Abstract

The face recognition-based attendance system is an innovative solution to improve the efficiency and accuracy of student attendance at SMKN 1 Luwu Utara. This study aims to develop and implement a Face Recognition-based attendance system using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm. The research method used is an experimental method with stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. The results show that this attendance system has an accuracy rate of up to 95% in recognizing students' faces, thus reducing the risk of attendance fraud. Additionally, the system provides a seamless and automated way of tracking attendance, eliminating manual errors and reducing administrative workload. The implementation of this system has also received positive responses from the school due to its ease of use and effectiveness in recording attendance data in real-time. The system's ability to integrate with existing school databases further enhances its practicality and usability

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah di SD Negeri Kota Makassar serta mengeksplorasi apakah terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam kemampuan kepemimpinan pembelajaran yang ditinjau dari tingkat pendidikan, jenis kelamin, dan masa kerja kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan uji statistik Chi-Square. Populasi dari penelitian ini berjumlah 150 kepala sekolah, diambil 108 orang sebagai sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan tabel Krejcie dan Morgan yang memudahkan peneliti untuk menentukan ukuran sampel yang representatif dari populasi yang lebih besar. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode sampling kategorial, yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan atas dasar letak geografis tempat ataupun lokasi penelitian dari daerah pinggiran kota dan daerah pusat perkotaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner menggunakan angket dengan skala interval 1-4 yang dirancang untuk mengukur persepsi responden mengenai tiga indikator kepemimpinan pembelajaran, yaitu Menentukan Tujuan Sekolah, Mengelola Program Pembelajaran dan Menciptakan Iklim Pembelajaran yang Positif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum gambaran kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah berada dalam taraf signifikansi yang sangat tinggi atau dalam kategori sangat baik.  Sementara hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada tidak ada perbedaan signifikan dalam kemampuan kepemimpinan pembelajaran berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan, jenis kelamin, dan masa kerja. Kesimpulannya, praktik kepemimpinan pembelajaran di SD Negeri Kota Makassar sangat baik dan tidak dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor struktural seperti tingkat pendidikan, jenis kelamin, maupun masa kerja kepala sekolah.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap kualitas pembangunan sumber daya manusia. Salah satu penentu kualitas pendidikan tersebut adalah peranan dari seorang pengawas sekolah karena memiliki peran yang sangat vital dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah. di Kota Makassar, beberapa pengawas masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam menjalankan supervisi, termasuk keterbatasan dalam penyusunan rencana supervisi berbasis kebutuhan, kesulitan dalam adaptasi terhadap instrumen baru, serta kurangnya keterampilan dalam memberikan umpan balik konstruktif kepada guru. Oleh karena itu, program pelatihan pengembangan kompetensi supervisi akademik berbasis Cohort-Based Learning dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan supervisi para pengawas satuan pendidikan dasar. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, dengan metode diskusi kelompok, simulasi, serta praktik langsung. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pengawas, dengan peningkatan rata-rata skor pre-test dan post-test sebesar 28%. Peningkatan paling signifikan terjadi pada aspek penerapan strategi supervisi berbasis kebutuhan (47%) dan pemahaman konsep supervisi akademik berbasis indikator (41%).

Abstract

AbstractThe water Spinach and morinaga intercropping system is an agricultural  product in the context of increasing farmer income and efforts to fulfill family food. The research was conducted in the Bontoramba sub-district, Sombaopu District, Gowa Regency by sampling in a saturated sample with a total of 36 farmers doing intercropping farming of moringa and kale. The sampled farmers were given questions using a questionnaire guide and conducted group discussion forums (FGD). Data were analyzed using income analysis, and farmers' perceptions of food security (income, available food sources, as well as the level of farmers' knowledge were analyzed in percentage form and strengthened by presentation in verbal form. Income from water spinach farming was Rp.1,896. 178.22/Ha in one growing season, while Moringa farming provides an income of IDR 669,954.91/Ha. Kale farming income is greater than Moringa because the amount of production is greater than Moringa.Meanwhile, farmers' perceptions of food security in terms of income with the system intercropping, they agree by 83.33% that income provides an alternative for farmers to fulfill food in order to support food security Farmers' perceptions of food security in terms of fulfilling food needs, they agree by 100% that intercropping can meet food needs (vegetables) for farmers and lutes price, and nutritional needs are met. Farmers' perceptions of food security in terms of knowledge agree by 77.78% that there are benefits from these two plants being intercropped as vegetables, although there is still a lack of knowledge about the other benefits of kale and moringa plants, as well as more detailed knowledge of the reasons for these two plants being intercroppedKeywords: food security, income, intercropping, kale, moringa

