Abstract

This research aims to find out the Tabungan Qurban development strategy at LAZISMU Jember. Development strategies are needed to formulate the right alternative strategies to be applied to Tabungan Qurban LAZISMU Jember. This research uses descriptive analytical research methods. Data collection methods are interviews with questionnaires, observations and documentation. The data analysis method used is to use SWOT analysis through three stages, identification of internal factors and external factors, input stage and matching stage. The results of the analysis showed that the development of Tabungan Qurban LAZISMU Jember by using SWOT analysis include: strengths-opportunities (maintaining the image of the institution in the eyes of donors and building a positive image in the community and increasing loyalty to donors, while maintaining the quality of qurban meat by maximizing the empowerment of qurban breeders, maximizing cooperation with Islamic banking, determining brand positioning statements), weaknesses-opportunities (forming a special deviation to handle and manage savings programs, promote on social media in an orderly manner), strengths-threaths (increasing the competitiveness of more institutions than other institutions), weaknesses-threaths (utilizing LAZISMU human resources to improve the quality of Tabungan Qurban). Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia sangat berdampak terhadap usaha UMKM terutama yang memiliki produk tidak tahan lama. UMKM produk khas olahan hasil laut yang berada di Kelurahan Sukolilo Baru merupakan salah satunya. Hal ini disebabkan karena UMKM hanya menjual secara konvensional yaitu menunggu konsumen datang dan membeli. Karena penyimpanan dan pengemasan produk belum baik maka produk yang tidak terjual mengalami kerusakan, berakibat semakin memperparah kerugian. Maka kegiatan abdimas ini bertujuan untuk memperpanjang usia produk melalui packaging yang baik dan untuk mengembalikan penjualan yang hilang dilakukan branding produk maupun destinasi.

Abstract

Kehidupan psikologis, sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat Mentawai sangatlah jauh dari sejahtera. Kondisi geografis yang dimiliki semakin memperparah kondisi tersebut. Upaya yang dilakukan Pemerintah juga belum membuahkan hasil yang nyata. Di saat kondisi masyarakat masih jauh dari sejahtera, pemerintah pusat menetapkan Mentawai sebagai kawasan ekonomi khusus (KEK). Konsekuensinya adalah keharusan untuk berlari mengejar ketertinggalan menjadi semakin dibutuhkan. Masyarakat Mentawai dengan budaya uniknya sejatinya memiliki potensi luar biasa. Atas dasar itu maka para pelaku abdimas tertarik untuk melibatkan diri dalam kegiatan pemberdayaan psiko-sosio-ekonomi masyarakat Mentawai sehingga akan terjadi akselerasi tercapainya kesejahteraan masyarakat Mentawai. Metode pemecahan masalah yang digunakan adalah melakukan kegiatan pemberdayaan dengan model pelatihan dan pendampingan, dengan berbasis pada hasil analisis kebutuhan yang sebelumnya sudah dilakukan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan dampak yang positif kepada masyarakat, khususnya para ibu rumah tangga yang adalah angota PKK. Dalam diri para ibu rumah tangga yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini tumbuh kesadaran akan pentingnya pengembangan potensi diri. Peserta mengalami perubahan pola pikir dan memiliki kemampuan untuk memetakan potensi yang mereka miliki, serta memiliki keberanian untuk mengusulkan beberapa program kepada pemerintah desa. Bahkan, ibu-ibu perwakilan PKK dari tiap dusun ini mulai menginisiasi pembentukan kelompok-kelompok usaha bersama untuk memfasilitasi mereka yang memiliki peminatan dan potensi yang sama dengan semangat asah, asih dan asuh. Lebih jauh lagi, kegiatan sosialisasi dan pemetaan potensi ini disambut dengan baik oleh perangkat desa sebagai upaya untuk pengembangan sumber daya perempuan dan potensi ibu rumah tangga dalam upaya mencari jalan keluar permasalahan ekonomi keluarga.

Abstract

Surabaya is a coastal city with high economic and tourism potential. Three main things that have been done by the city government (physical development, sustainable development programs, and economic strengthening) need to be noted, for example, the non-optimal management of the tourism potential of the coastal area and the imbalance between the tourist area and the surrounding fishing villages. On that basis, this research tries to answer various issues related to the optimization of tourism development in the coastal area of Bulak, Surabaya. This research is initial research that maps the various potentials (owned by the Bulak coastal area of Surabaya), which is then followed up by offering development strategies. This research used a descriptive model qualitative approach. The initial study was conducted by analyzing various planning documents, which were then followed up with field observations and interviews with key people. In the final stage, the researcher then analyzed the development strategy. The results of this study state that Bulak sub-district has nine tourism objects that have the potential to be developed in the coastal area. The proposed development strategy (based on the results of data processing) is an aggressive maintenance strategy. This is done by strengthening inward by making improvements in various fields. Abstract

