Abstract

Use of face masks and respirators are significant in preventing the transmission of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) via respiratory droplets or aerosols. The development of face masks and respirators have beenfocused on the modification using nanoparticles (NPs) to obtain biocidal activities. The incorporation ofNPs can also increase the hydrophobicity of the material that assists the repelling of virus carrying dropletsor aerosols. Nevertheless, the common cost of gaining those benefits is breathability. Previous studies havereported on the discomforts of wearing a face mask or respirator, one of which is stems from breathingdifficulty. At the time of pandemic, maintaining the comfort wearing of face masks or respirators is evenmore crucial. Thus, this review article is important to keep the breathability aspect gaining a spotlight inthe development of NPs-modified face masks or respirators. Herein, we discuss the relationship betweenthe addition of NPs with breathability of the material. In the beginning of discussion, types of protectiverespiratory equipments, and biocidal activities of the modified fabrics are discussed. Strategies in maintainingthe air permeability for long duration use and self-cleansing feature are also discussed.

Abstract

 This research was conducted at the Institute of Islamic Microfinance Baitul Mal of Aceh, with the aim to determine the financial management practices of Community-Based Program Islamic Microfinance and financial reporting of financing Islamic Microfinance Community-Based Program.This research using descriptive analysis with an emphasis on understanding the issues based on the conditions of reality to explain the description in the form of the sentence, with the source of the data used are primary data obtained directly from the research. The results showed the distribution of funding for microfinance islamic community based on Micro Finance Institutions Sharia Baitul Mal Aceh distributed to mustahik to approach the concept of 5C + 1S, which includes character, ability / capacity, capital, collateral and economic situation / condition, with the number of mustahik financing receiver as much as 2,083 people with average growth rate of as much as 694 people per year mustahik, and the amount of financing provided as much as Rp 7.963.850.000,- the rate of growth of an annual average of Rp 2,654,616,667, -. Financial reporting conducted by Microfinance Institutions Sharia Baitul Mal of Aceh are in accordance with the statement of financial accounting standards (SFAS) No. 101 concerning the presentation of the financial statements of sharia, which includes the statement of financial position (balance sheet), income / loss, cash flow statement and notes financial statements (CALK). Keywords: Islamic Microfinance Financing and Financial Reporting

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of variables Discipline, motivation and the Physical Environment on Performance. Research was conducted on Nurses, Hospitals Petala Bumi in Pekanbaru. In this research consists of four variables: the dependent variable and three independent variables. These variables are Performance (Y), the Physical Environment (X3), Motivation (X2), and Discipline (X1). This study was conducted using a sample of 86 people. This research using purposive sampling technique is the determination of the sample is based on respondents who have certain criteria to fill out a questionnaire. In terms of data analysis, this study using multiple regression analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 20. Based on the hypothesis tests conducted, results indicate that the Disciplinary research and significant positive effect on performance, motivation positive and significant impact on the Performance and Physical Environment positive and significant impact on performance. Discipline, Motivation and Work Environment Physical positive and significant impact on Performance.Keywords: Discipline, Motivation, Physical Environment, Performance.

