Abstract

Abstract. The research was due to several problems found in the field: not all students can use the google form in an independent reading comprehension assessment, and the lack of practicality and effectiveness of students in using the google form as a reading assessment. The research is aimed to find out students' perceptions of using Google Forms. This research used descriptive quantitative research. Descriptive research is a kind of research method to describe and interpret an object naturally. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire to determine students' perceptions of the use of Google Forms as an assessment of reading comprehension. Data were collected from questionnaires which were distributed to each sample, besides that data analysis was carried out by identifying respondents' answers, and analyzing data. In this study, the population is all students of class X SMAN 3 Bukittinggi which consists of 3 departments amounting to 367 people. And the samples were 2 classes of Mathematics and Natural Sciences I and MIPA II whose samples used purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out by identifying respondents' answers, calculating the percentage of each indicator, and concluding. The results of this study indicate that students' perceptions using google form as a reading comprehension assessment found in the practicality indicator with a percentage of 86.80% very practical, then the effectiveness indicator 82.81% is very effective. It can be concluded that students have a good perception of the use of Google Forms as an assessment of reading comprehension.

Abstract

In this study, the authors used movies to improve students' critical thinking. This study used a quasi-experiment and purposive sampling. The population is all students of class VIII at MTsN 7 Agam. Class VIII.1 was taken as a sample. Understanding and critical thinking of students who think in forms are used as instruments for this research. Research data were analyzed quantitatively. The results of the study include: 1) using movies is better than students studying conventionally. 2) students' critical thinking is better by using movies than by using conventional learning. After being examined, it turns out that movies improve students' critical thinking skills rather than using conventional learning. The movie used can be adapted to the situation and conditions of the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rendahnya hasil ujian tengah semester siswa di kelas VIII B di SMPN 05 Lembang Jaya tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Dalam hasil ujian tersebut terdapat 25 siswa namun hanya 1 orang siswa yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan, yang mana untuk kriteria ketuntasan di SMPN 05 Lembang jaya adalah 75. Slah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMPN 05 Lembang Jaya adalah dengan menerapkan penggunaan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajarn Pendidikan Agama Islam. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah hasil belajar pendidikan agama isalam dengan menerapkan pendekatan saintifik lebih baik dari pada pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pendekatan konvensional di kelas VIII SMPN 05 Lembang Jaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian yaitu Non-equivalen Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji-t. Dari uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung 2,01 > ttabel 1,68 maka H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Software Minitab diperoleh P-value 0,02 < α 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa “ Hasil Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan menerapkan pendekatan saintifik lebih baik dari pada hasil pembelajaran konvensional di kelas VIII SMPN 05 Lembang Jaya tahun pelajaran 2023/2024”.

Abstract

This research is based on the background as it is known that canteen guards at SMK N 01 Koto Balingka often complain about students' cheating actions when shopping. In practice, students always apply the system of eating 3, paying 2, claiming 1 so that students' honesty is not applied when shopping in the canteen, so the vice head of student affairs proposes to establish an honesty canteen with the aim that students' honest attitudes are trained and accustomed to being honest. This research was carried out with the aim of knowing the management of the honesty canteen at SMK N 01 Koto Balingka, To find out how the honesty canteen is used as a moral learning medium, To find out how the impact of the honesty canteen on the morals of students in SMK N 01 Koto Balingka. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the type of case study research. This research collects data by interview and documentation method. Sources of data used to collect data in the form of school data and interviews. Data analysis starts from data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the management of the honesty canteen at SMK N 01 Koto Balingka was initially planning to form an honesty canteen, then preparing the canteen's willingness to stand up and finally carrying out the honesty canteen process. honesty. The honesty canteen is a canteen provided by the school without any sellers or guards, students transact themselves in the canteen and take whatever they need and put their money in the payment box provided, To find out how the impact of the honesty canteen on the morals of students at SMK N 01 koto This balingka is that with the existence of an honesty canteen, it can provide positive education and benefits for students. Such as training students' honesty because they are required to pay according to the price listed, so that it is also useful for fostering an anti-corruption spirit in students and changing bad traits such as stealing, because if someone else finds out then they are advised not to steal again, so the thief will not repeat his actions again.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of independence of students in learning PAI such as not daring to ask or answer questions from the teacher, not believing in doing assignments, cheating on their friends and making noise in class when there was no teacher. So the formulation of this research is what causes the lack of student independence in terms of confidence and responsibility in PAI learning in class V at SDN 28 Koto Nan IV Air Batu. The purpose of this study was to determine the cause of the low independence of students in terms of confidence and responsibility in PAI learning in class V at SDN 28 Koto Nan IV Air Batu Kenagarian Pelangai Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research is descriptive research, namely research conducted to describe or explain in a systematic, factual and accurate manner about the facts and characteristics of a particular population. This research was conducted at SDN 28 Koto Nan IV Air Batu Kenagarian Pelangai, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The key informants of this study were fifth grade students who were less independent with supporting informants, namely Islamic religious education teachers who taught in fifth grade. Data collection techniques were observation and interviews. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the cause of the lack of independence of fifth grade students in terms of self-confidence and responsibility in learning Islamic Religious Education was due to the factors of parents who were busy working, did not pay attention and did not guide their children and the factor of teachers who did not care about students with low abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in PKn learning with Cooperative Learning model with Talking Stick type in Grade Fourth Public Elementary School Number 01 Bandar Buat. The approach used is qualitative and quantitative. The subjects were  teacher and 30 students. The results of this study indicate improvement in student learning outcomes. In cycle I obtained the average percentage of student learning outcomes 81 and on the  cycle II is 89. Thus, cooperative model type Talking Stick can improve student learning outcomes in learning Civics in class IV SD Negeri 01 Bandar Buat.

