good category. Then the preservation of local wisdom in Purwakarta Regency based on the theory of measuring the effectiveness of effort, impact, adequacy of performance, cost effectiveness of the process shows effective results. The results of the data analysis of respondents' responses were included in the quite good category, namely 1.96. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, there is a very strong relationship (0.8634) between the implementation of the Regional Government strategy and the effectiveness of preserving local wisdom in Purwakarta Regency, so the hypothesis has been tested empirically through field research

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Human Development Worker (Kader Pembangunan Manusia or KPM) in preventing stunting in Mekarjaya Village, where an effective strategy has not yet been fully established. Although the Mekarjaya Village Government has formed KPMs, their roles are considered suboptimal due to various constraints in planning, implementation, and evaluation. The research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and document analysis. The findings indicate that the role of KPMs in Mekarjaya Village has become increasingly optimal in efforts to prevent and address stunting. This optimal role is aligned with the duties and functions stipulated in the Village Decree of Mekarjaya No. 141.3/Kep-06/I/2025 concerning Human Development Worker. Empirically, KPMs play a vital role in stunting prevention by actively engaging in socialization, convergence, data collection, and facilitation of prevention and treatment efforts, resulting in no new stunting cases reported in 2025. The effectiveness of KPM performance is supported by strong coordination and collaborative networks involving the Family Assistance Team (TPK), Posyandu cadres, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) representatives, midwives, the Health Office, the Family Planning Unit (UPTD KB), and neighborhood-level cadres (RT/RW). Furthermore, the Village Government provides intensive support, including IT facilities, updated health measurement tools, and capacity-building programs. However, despite these positive developments, challenges remain, particularly the limited number of KPM personnel currently only one person and the incomplete coverage of program socialization among school students.

Abstract

Kerja sama dianggap penting karena potensi sumber daya alam, sosial budaya, dan ekonomi desa di Pangalengan tidak selalu sama. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan Meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan terhadap pengembangan usaha komoditas pangan kepada kelompok masyarakat; Meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan terhadap kemampuan ekspor dan kerja sama desa; dan Meningkatkan motivasi masyarakat untuk memulai menjadi pelaku usaha. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif, pendekatan kelompok, pendekatan individual, metode ceramah, dan metode diskusi. Teridentifikasi komoditas unggulan yang paling potensial dikembangan untuk ekspor pada saat ini di Desa Warnasari adalah biji kopi. Namun kemampuan ekspor dinilai masih perlu persiapan lebih komprehensif, yaitu tata kelola kelembagaan, produksi, pengemasan dan pembuatan produk turunan biji kopi. Kerja sama di Desa Warnasari Kecamatan Pangalengan dalam lingkup kerja sama antar warga dengan Pemerintah Desa sudah terjalin dengan baik yang dapat dilihat dari kekompakan seragam yang dikenakan dan komunikasi yang persuasif. Namun masih memiliki kelemahan pada kerja sama desa serta dengan pihak swasta seperti pengepul kopi.