Abstract

Tourism facilities are the completeness of tourist destinations that can meet the needs of tourists in enjoying their tour. Tourism facilities are completeness that must exist in tourist destinations that can serve tourists to enjoy tourist visits. Tourism facilities are also considered as physical elements designed and established to serve visitors. Tourism facilities are divided into three, namely basic, complementary, and supporting tourism facilities. Complementary facilities are facilities with the aim that tourists can be comfortable and stay longer. Forms of complementary facilities include sports facilities, secondary tourism facilities, and other entertainment. The availability of tourism facilities at Pantai Indah Kapu, Sani - Sani village, Samaturu sub-district, Kolaka district, is categorised as moderate. This shows that the value of the public perception of the availability of facilities. The level of visitor satisfaction with Pantai Indah Kapu tourist attraction, categorised as moderate, this affects the public perception of tourist satisfaction.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of brand image and advertising on the purchase decisions of Daihatsu cars at PT. Jujur Jaya Sakti Palopo. Amidst the increasingly fierce competition in the automotive industry, understanding the factors that influence consumer decisions is crucial for companies. A strong brand image can enhance customer loyalty and support business growth, while effective advertising can attract interest and influence consumer purchasing behavior. This research employs a quantitative approach with a survey design, where data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who had purchased Daihatsu cars at PT. Jujur Jaya Sakti Palopo. The analysis results indicate that both brand image and advertising have a significant impact on purchase decisions, with brand image contributing more significantly. These findings provide important implications for the development of marketing strategies, particularly in brand image management and the optimization of advertising campaigns. Furthermore, this study highlights the importance for companies to strengthen their brand image through various efforts such as improving product quality, after-sales services, and engagement in social activities that can enhance positive consumer perceptions. Additionally, the optimization of advertising, which includes the selection of appropriate media, relevant messaging, and suitable advertising frequency, should also be considered to maximize the impact on consumer purchase decisions. Overall, the results of this study are expected to serve as a guide for PT. Jujur Jaya Sakti Palopo in formulating more effective and efficient marketing strategies, enabling them to compete with other players in the automotive industry.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan dan dampak kegiatan Kelas Inspirasi di sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam hal cita-cita siswa, minat terhadap profesi, dan pembentukan karakter kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa telah memiliki cita-cita dan arah masa depan yang jelas, didorong oleh keinginan untuk membanggakan orang tua, membantu sesama, serta ketertarikan terhadap profesi tertentu seperti guru, dokter, polisi, hingga profesi modern seperti youtuber dan pengusaha. Siswa menunjukkan minat tinggi terhadap berbagai profesi dan proses pencapaian karier, serta merespons positif kegiatan Kelas Inspirasi yang menghadirkan profesional ke sekolah. Mereka menyukai sesi berbagi pengalaman, tanya jawab interaktif, permainan edukatif, dan berharap kegiatan ini dilakukan secara rutin. Kunjungan ke tempat kerja nyata juga dinilai sangat bermanfaat dalam membangun pemahaman kontekstual tentang dunia kerja. Selain itu, keterlibatan orang tua dan guru dalam bimbingan karier dianggap penting untuk memperkuat motivasi dan perencanaan masa depan siswa. Dalam aspek karakter kerja, siswa menunjukkan apresiasi terhadap nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, disiplin, kerja keras, kemandirian, tanggung jawab, kreativitas, dan rasa ingin tahu. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa siswa tidak hanya antusias terhadap kegiatan Kelas Inspirasi, tetapi juga menyadari pentingnya perencanaan karier dan pembentukan karakter profesional sejak dini.  Kata Kunci: Analisis Kebutuhan, Sekolah Inspirasi, Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

SPNF SKB is a government-owned non-formal educational institution that provides equivalency education services (Packages A, B, and C), courses, and skills training for the community. This study aims to evaluate the Equivalency Education Programs A, B, and C at SPNF SKB in Makassar City, especially SPNF SKB Ujung Pandang using the CIPPOO Model ( Context, Input, Process, Product, Output, Outcomes) . The research method used is qualitative with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that (1) in the context aspect, the three units have a clear legal basis, goals, and objectives that are relevant to the needs of the community, (2) in the input aspect, human resources, infrastructure, and budget support are classified as good and very adequate and according to standards, (3) in the process aspect, program planning and implementation are running well although there are still some technical obstacles, (4) in the product aspect, SPNF SKB graduates are proven to have academic, skills and social competencies, (5) in the output aspect, it has a real impact on children's readiness to enter higher education. (5) In terms of outcome, the A, B, and C equivalency education program has a positive impact on students, namely the success of students in continuing their education at the best universities in Makassar City.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of the governance of higher education institutions with Public Service Agency (BLU) and Work Unit (SATKER) status using the CIPPO (Context–Input–Process–Product–Outcome) evaluation model. The study locations include UNHAS, UNM, and UINAM as BLU PTNs, and UNG and POLIMDO as SATKER PTNs. The study used a mixed-method approach through document analysis, a survey of 150 respondents, and interviews with eight key informants. The results show that BLU universities excel in Input, Process, Product, and Outcome aspects due to the flexibility of PNBP management, accelerated decision-making, and higher innovation capabilities. In contrast, SATKER universities have the strength of regulatory stability, but are less adaptive in responding to changes in the higher education environment. These findings support the theories of Adaptive Governance, Agile University, and Dynamic Capability, which indicate that governance flexibility is a key factor in increasing the competitiveness of higher education institutions in the era of digital transformation. The study recommends the need for bureaucratic reform and increased flexibility for SATKER universities to improve their performance and competitiveness

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the educational management of SMA Zion Makassar using the CIPPO evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product, Outcome). The model was chosen because it provides a comprehensive framework for assessing the effectiveness of school management from planning and implementation to outcomes and long-term impacts on students and society. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method with data obtained through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results indicate that in terms of context, SMA Zion Makassar possesses a strong vision and mission emphasizing Christian character formation and global competitiveness, supported by high community interest and parental involvement. Regarding input, the school’s human resources and facilities are adequate, although several teachers have not yet obtained professional certification. The process dimension shows well-structured learning activities with regular supervision and evaluation, beginning with daily worship as a distinctive feature of the institution. The product dimension reflects competitive academic and non-academic achievements, while the outcome dimension demonstrates that many graduates pursue higher education both domestically and abroad. The study concludes that SMA Zion Makassar has implemented effective educational management, yet further improvement is required in teacher professional development and diversification of funding sources
