Abstract

The program is an initiative to improve English language skills among students and educators in rural schools. The background to this program is limited access to effective English language learning in rural areas, which has an impact on students' low English language skills and limited opportunities to compete at a wider level. This program implements interactive, contextual and participatory learning methods, specifically designed to meet learning needs in rural areas. Through various activities such as basic English training, conversation sessions, daily interaction simulations, and teacher involvement in mentoring, this program provides an interesting and applicable learning experience for students. By involving the school community and the surrounding environment, this program is expected to create a sustainable impact, strengthen students' and teachers' confidence in using English, and prepare them for various educational and employment opportunities in the future. The community-based approach in this program not only benefits students, but also empowers educators to adopt more engaging and contextual teaching techniques. Through ongoing evaluation, it is hoped that this program can become an effective English language learning model in rural areas.

Abstract

The implementation of character education in SMAN 1 Arjasa Kangean Islands faces quite dominant challenges, including geographical location, low level of parental education, and lack of parental support and understanding, thus also interfering with the effectiveness of character education efforts. This research is a field research, which is a type of research where researchers collect data and information directly in the field to explore the implementation of character education in students at SMAN 1 Arjasa. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of character education at SMAN 1 Arjasa Kangean Islands is highly dependent on the role of Civic Education (PPKn) teachers. Teachers act as mentors, advisors, role models, and motivators for students by using various learning media to present the material in an interesting and effective manner. Teachers provide individual and group guidance, and provide examples of exemplary daily life, such as congregational prayer, handshakes, and environmental cleanliness, as a direct inspiration for students

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in forming Pancasila student profiles through the integration of Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects at Abu Ghonaim Bumiaji Batu Islamic Middle School. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methodology. Data collection tools consist of observation, interviews and documentation. The research findings show that the aim is to increase the components of the Pancasila student profile through the formulation of Civics learning modules. The teacher's role in implementing Citizenship Education through strengthening the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile includes: acting as a role model, inspirer, learning planner, elaboration of Pancasila values, model project facilitator, motivator, and assessor. The implementation of the Pancasila student profile through PPKn learning is facilitated by several key factors, including the dedication of teaching staff, the selection of students who are committed to the program, the provision of adequate learning facilities, the development of effective learning methods, and the active involvement of the school committee and the wider community.

Abstract

Understanding the dangers of gadget use is an understanding that discusses what is meant by gadgets, as well as the impacts caused by gadgets if they are played with for too long. However, in reality, what often happens is that there are still parents who do not understand the dangers of gadget use in early childhood. So it is necessary to make efforts to improve parents' understanding of the dangers of gadget use in early childhood by providing information services through audio-visual media. The purpose of this study was to determine whether information services using audio-visual media have an effect on improving understanding of the dangers of gadget use in parents of students. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological research type. The sample or research informants were 5 parents of students at Hidayatut Tholibin Kindergarten, Bojonegoro. Meanwhile, the data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation. Based on the results of interviews before and after being given information services, it was concluded that all informants understood the dangers of gadget use after providing information services through audio-visual media and applying them to students. So it can be concluded that providing information services through audio-visual media has an effect on increasing the understanding of the dangers of gadget use among parents of students at Hidayatut Tholibin Kindergarten, Bojonegoro

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter berbasis Pancasila merupakan landasan dalam membentuk mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKN) yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis Pancasila dalam membangun keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis data deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan analisis dan evaluasi mahasiswa terhadap isu sosial, politik, dan kebangsaan. Pendidikan karakter berbasis Pancasila efektif dalam membentuk mahasiswa yang berpikir kritis dan responsif terhadap perubahan zaman

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas konseling kelompok dengan pendekatan realitas dalam meningkatkan perilaku tanggung jawab siswa di SMPN 1 Kauman. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain pretest-posttest, yang melibatkan 30 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 30 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok berbasis pendekatan realitas berhasil meningkatkan perilaku tanggung jawab siswa, terutama dalam hal kedisiplinan, kemampuan mengelola waktu, sikap terhadap tugas akademik, dan kesadaran sosial. Peningkatan signifikan terlihat pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Pendekatan ini terbukti efektif dalam membantu siswa memahami pentingnya tanggung jawab dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan akademik mereka. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok berbasis pendekatan realitas dapat diterapkan secara luas di sekolah-sekolah untuk membentuk karakter siswa yang lebih bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of civic education in building law-aware citizens in the era of globalisation. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review, this research examines relevant literature related to civic education, law, and globalisation. The findings show that civic education plays an important role in shaping students' legal character through teaching that integrates national and international legal knowledge. Globalisation brings challenges in ensuring the accuracy of legal information received by students, so legal literacy and critical thinking skills become important aspects in civic education. Problem-based learning (PBL) and case study methods have proven effective in improving students' understanding of the application of law. In addition, the integration of global legal literacy in civic education is very relevant to prepare students for international legal issues. This research recommends strengthening the civic education curriculum by introducing international law, using technology to support learning, and implementing interactive teaching methods to improve students' 21st century skills. Thus, civic education is expected to form law-savvy citizens, both at the national and international levels.

Abstract

The development of law today reflects significant and complex dynamics driven by rapid technological transformation, social change, and the growing need for adaptive regulation in the digital era. Despite the increasing adoption of digital courts, enhanced data protection regulations, and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in legal practice, existing literature indicates limited comprehensive analyses that map these trends in a holistic manner (Gap). This narrative review synthesizes findings from academic publications, policy reports, and recent legal discourse to provide a thorough understanding of contemporary legal developments (Evidence). The review identifies that global legal systems are moving towards automation, transparency, and the protection of digital rights, while simultaneously facing challenges such as algorithmic bias, privacy threats, and disparities in legal access. Based on these insights, this study proposes the need for a responsive, sustainable, and inclusive legal framework that aligns technological innovation with principles of justice and human rights (Proposal). The findings highlight the crucial role of legal scholars and practitioners in shaping laws that can adapt to the complexities of the digital age.
