Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi adanya konsep matematika dalam gapura Monumen Trikora di lembeh Sulawesi Utara. Monumen tersebut merupakan bangunan sejarah untuk memperingati perjuangan tentara dan rakyat Indonesia dalam merebut kembali wilayah Irian Barat dari penjajahan Belanda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, studi literatur, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada gapura monumen Trikora terdapat konsep matematika di antaranya konsep bangun datar persegi panjang, kekongruenan, pola barisan aritmatika tingkat satu dan dua

Abstract

Education in Indonesia aims to create students who are ethical, moral, and devoted to God Almighty. Islamic integrated mathematics learning is one of the bridges to achieve this goal. This research aims to discover and explore Islamic integrated mathematics derived from hadith. The systematic literature review method was used in this research. The data used were 20 scientific papers in the 2019-2023 range from the Google Scholar database obtained through the Publish and Perish application. Data was analyzed by identifying, reviewing, comparing, and interpreting all data. The results showed various hadith themes and mathematical concepts used in Islamic integrated mathematics. The results of this study can be helpful for teachers and lecturers as a learning resource to be applied in learning Islamic integrated mathematics.

Abstract

Digitized learning in Islamic boarding schools is an opportunity and, at the same time, the challenge of continuing to transform to make the learning process massively more efficient and comprehensive in every aspect of human life. In the current era of disruption, technological and industrial change is facing a significant revolution and is known as the Society 5.0 era. Of course, in facing the era of society 5.0, the world of education has an important contribution to make in adapting to current developments in improving the quality of human resources. This research aims to describe the urgency of digitizing learning for Madrasah Aliyah Islamic Boarding School students in the Society 5.0 era. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and a literature study. The research results show the importance of digitalization learning in the era of society 5.0 in Islamic boarding school-based Madrasah Aliyah, activists and stakeholders in education, get an overview of the application of technology learning, which is more specific to communication tools, the challenges of implementing digitalization learning, and the efforts that need to be made to maximize digitalization learning in Islamic boarding school-based Islamic schools.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an e-module about relations and functions based on contextual learning that is integrated with Islamic values ​​that are valid, practical, and interesting. The research carried out is development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which goes through 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were class VIII students at MTs Arafah Bitung, North Sulawesi. The data obtained was analyzed descriptively, and percentage data was used to represent the results.  The research results show that the e-module developed on relation and function material is valid, practical, and interesting. The validity test obtained an average feasibility percentage of 86.8%. The practicality test obtained an average feasibility percentage of 90.1%. Meanwhile, the attractiveness test obtained an average feasibility percentage of 87.7%. The relations and function e-module specifications developed include understanding the concepts of relations and functions and presenting relations and functions based on integrated contextual learning of Islamic values. This proves that the e-module is suitable for use as teaching material and a means of independent education in the learning process.

Abstract

Pendidikan nasional berupaya untuk menghasilkan manusia yang menghargai keberagaman budaya tanah air. Etnomatematika merupakan pendekatan yang menghubungkan aspek matematika dan budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep matematika dan nilai budaya yang terdapat pada jam gadang yang terletak Kota Bukittinggi, Sumatera Barat. Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pendekatan etnografi diterapkan peneliti dengan menggali informasi dalam suatu kelompok budaya dengan cara mendatangi, mengamati, mengukur, serta mewawancarai informan yang telah berkecimpung dalam suatu budaya. Data penelitian didapatkan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menyatakan adanya konsep-konsep matematika dan nilai budaya pada jam gadang Bukittinggi. Konsep-konsep matematis yang diperoleh yaitu konsep refleksi, konsep rotasi, konsep dilatasi, dan konsep fungsi floor. Nilai budaya yang diperoleh yaitu bentuk gonjong pada atap jam gadang serta ukiran saik galamai pada jam gadang. Penelitian ini berkontribusi sebagai referensi sumber belajar matematika berbasis budaya khas Minangkabau serta dapat dimanfaatkan untuk bahan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya.

Abstract

There has been an increase in research on ethnomathematics in mathematics education, along with a rise in research on ethnomodelling. It triggers an increasing need and interest in how ethnomodelling is applied in mathematics learning. This study aims to review the literature on implementing ethnomodelling in mathematics learning. This research method is a systematic literature review with the PRISMA model. The research data are ethnomodelling-themed studies in mathematics learning published from 2019 to 2023 and obtained through the Google Scholar database. The articles obtained were 17 articles published in various countries. The results showed the implementation of ethnomodelling in mathematics learning, including different mathematical concepts, cultural objects, and ethnomodelling approaches. Also presented are contributions from various researchers and countries that have applied ethnomodelling in mathematics learning. The results of this study contribute to researchers, teachers, and practitioners in the form of a review of various ethnomodelling studies within the scope of mathematics concepts. So, they can be used as guidelines in developing culture-based mathematics learning strategies.

Abstract

Dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan, suatu proses harus dilakukan secara dinamis dan berkesinambungan agar efektif dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengembangan diri terkait kurikulum belajar mandiri. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk in-house training melibatkan 12 orang tenaga pendidik yang berada di Madrasah Aliyah Arafah Bitung. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan memberikan materi, berdiskusi, dan menanyakan jawaban. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pemahaman materi yang baik diperoleh persentase sebesar 33,3% menyatakan sangat setuju, 41,7% menyatakan setuju, dan 25% menyatakan cukup setuju. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi terkait pengembangan kurikulum belajar mandiri.
