Abstract

Research entitled Community-Based Crisis Communication Model Innovation (Case Study of Disaster and Pandemic Mitigation in Bogor City and District by the BORAC Community). This study aims to formulate a community-based crisis innovation model that is able to bridge the fulfillment of information needs, education, preparedness, empowerment of affected communities and social aspects. This study provides an overview of communication science applied to Disaster Mitigation, especially building a community-based crisis communication model during disasters and pandemics. This study used a qualitative descriptive method and a collection method with interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results showed that the BORAC Community succeeded in carrying out crisis communication and disaster mitigation programs including socializing information on COVID19 mitigation, local heroes programs, implementing programs such as Eid Gifts, Fasting Coupons, and Replanting. The results of sharing these activities have changed people's attitudes ranging from cognitive, affective, and psychomotor so that people have high preparedness in dealing with disasters and have high resilience in the event of a disaster. This model of crisis communication can be adopted by other regions.

Abstract

This article describes the results of a literature study on using video as a medium for student learning. This article is part of research on developing learning videos among students to support the achievement of educational goals in higher education. The literature study was carried out as a survey of research articles on using video as a student learning media published in national journals and proceedings using Indonesian. The study's results were analyzed descriptively into three main study focuses: 1) the orientation of the use of video as a student learning media, 2) the software used in producing learning videos, and 3) the types of videos used as learning media. The results of this literature study are expected to be a reference for lecturers and developers of learning videos to produce a variety of varied and quality learning videos

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan kemampuan manajemen konten pengelola wisata lokal di Kampung Wisata Mulyaharja, Kota Bogor. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi Komunikasi Digital dan Media, Sekolah Vokasi IPB University ini berfokus pada strategi konten digital, perencanaan pembuatan konten, dan pengembangan branding melalui pendekatan pembelajaran partisipatif. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 28 peserta yang berasal dari dua kampung wisata, yaitu AEWO (Agro Edu Wisata Organik) dan Saung Eling, dengan tahapan kegiatan meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan pendampingan. Sesi teori memberikan pemahaman konseptual mengenai komunikasi digital, strategi branding, dan storytelling, sedangkan sesi praktik mengarahkan peserta untuk merancang kalender konten, menulis caption promosi, serta membuat identitas visual dengan bantuan teknologi berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) seperti ChatGPT, Gemini, dan Canva AI. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan peserta dalam merencanakan, memproduksi, dan mengevaluasi konten digital secara efektif. Evaluasi pascapelatihan memperlihatkan kenaikan engagement media sosial sebesar 40–60%, disertai peningkatan konsistensi visual dan narasi promosi yang lebih komunikatif. Kegiatan ini selaras dengan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) 4, 8, 9, dan 11 karena mendorong pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis kreativitas, teknologi, dan inklusivitas. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan literasi digital mampu memperkuat identitas lokal, mendorong inovasi, dan mendukung pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan di tingkat desa.