The seafood processing business group in Sukolilo Baru, Kenjeran, Surabaya consists of 43 units. Among these, 29 units are household-scale seafood processing businesses and seafood product retail shops. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, these entrepreneurs are striving to restore their businesses' turnover to pre-pandemic levels. Hence, they require training and mentoring as a follow-up to the community service program previously conducted by the community service team. The achievements of the team's previous community service program include: improved product packaging skills, labeling and branding of products, as well as the issuance of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and suitability certifications for household-scale businesses to the entrepreneurs. The ongoing community service activities currently include training, mentoring, and halal certification registration. These activities aim to enhance the marketability of the partners' products. The partners in this community service endeavor are residents in the area engaged in seafood processing businesses. Participants are involved in three activities: pre-community service preparation, community service implementation, and post-community service follow-up (monitoring-evaluation). Preparation activities are realized through preliminary studies involving pre-surveys to evaluate the conditions and readiness of the entrepreneurs. Implementation activities include: (1) training on the importance of halal certification, (2) mentoring and practice in filling out halal certificate registration forms using the Si Halal application, BPJPH Kemenag, and (3) evaluation of the process of these activities. This evaluation is conducted to understand the extent of understanding of halal certification for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Abstract

Pemilihan topik kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dijalankan saat ini berangkat dari keprihatinan terhadap keberadaan para pelaku usaha, terutama yang mengolah dan menjual produk kerupuk hasil laut, yang berada di Kelurahan Sukolilo Baru, Kenjeran, Surabaya. Sejak adanya Covid-19, hal yang paling dirasakan oleh para pelaku usaha ini adalah penurunan volume penjualan. Para pelaku UMKM hanya menggunakan format toko (konvensional) untuk memasarkan produknya yaitu hanya menunggu pembeli untuk datang ke toko sedangkan produk yang dihasilkan memiliki daya tahan yang tidak lama (mudah rusak). Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan terobosan baru agar usaha ini dapat terus berjalan.  Program Abdimas ini bekerjasama dengan 15 mitra UMKM produk kerupuk olahan hasil laut yang ada di Kelurahan Sukolilo Baru, Kecamatan Bulak, Kota Surabaya. Solusi yang ditawarkan pada para mitra adalah: peningkatan nilai produk melalui perolehan NIB, PIRT dan sertifikasi Halal. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kegiatan abdimas ini melibatkan mahasiswa. Sampai dengan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini berakhir, luaran yang dicapai adalah UMKM mitra sudah mampu melakukan pengemasan produk lebih baik, memiliki label dan merek produk, 3 mitra UMKM mampu mendaftarkan NIB versi baru dan 2 mitra memperoleh PIRT dan siap untuk mengajukan sertifikasi Halal.

Abstract

This paper aims to map the potential of the region and competitiveness in constructing a model of self-reliance for the Mentawai indigenous peoples. Design/methodology/approach Techniques of collecting data by interviewing and studying documents and archives. The target respondents are government officials, tribal chiefs, teachers, clergy, and community leaders. Findings - The gross enrollment rate (APK) for elementary schools in 2021 is 115.91 percent; SMP APK is 86.54 percent; and high school APK of 67.07 percent. Practical implications collect data on Mentawai in an effort to build a recommendation namely 1) training for UMA members to determine appropriate training for UMA members, such as services, craft training, food processing, culture, religion, and so on; 2) Recording and enlivening the cultures that exist in UMA; 3) increasing capacity building and developing the character of UMA members, 3) Awareness of tourism potential; 4) Development of internet network and digital literacy. Originality/value this study analyzes a real picture of the Mentawai situation and conditions in an effort to develop so that Mentawai is able to develop in keeping pace with developments with other regions.

Abstract

This research uses quantitative methods using an exploratory factor analysis approach. This research explores the factors that influence consumers' decisions in choosing a smartwatch as a wearable technology that helps monitor health. This research was conducted in Surabaya, East Java and involved 120 respondents to describe data regarding the reasons for choosing a smartwatch as wearable technology that helps monitor health. From the results of the analysis, it was found that seven factors shape the choice of the smartwatch as a health monitoring tool, including social factors, motivational factors, reference factors, cultural factors, service factors, individual factors, and psychological factors.

Abstract

Hasil studi ini ditujukan untuk memberikan insights bagi pelaku usaha online agar dapat merancang strategi secara lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan online impulse buying dari konsumen, dengan menguji pengaruh e-content dan e-review terhadap online impulse buying pada marketplace. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya perbedaan pengaruh terhadap online impulse buying pada generasi Y dan Z, yang masih belum banyak diteliti di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Total keseluruhan kuesioner yang diolah dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 167 sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari e-content dan e-review terhadap online impulse buying. Selain itu, terdapat perbedaan pengaruh terhadap online impulse buying pada generasi Y dan Z, dimana saat usia konsumen semakin tua maka keinginan untuk melakukan online impulse buying akan semakin menurun dan begitu juga sebaliknya. Kebaruan dari penelitian ini dapat ditemukan pada peran dua dimensi atmospheric cues yaitu e-content dan e-reviews terhadap online impulse buying, yang belum banyak diteliti. Penelitian ini juga melakukan uji beda terhadap online impulse buying pada generasi Y dan Z, yang memiliki perbedaan perilaku dan merupakan sebuah tantangan bagi peritel online.