Abstract

AbstractAlee Tunjang merupakan kesenian tradisional kabupaten Aceh Utara. Alee Tunjang adalah permainan yang dilakukan secara kelompok setelah panen padi tiba. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan fungsi dan persepsi Alee Tunjang bagi masyarakat Desa Prie Kecamatan Tanah Pasir Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif interpretatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Pengabsahan data dilakukan peneliti dengan pengabsahan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data dengan cara penyajian data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Alee Tunjang memiliki fungsi sebagai sarana hiburan, komunikasi, perlambangan, dan sosial. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap Alee Tunjang adalah bermacam ragam, karena penampilan Alee Tunjang pada  syair menceritakan nasehat, sejarah, dan petuah-petuah. Syair dinyanyikan oleh pemain Alee Tunjang. Persepsi penonton terhadap penampilan Alee Tunjang terkait syair yang dibawakan, bahwa penonton menikmati sekali penampilan Alee Tunjang yang disajikan. Bentuk dari Alee Tunjang, Alee adalah menunjang tinggi seperti galah, sedangkan lesungnya gelondongan batang kayu masing-masing memiliki kedalaman lubang berbeda-beda, sehingga apabila dimainkan menghasilkan suara yang berbeda-beda pula pada tiap lesungnya, ukuran lesung lebih kurang setinggi lutut orang dewasa. Cara bermain diletakkan di depan masing-masing pemain seperti menumbuk padi.  Kata-kata kunci: Fungsi; Persepsi; Alee Tunjang.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020 until now has had an impact on all aspects of people's lives. The government has made various efforts to achieve the COVID-19 vaccination target, but promotive and preventive efforts still need to be strengthened considering that many people refuse vaccination. In Indonesia, promotional efforts using video and poster media have begun to develop. Puskesmas is a health service facility that focuses on promotive efforts where the involvement of health cadres greatly influences these efforts. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of video and poster health promotion media on increasing the knowledge and attitudes of cadres about COVID-19 vaccination. Research methods:Method usedRandomized Controlled Trialpretest posttest with control group design.The population is all health cadres in Banda Aceh City. Randomly selected at the cluster level. Of the 9 sub-districts, 3 sub-districts were selected as the population to be studied. Sampling by Cluster Randomized Sampling based on the sampling criteria, the determination of the sample size using OpenEpi software is 213 people. Data retrieval using a questionnaire was analyzed by Kruskal Wallis statistical test with Post hoc Mann Whitney, Wilcoxon, Spearmen's Bivariate Correlation and Multivariate Multiple Linear Regression. Research result:. video and poster media were effective in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of cadres (P=.000) and there was no difference in their effectiveness (P=.212 and P=.228).The level of knowledge and attitudes of cadres increased after being given an intervention with video and poster media (P=.000). There was no effect of the Confounding variable on the level of knowledge and attitudes of cadres (age P = ,122 and ,438), (education P = 089 and ,308), (occupation P = ,445 and ,163), (service period P = ,051 and .264), (vaccination training P=.16 and .18) (income P=.265 and .412). The most dominant variables influencing the level of knowledge and attitudes of cadres are video media and poster media (P=.000 and P=.001).

Abstract

One of language skills is speaking. Thus, it needs to be improved through appropriate teaching technique such as Debate; using British Parliamentary System. The population of this study consisted of all students who finished Speaking II and IV courses in the Academic Year of 2014-2015. Seventy-five students were chosen as the sample of this study; 32 students were in the control class and 43 students in were in the experimental class. Then, tests were used in collecting the data. The data were then analyzed by using t-test. The result showed that the students of English Study Program of FKIP USM who were taught speaking skill by using Debate with British Parliamentary System received higher score than those who were taught without implementing Debate British Parliamentary System. Based on the findings, the writers recommend that the lecturers can use Debate technique with British Parliamentary System in teaching speaking to improve students speaking skill.

Abstract

this study aims to map various problems in implementing the evaluation of counseling guidance in Indonesia. This study uses a meta-analysis method, the first stage in the research is formulating the problem, and the second stage is the follow-up in the form of tracing the results of research with relevant titles for analysis. Search results of research through Google Scholar, Garuda portal, and repository, so that the sample in this study consists of 17 articles. The data analysis used in this research is described qualitatively. Research result. The results of the mapping of the implementation problems of the evaluation of counseling guidance can be concluded that the reasons behind the non-implementation of the evaluation of counseling guidance in schools are the first lack of understanding of BK teachers on the concept of evaluation of counseling guidance, the second background of BK officers is not from the counseling guidance study program, third there are still schools that do not plan the budget. for the implementation of the BK program, fourth there are still principals and BK personnel who do not play a role, fifth there is still a perception of a negative position from BK teachers regarding BK evaluation, fifth there is no provision of legal formats, and methods, sixth is the lack of training in the evaluation of counseling guidance in school

