Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penggunaan metode picture and picture melalui storytelling terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar menulis sakubun pada mahasiswa prodi sastra Jepang Universitas Pakuan. Berdasarkan hasil angket dari 25 responden 60% menjawab bahwa penggunaan metode picture and picture melalui storytelling pada matakuliah sakubun, dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar sakubun. Metode Picture and picture merupakan model pembelajaran yang mengunakan gambar-gambar yang disusun dan digabungkan menjadi sebuah karangan. Picture and picture  merupakan metode yang dapat membuat kemampuan seseorang dalam mengarang meningkat. Sedangkan mendongeng merupakan akvitas oral yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan seseorang dalam berbicara dan juga menulis.  Ada pun  rumusan  masalah dalam penelitian ini meliputi  metode picture and picture melalui storytelling, kendala menulis sakubun menggunakan metode picture and  picture melalui storytelling, dan  pendapat mahasiswa mengenai penggunaan metode picture and picture melalui storytelling. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek   dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 22 mahasiswa, dan  merupakan  mahasiswa semester 4 prodi sastra Jepang Universitas Pakuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui angket dan wawancara menggunakan google form. Hasil dari penelitian ini, ada peningkatan motivasi belajar sakubun dibanding sebelum menggunakan metode picture and picture melalui storytelling. Setelah menggunakan metode picture and picture melalui storytelling kemampuan mengarang mahasiswa meningkat, mahasiwa menjadi percaya diri dalam menulis karangan bahasa Jepang, serta mampu mempresentasikan hasil karangannya dengan  baik dan berani  di depan kelas, maupun melalui video rekaman yang diupload di youtube chanel masing-masing mahasiswa. Diharapkan untuk penelitian selanjutnya,  metode picture and picture melalui storytelling dapat diterapkan  dalam mata kuliah bunpou.

Abstract

This study aims is to: (1) Determine LPK Matsushita Gobel Foundation Jakarta participants ability to speak Japanese before using interview method. (2) Determine Pakuan University participant’s ability to speak in Japanese before using interview method. (3) Knowing the differences of LPK Matsushita Gobel Foundation Jakarta participant’s ability to speak Japanese before and after using the interview method. (4) Determine whether the method can improve the LPK Matsushita Gobel Foundation Jakarta participant’s ability to speak Japanese or not. (5) Gain feedback from LPK Matsushita Gobel Foundation Jakarta participants towards this method. This research is a class action, using a quasi-experiment which focuses on one sample class. The research instrument consists pretest and post-test, questionnaires, and interviews. The result of those interviews are reported in front of the class into a series of stories. By this method of interview, not only the participants are able to have conversations with many people, but the participants were able to reiterated the interview results to the class and done in a way such as giving a speech.

