Abstract

This research aimed at finding out the effect of Pop-Up Book learning media toward student learning motivation in Social Science learning at Islamic Junior High School of Al-Muttaqin Pekanbaru. This research was instigated with the low of student learning motivation such as students who were less enthusiastic in learning and the lack of learning encouragement. Quantitative approach was used in this research with quasi-experiment method. 255 the seventh-grade students were the population of this research. Purposive sampling was used in this research. The samples used in this research were 68 students. The techniques of collecting data were observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The techniques of analyzing data were quantitative descriptive test, normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test, effect size test, and N-gain score test. Based on the research findings and data analyses, Pop-Up Book learning media could affect student learning motivation. It could be proven with the calculation results that the score of fobserved 4.335 was higher than tobe 1.668, and the score of significance 0.000 was lower than 0.05, so He was accepted, and Ho was rejected. The percentage of the effect of Pop-Up Book learning media toward student learning motivation from effect size calculation was 0.53 (0.53%) with moderate effect category.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has brought fundamental changes to various aspects of society, particularly in social, economic, and ethical dimensions. The emergence of the internet, artificial intelligence, social media, and other digital platforms has accelerated the flow of information, improved work efficiency, and created new opportunities in education and the economy. However, these advancements have also generated serious challenges, including the digital divide, violations of privacy, data security threats, the spread of misinformation, and excessive dependence on technology. This study aims to analyze the impact of digital technology on social, economic, and ethical aspects of society through a library research approach by reviewing relevant scholarly literature. The findings indicate that digital technology provides significant benefits for societal development, yet it requires careful management to minimize its negative consequences. Therefore, collaboration among governments, academics, and society is essential to ensure the responsible and sustainable use of digital technology. Abstract

Background: Transformasi digital menjadi kebutuhan strategis bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk meningkatkan daya saing di tengah perubahan perilaku konsumen dan perkembangan ekonomi berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan pemasaran berbasis teknologi pada pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Indramayu, Kabupaten Bogor, dan Kota Tangerang Selatan. Metode: Metode yang digunakan merupakan kombinasi pendidikan masyarakat, pelatihan, konsultasi, difusi ipteks, dan pendampingan melalui sosialisasi literasi digital, pelatihan penggunaan marketplace Shopee, pembuatan konten promosi, serta pendampingan implementasi pemasaran digital. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital, ditandai dengan kemampuan peserta membuat dan mengelola akun marketplace secara mandiri, menyusun konten promosi yang lebih menarik, serta meningkatnya motivasi untuk beradaptasi dengan teknologi. Dampak kegiatan terlihat pada perluasan jangkauan pemasaran, peningkatan efisiensi promosi, dan terbentuknya akun bisnis digital yang aktif. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan PKM ini efektif dalam menjawab permasalahan rendahnya literasi dan keterampilan pemasaran digital UMKM, serta berkontribusi dalam mendorong penguatan ekonomi lokal melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital secara berkelanjutan.