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan kita. Beberapa model pembelajaran  yang dapat diterapkan guru sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran yang ingin dicapai, tetapi beberapa sekolah tentu masih ada guru yang menerapkan model pembelajaran  kurang tepat dan kurang menarik dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil observasi di MTsN Meuraxa Banda Aceh, memperlihatkan proses pembelajaran IPS didalam kelas cendrung membosankan dan kurang menarik perhatian siswa. Model kooperatif tife talking stick dengan strategi joyful learning merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan prestasi siswa. Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran  kooperatif tipe talking stick dengan strategi joyful learning terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran  IPS kelas VII MTsN Meuraxa Banda Aceh, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan  model pembelajaran  kooperatif tipe talking stick dengan strategi joyful learning dan untuk mengetahui  seberapa besar pengaruhnya terhadap prestasi  belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran  IPS kelas VII MTsN Meuraxa Banda Aceh.  Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas Kelas VII MTsN Meuraxa Banda Aceh. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara tes yang dilakukan hanya tes akhir (post-test), yang digunakan untuk mengetahui aspek kemampuan siswa. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi product moment dan data tersebut diolah dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan prestasi siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih meningkat daripada kelas kontrol. Pada kelas VII-1 (kelas eksperimen) siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan sebesar 92 persen dan kelas VII-2 (kelas kontrol) siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan sebesar 36 persen. Perhitungan korelasi (r) untuk mencari pengaruh antar variabel X dan Y diperoleh hasil sebesar 0,96 yang menunjukkan nilai korelasi yang sangat tinggi dan juga diperoleh hasil dari uji hipotesis (uji-t) yaitu thitung 23,72 dan ttabel 1,67. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan erat antara variabel X (nilai hasil siswa belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran  kooperatif tipe talking stick dengan strategi joyful learning) dan variabel Y (nilai prestasi belajar konvensional). Dari hasil tersebut model pembelajaran  kooperatif tipe talking stick dengan strategi joyful learningmemberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas VII MTsN Meuraxa Banda Aceh.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Kooperatif, Model Pembelajaran Talking Stick, Joyful Learning, Prestasi Belajar.

Abstract

This research intended to figure out the main cause of inhibiting factors in Speaking, the causes of that factor, and how to overcome the problem. Qualitative approach used to conduct the research. The subjects were students of VIII-4 graders at MTs.S Babun Najah Banda Aceh. Some instruments were questionnaire and semi-structured interview guide. The data were analysed qualitative descriptively. The results of questionnaire and interview revealed that three inhibiting factors in speaking English were articulation, lack of motivation, and pronunciation. The most inhibiting factor reached the highest percentage was pronunciation and it was a part of linguistic factors. This factor could be occurred because the students did not recognize the symbols of words. The students faced difficulty when they wanted to pronounce the words correctly, and when it happened the students commonly lost or became a trigger when they expressed their ideas English words are different from how they were written and pronounced. Hence, the students need to learn how to recognize the words’ symbols of English to ease them to make sounds (pronounce) the words consistently. To overcome the problems, this research suggested to the Englis teacher to use Audio-Lingual Method to improve students' pronunciation.

Abstract

This study examines bullying behaviors and their psychological impact on victims in Muhammadiyah elementary schools. Bullying is defined as intentional or unintentional acts of violence, either verbal or physical, carried out by individuals or groups. The research methodology used is a qualitative case study. Data was collected from teachers, principals, and students who were victims of bullying (primary data) as well as journals and books (secondary data). Data collection techniques included interviews and observations. The results of the study showed that two types of bullying occur, namely physical bullying and verbal bullying. The psychological impacts of bullying on victims include decreased self-confidence, anxiety about the surrounding environment, trauma and reluctance to make friends again, embarrassment, speaking softly, and avoiding eye contact, anger that peaks when bad treatment is continuously received. This study is expected to provide a better understanding of bullying and its impact on the psychological well-being of victims, as well as assist in efforts to prevent and combat bullying in schools.
