Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji praktik Supervisi Akademik Oleh Kepala Sekolah dalam upaya Peningkatan Etos Kerja Guru di SMP IT An Nur Al Mustafa Cikarang Barat. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, dengan supervisi sebagai instrumen utama. Supervisi dilakukan untuk memastikan kualitas kinerja guru dan menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pertumbuhan profesionalisme mereka. Etos kerja guru diidentifikasi sebagai faktor kunci dalam profesionalisme pendidikan, yang memengaruhi kinerja guru dan kualitas pembelajaran siswa secara keseluruhan. Paradigma etos kerja yang dipahami dan diterapkan oleh guru dapat membantu meningkatkan motivasi dan dedikasi mereka. Dukungan dari kepala sekolah dan lembaga pendidikan penting dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan etos kerja guru. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya supervisi dan pengembangan etos kerja guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMP IT An Nur Al Mustafa Cikarang Barat.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the school principal's efforts in dealing with competition to recruit new students, the research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The role of the school principal as a leader in an existing education unit is required to carry out various innovations with various adjustments, in accordance with existing needs and all careful planning. The mushrooming of educational institutions that have been established has made many choices for new students to go to school, the principal should be able to anticipate all of this, so there must be an effort made by the principal to win the hearts of these prospective new students, by having a promotion strategy. which is good, cooperation with other parties or others.

Abstract

Effective school administration is an important factor in supporting overall school performance. However, there are still various administrative problems that are bureaucratic, inflexible, and not optimal in supporting the achievement of institutional goals. These conditions require the leadership of school principals who are capable of making strategic and sustainable changes. This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership of school principals in school administration and its impact on school performance. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies involving school principals, administrative staff, and teachers. Data analysis was carried out systematically through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the transformational leadership of school principals encourages changes in administrative governance that are more participatory, transparent, and service-oriented. The principal acts as a driver of change by building a shared vision, providing motivation, and optimizing school resources. Administrative governance based on transformational leadership has a positive impact on improving school performance, especially in the effectiveness of administrative services and support for the learning process. This study concludes that the transformational leadership of the principal contributes significantly to strengthening administrative governance and improving school performance in a sustainable manner.