Abstract

This study examines the role of women in chanoyu or the Japanese tea ceremony contained in the novel "The Life An Amarous Man" by Ihara Saikaku. This novel tells how the role of women (maids) in entertaining guests, making tea and attracting guests to come to the "tea house" or tea house. Chanoyu, in this novel, takes place in a tea house where the servants are a woman (maid). Chanoyu is one of the Japanese tea drinking cultures that is still preserved. Japan is rich in various traditional cultures still practised today, one of which is the chanoyu culture. Chanoyu is a literary activity in culture. So that chanoyu is very closely related to literature because, in the Chanoyu process, there are noble values, such as Japanese ritual activities, which are very sacred and have stages as elements in the Japanese teachings of patience and tenacity well as never giving up. These noble values ​​are part of literature. The formulation of the problem in this study relates to the role of women as maids in the tea house, and the position of the tea house is identical to chanoyu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pemanfaatan website pembelajaran bahasa Jepang dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Bahasa Jepang merupakan salah satu bahasa asing yang banyak di pelajari di dunia termasuk di Indonesia. Ada banyak website pembelajaran bahasa Jepang, sehingga memudahkan para pembelajar maupun pengajar mengakses berbagai materi yang terdapat dalam website tersebut. Melalui website pembelajaran siswa dapat menjadi mandiri dalam belajar, tidak tergantung dengan guru dan bahan ajar saja. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari꞉(1) apakah penggunaan website pembelajaran Jepang dapat meningkatkan kemandirian siswa? (2) website pembelajaran bahasa Jepang apa saja yang digunakan mahasiswa dan dosen? (3) manfaat apa yang diperoleh mahasiswa dari penggunaan website pembelajaran bahasa Jepang? (4) apa kelebihan dan kekurangan website pembelajaran bahasa Jepang? Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: ꞉(1) mengetahui apakah penggunaan website pembelajaran Jepang dapat meningkatkan kemandirian siswa (2) mengetahui website pembelajaran bahasa Jepang apa saja yang digunakan mahasiswa dan dosen (3) mengetahui manfaat apa yang diperoleh mahasiswa dari penggunaan website pembelajaran bahasa Jepang (4) mengetahui apa kelebihan dan kekurangan website pembelajaran bahasa Jepang. Metode yang digunakan pendekatan kualitatif, responden penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dan dosen sastra Jepang dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan membagikan angket berupa kalimat pernyataan dan pertanyaan menggunakan google form. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapat hasil bahwa penggunaan website pembelajaran bahasa Jepang dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the level of effectiveness and how students respond to the use of drama as a teaching method in the Kaiwa 1 course. Teaching Japanese speaking skills is aimed at improving speaking or communication skills, increasing proficiency in the use of vocabulary, deepening the application of grammar, and perfecting pronunciation., as well as practicing the ability to listen to what is heard from the person you are talking to. In this research, drama will be used as a teaching method for kaiwa. In drama, creativity is needed from both the teacher and students. Teachers must come up with ideas adapted to the conversation themes being studied in the Minna no Nihongo textbook. Apart from that, students also must be creative in developing conversation themes. The research method used in this research is a mixed method. The type of research is pure experimentation. The population and sample in this research were 25 first semester students of the Japanese literature study program, class 1A. The instruments in this research consisted of a pretest, treatment in the form of training and drama performances, posttest and questionnaires. Data collection was carried out by processing the results of the pretest and posttest, as well as distributing questionnaires in the form of questions to the students who the research samples were. The results of this research are expected to improve the ability to speak Japanese at elementary level students. Keywords: Drama; effectiveness; Japanese kaiwa; speaking ability

