Abstract

This study discusses about how to evaluate the implementation of occupational health and safety (OHS) on batik small and medium sized enterprises in Madura. Successful implementation of OHS is influenced by worker behavior and then is measured by a score of worker safety through the intervention program. Intervention program is designed by using behavior-based safety approach that is based on the identification of hazards and risks at workplace. Intervention program is conducted by the provision of personal protective equipment, work standard setting, supervision and understanding improvement of the OHS. The results show that interventions can improve worker safety score from 34% to 56%.

Abstract

Determining core competence for creative industry which is characterized by utilizing creativity, skill and individual talent is the crucial selection process. It is because the output of creative industry as well as products and utilization of creativity are rapidly developed. This research discusses about mapping creative industry and determining core competence for creative industry in Bangkalan district based on the variable of gross domestic product, number of worker, international trade and number of firm. The method adopted for core competence determination is an integrated Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE). The result of mapping creative industry shows that art, craft, design, video or film and publishing are included in it. Meanwhile craft subsector is determined as a core competence that is focused in Bangkalan district.

Abstract

Industri kalsium oksida Kecamatan Manyar, Kabupaten Gresik adalah salah satu bagian dari usaha kecil menengah dibidang pembuatan kapur aktif (kalsium oksida). Pergeseran paradigma bisnis mulai merambah ke produk yang lebih akrab terhadap lingkungan, sehingga diharapkan produk lebih memperhatikan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan yang seminimal mungkin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi tata kelola (mitigasi) penanganan Risiko terkait dengan aktivitas produksi yang terjadi dalam business proses industri kalsium oksida. Identifikasi aspek dan dampak lingkungan dalam siklus produksi sangat berperan dalam mengevaluasi dampak dimasing-masing tahapan business proses. Evaluasi dampak menggunakan skoring BAPEDAL. Proses evaluasi dilanjutkan dengan pemetaan Risiko menggunakan peta Risiko untuk mengetahui keberadaan Risiko sekaligus untuk dapat merumuskan pola penanganan Risiko utamanya pada business proses yang memiliki nilai yang signifikan memberikan konstribusi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Perangkat yang digunakan untuk menidentifikasi aspek dan dampak lingkungan berupa material balance. Skoring BAPEDAL merupakan instrumen untuk mengevaluasi dampak yang dihasilkan, sedangkan peta Risiko sebagai alat bantu untuk memetakan pola penanganan (mitigasi) Risiko. Dari hasil analisa diperoleh skor signifikan 39.375 pada aktivitas pembakaran dan kuadran I (satu) pada pola penangangan (mitigasi) Risiko berupa (1) Menggunakan kayu kering dan padat (2)  Tidak mencampur bahan pembakar dengan karet atau plastik (3) Memastikan kalsium karbonat mengandung sedikit air (H2O) (4) Memperbanyak tanaman yang memiliki daun lebar/banyak untuk mempermudah menyerap CO2 di sekitar tungku pembakaran (5) Pemakaian masker pernapasan. Kata kunci: Material Balance, BAPEDAL, Mitigasi Risiko, Kalsium Oksida,, Polusi AbstractCalcium Oxide Industry of Manyar District is one of small and medium enterprise in producing calcium oxide. Business perspective paradigm starts moving to green product. Therefore, product expected to environmental friendly and has minimum impact toward the environment. This research is to gain in mitigating risk concern with the activity of calcium oxide business process. Aspect and impact identification are used to evaluate impact each activity of business process. BAPEDAL scoring used to quantify the impact hence risk maping is to determine the position of the risk. Risk maping is to establish executing model in reducing or preventing the impact. Material balance used to identify the aspect and impact. The result of scoring through BAPEDAL is 39.375 of burning process, and quadrant I as its position. Abstract

Industri kreatif merupakan bentuk pemanfaatan kreatifitas, ketrampilan serta bakat individu dengan cara menghasilkan dan mengeksploitasi daya kreasi dan daya cipta individu (Sumotarto, 2010). Menurut Departemen Perdagangan Republik Indonesia dalam Pengembangan Industri Kreatif Menuju Visi Ekonomi Kreatif 2025 menelompokkan jenis industri kreatif menjadi empat belas sektor antara lain ; 1). Periklanan, 2) Arsitektur, 3) Pasara Barang Seni, 4) Kerajinan, 5) Desain, 6) Fesyen, 7) Video, Film dan Fotografi, 8) Permainan Interaktif, 9) Musik, 10) Seni Pertunjukan, 11) Penerbitan dan Percetakan, 12) Layanan Komputer dan Piranti Lunak, 13) Televisi dan Radio, 14) Riset dan Pengembangan. Pemilihan kompetensi inti daerah pada multi-variabel berupa produk domestik bruto (PDB), jumlah ketenagakerjaan, perdagangan internasional dan jumlah perusahaan berdasarkan pemetaan industri kreatif di Kabupaten Bangkalan adalah tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada penelitian ini. Aplikasi Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) berupa integrasi Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dan metode perankingan Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) digunakan untuk menentukan kompetensi inti daerah sebagai sektor yang diunggulkan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kompetensi inti yang diunggulkan daerah di Kabupaten Bangkalan berupa subsektor kerajinan. Subsektor industri kreatif tersebut didapatkan dari hasil pemetaan industry kreatif yang ada antara lain berupa subsektor pasar seni dan barang antik, kerajinan, desain fasyen, video,film dan fotografi serta penerbitan dan percetakan.