Abstract

The currently curriculum in Indonesia education is Merdeka curriculum while in one of private school in Bukittinggi used Cambridge curriculum in learning English. This school used Cambridge text book in teaching English at 7 – 9 grade. This research conducted a qualitative research with a case study. The research aims to to find out the  implementation of Cambridge curriculum based textbook, the inhibition of the using the textbook and the differences between others English textbook that apply in others curriculum at  school in teaching English,. The data collected through depth interview with the English teacher in the school and the data is analyzed use thematic analysis toward the data. The finding of the implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 39 Bukittinggi supports the school's aim to produce confident English speakers by emphasizing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. However, challenges arise due to differences with the Indonesian curriculum, students' varying levels of proficiency, and the complexity of British English materials. Despite limited resources and a heavy academic workload, the teacher uses innovative methods to motivate students and integrate English into their daily lives.

Abstract

The background of the problems found, some teenagers are often alone with the opposite sex. In addition, there are also some teenagers who often hang out in stalls or quiet places with their peers and do bad things such as saying dirty words and smoking with their peers. Therefore, the author is interested in examining how the public's perception of the morals of fellow teenagers in Jorong Mudiak Palupuah, Kenagarian Koto Rantang, Palupuah District, Agam Regency. This type of research uses survey research with a quantitative approach. The location of the research is in the Jorong Mudiak Community, Palupuah, because most adolescent relationships are not in accordance with what they should be and the author also finds various problems that need to be resolved. With primary data taken from the field and secondary data taken indirectly. Based on the results of the author's research, that the public perception of the morals of fellow teenagers in Jorong Mudiak Palupuah, Kenagarian Koto Rantang, Palupuah District, Agam Regency, the overall public perception of the morals of fellow teenagers is a small portion (5.6%) of respondents saying that teenagers always have morals in their environment. Approximately, some (38.3%) of respondents answered that teenagers often have morals in their daily lives, some (38%) of respondents said that teenagers sometimes have morals in their daily lives, some (15%) of respondents assumed that teenagers rarely have morals in their environment. , and a small proportion (1.5%) of respondents gave answers to teenagers who have no morals in the community. Abstract

There were student problem foun at SMKN 1 Ranah Batahan which consist of  TP, TAV, TKJ and OTKP. Some students errors commited in misformation and some others did errors in format application lette. This research used a descriptive quantitative. The populations of this research were 105 of  XII Grade students of SMKN 1 Ranah Batahan which consist of  TP, TAV, TKJ and OTKP. The researcher used  purposive sampling to determine because the researcher has some consideration to determine the samples. The researcher chose one of fourth classes as the sample. The sample in this research was 24 students. The tehnique of the data collection in this research was students worksheet of writing application letter. To analyze the data collected the researcher  used steps by Ellis in journal Rizki Ananda namely selection, identification, classify and to calculate the data using the formula by sugiono namely: P=f/Nx 100%. The result of the research showed  that students’ error in writing application letter at XII grade in SMKN 1 Ranah Batahan were 149.4 errors. First, there were 62 errors in misformation which were 41% of total errors. Second, there were 50.2 errors in omission which were 34% of total errors. Third there were 26.3 error in addition which were 18% of total errors. There were errors 10.9 errors  in misordering which were 7% of total errors. Furtheremore, the dominant errors in this research was missformation which were 41% of total errors. Abstrak Terdapat permasalahan siswa yang ditemukan di SMKN 1 Ranah Batahan yang terdiri dari TP, TAV, TKJ dan OTKP. Beberapa siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam salah informasi dan beberapa lainnya melakukan kesalahan dalam format surat lamaran Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 105 siswa kelas XII SMKN 1 Ranah Batahan yang terdiri dari TP, TAV, TKJ dan OTKP. Peneliti menggunakan purposive sampling dalam penentuannya karena peneliti mempunyai beberapa pertimbangan untuk menentukan sampel. Peneliti memilih salah satu dari keempat kelas sebagai sampel. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar kerja siswa menulis surat lamaran. Untuk menganalisis data yang terkumpul peneliti menggunakan langkah-langkah Ellis dalam jurnal Rizki Ananda yaitu memilih, mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasikan dan menghitung data menggunakan rumus menurut sugiono yaitu: P=f/Nx 100%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesalahan penulisan surat lamaran kerja siswa kelas XII SMKN 1 Ranah Batahan sebanyak 149,4 kesalahan. Pertama, terdapat 62 kesalahan dalam misformation yang merupakan 41% dari total kesalahan. Kedua, ada 50,2 kesalahan dalam penghilangan yang merupakan 34% dari total kesalahan. Ketiga ada 26,3 kesalahan tambahan yang merupakan 18% dari total kesalahan. Ada kesalahan 10,9 kesalahan dalam kesalahan pemesanan yang merupakan 7% dari total kesalahan. Selain itu, kesalahan yang dominan dalam penelitian ini adalah kesalahan formasi sebesar 41% dari total kesalahan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems identified in Grade VIII of MTsN 3 Agam, namely the lack of teaching materials and the use of student worksheets (LKPD) that are not yet based on the scientific approach. The existing LKPDs at the school are publisher-produced and do not align with the characteristics of the students, making it difficult for them to understand the mathematics material being taught. This study is a development research or Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model. The research steps carried out include the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Based on the development research conducted, the resulting LKPD has a validity level categorized as very valid at 82.727%, a practicality level categorized as very practical at 83.74%, and an effectiveness level categorized as very effective at 80.64%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the LKPD based on the Scientific Approach in Mathematics Learning for Grade VIII of MTsN 3 Agam that was developed is valid, practical, and effective.