Abstract

Mastering kanji is a challenge for anyone studying the Japanese language. Due to its intricate nature, many students perceive kanji as an intimidating topic. The students' struggle with comprehending kanji directly impacts their ability to understand words written in kanji. Consequently, kids lack comprehension of the reading (dokkai) due to the abundance of kanji words inside it. To tackle this issue, it is necessary to develop a pedagogical paradigm that promotes cooperation among students, enabling them to effectively overcome challenges related to kanji. The TGT (Teams Games Tournament) model is a collaborative learning model that incorporates groups consisting of 3 to 5 individuals. The research aims to investigate the extent of your proficiency in mastering the JLPT N4 kanji vocabulary prior to utilizing the TGT (Teams Game Tournament) model. What is your proficiency in learning the JLPT N4 kanji vocabulary like after utilizing the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) approach? What is the students' response to studying kanji using the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) model? The research methodology employed is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The research focused on a population of 3rd semester students, consisting of a total of 22 individuals. The data gathering methods employed in this study involved the utilization of questionnaires and interviews conducted using Google Form. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique employs descriptive statistics to assess pretest and posttest scores. The findings of this study demonstrated a notable improvement in students' proficiency of JLPT N4 kanji vocabulary after the implementation of the TGT (Teams Game Tournament) cooperative learning paradigm.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Bahasa merupakan sistem lambang bunyi yang dipergunakan oleh seluruh elemen masyarakat dalam bekerja sama, berinteraksi, serta mengidentifikasikan diri. Pragmatik adalah cabang ilmu bahasa yang mempelajari struktur bahasa secara eksternal, yakni bagaimana satuan kebahasaan itu digunakan di dalam komunikasi.Penelitian ini membahas mengenai jenis-jenis tindak tutur perlokusi yang terdapat dalam serial animasi Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata. Fokus utama pada skripsi ini ialah untuk mengidentifikasi dialog pada serial animasi yang masuk ke dalam tiga jenis tindak tutur perlokusi menurut Alston serta lima klasifikasi tindak ilokusi menurut Searle. Teori yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah teori pragmatik yang mengkaji mengenai apa yang dimaksudkan oleh seseorang dalam tuturannya ketika berkomunikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Simpulannya adalah dalam serial animasi Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata ditemukan ketiga jenis tindak perlokusi yang diklasifikasikan oleh Alston serta ditemukan empat jenis tindak ilokusi yang diklasifikasikan oleh Searle.Kata Kunci: Pragmatik, tindak tutur, PerlokusiABSTRACT: Language is a system of sound symbols used by all elements of society, in working together, interacting, and identifying themselves. Pragmatics is a branch of linguistics that studies the external structure of language, namely how language units are used in communication.This research discusses about dialogues that contain perlocutionary speech acts in animated series tittled Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata. The main focus of this thesis is to identify dialogues in the animated series that fall into three perlocutionary speech acts classification by Alston and five illocutionary speech acts qualification by Searle. The theory used in this thesis is a pragmatic theory which examines what a person means in his speech when communicating. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. In conclusion, in the Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata animated series found all the three classification of perlocutionary speech acts by Alston and four types of illocutionary speech acts qualification by Searle.Keyword : Pragmatic, speech acts, perlocution

Abstract

This research discusses the  using Marugoto teaching materials among Pakuan University Communication Science study program students. Recently, the number of Japanese language learners in Indonesia has increased. As the number of students increases, there is a need for teaching materials that can make it easier for students to learn. The formulation of the problem in this research is: (1) Can the use of Marugoto teaching materials for Communication Science Study Program students increase motivation to learn Japanese? (2) What are the opinions of Communication Science Study Program students regarding learning Japanese using Marugoto teaching materials? The aims of this research are: (1) to determine the use of Marugoto teaching materials for Communication Science Study Program students to increase motivation to learn Japanese, (2) to find out the opinions of Communication Science Study Program students regarding learning Japanese using Marugoto teaching materials. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were students of the communication science study program concentrating on broadcasting and journalism. Data collection techniques were via Google form, and analyzed qualitatively descriptively. The results of this research show an increase in motivation to learn Japanese.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of using the website "tanoshiijapanese.com on the ability to master kanji. At the beginning of 2020 a virus emerged that shocked the whole world, namely the corona virus. This virus first appeared in the city of Wuhan, China in December 2019. However, this virus quickly spread throughout the world and attacked all lines or sectors, such as: Education, economy, health, trade and others. One of the sectors that is greatly affected by this virus is education. This sector is one of the toughest apart from the health sector. Because more and more people are being exposed to this virus, all heads of state around the world are changing the learning system from face-to-face to online. The formulation of the problem in this research is: (1) Can the use of the website "tanoshiijapanese.com" improve students' writing skills during distance learning?, (2) Can the use of the website "tanoshiijapanese.com" improve students' writing skills during learning? remotely? The objectives of this research include: (1) Does the website "tanoshiijapanese.com" improve your ability to write kanji during distance learning? (2) Do you know that the website "tanoshiijapanse.com" can improve your ability to read kanji during distance learning? The research method used in this research is quantitative desktop, the population and sample in this research are 22 students from the Japanese language and culture study program at Darma Persada University, Jakarta. From this research, the results were obtained that the website "tanoshiijapanese.com" can improve writing and reading skills during online/distance learning.