Abstract

Banyaknya perusahaan yang masih belum mampu mengelola strategi pemasaran akan berakibat pada ketidakmampuan dalam bersaing dengan perusahaan lain di pasar bebas, yang pada akhirnya akan mengalami kebangkrutan. Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan oleh perusahaan seperti memberikan bonus ataupun diskon, akan tetapi masih belum ada hasil yang memuaskan, dan bahkan perusahaan akan mengalami kemacetan dalam memberikan keuntungan. PT.FIAN WISATA, Tours and Travell berupaya melakukan pembenahan manajemen pemasarannya hingga mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Tiga tahapan yang dilakukan dalam nenyelesaikan masalah diatas yaitu tahap masukan, tahap pencocokan dan tahap kesimpulan. Pada tahap masukan terbagi menjadi tiga jenis data yaitu Matrik Evaluasi Faktor Eksternal (EFE), Matrik Evaluasi Faktor Insternal (EFI) dan matriks Profil Persaingan (CPM). Sedangkan pada tahap Pencocokan digunakan tiga metode yaituMatriks SWOT, SPACE, Internal-Eksternal dan Matriks Grand Strategi. Dan terakhir adalah Tahap Keputusan dengan menggunakan QSPM. Pada matriks SPACE menyarankan agar menggunakan strategi kompetitif dapat berupa persaingan harga yang ketat, peningkatan kualitas pelayanan dan perluasan pasar. Sedangkan pada matriks Grand Strategy menyarankan agar menggunakan strategi intensif yang dapat berupa pembenahan arus kas, manajemen pemasaran/promosinya dan segala sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan pembenahan kekurangan dalam perusahaan itu sendiri.

Abstract

issue of majority owned by Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) generally is business managerial focused on marketing aspect. In the event of Kelompok Tani Ambudi Makmur II has business unit for salacca zalacca in UD. Budi Jaya. Product selling currently only in center store of hand gift in Bangkalan. Besides, others like transfer of knowledge and technology of community service program is the minimum competency of human resource in operating/managing website. The condition due to low education degree of the owner and management SME that just junior high school. Based on the above condition, proposed community service activity namely IbM (Ipteks Bagi Masyarakat) was conducted in order that transfer knowledge and skill in computer field to SME’s Management by considering the constraint relating to human resource. These program are training of basic computer like Microsoft Word and Excell, internet, managing web e commerce. Basic computer needs to support daily administrative operation management such financial report, working report, invitation so on. Meanwhile, IbM’s Program proposed design web e commerce by web account ; www.ambudimakmur.com as medium of promotion and product marketing for salacca zalacca widely. This program also facilitied the training for the owner and SME’s Management as the administrator web in managing and maintaining e commerce included the on line transaction.Key word: salacca zalacca, SME, IbM, e commerce

Abstract

Accident generally occurs due to the activities which is done in unsafe conditions or even unsafe behavior. These conditions can influence workers productivity. In batik industries, those workers use toxic material and work in non ergonomic atmosphere. Moreover, they also do not take care of the environment and do not use personal protective equipments (PPE). Workers at Madura batik SMEs have not fully realized the significance of occupational health and safety (OHS) in their working areas. The aims of this research is to evaluate OHS performance based on the indicators of safety performance index (SPI), which is multicriteria, in that industri. The safety performance attributes were obtained from factor analysis from the previous study. The index is calculated based on the weighted evaluation results of critical behavior checklist (CBC), integrated with analytical hierarchy process (AHP). As the results, we should give priority to improve the knowledge and experience toward OHS of the workers and also improve the working environment of the Madura’s batik industries. Additionally, the performance of OHS in coloring process is also on the threshold of unsafe condition, further development on the coloring process is needed.

Abstract

Maintenance Activity Planning by Reability Centered Maintenance II Method. This research discusses maintenance activity planning using the RCM II method to evaluate failure function risk on compresor screw. The calculation of maintenance time is performed by considering maintenance and repair costs. The risk evaluation result with RPN shows that the critical component that needs to get the main priority in applying maintenance on compresor screw is function disorder on timeworn piston and on the broken outgoing air sponge’s filter that receives RPN 45. The optimum maintenance time calculation is applied on components that undergo scheduled restoration and scheduled discard task so that this action becomes technically feasible in decreasing the consequence of damage. The optimum maintenance time value that is acquired to prevent damage on compresor screw is lower than the value of its MTTF, which demonstrates that optimum maintenance time will be significant in avoiding component function damage before the damage happens.
