Abstract

Economics is treated effectively by standard economics. In spatial economics, the interaction between Agglomeration Forces, which attract economic activity to a particular region, and Dispersion Forces, which spread economic activity throughout the surrounding region, determines the geographic distribution of economic activity. Spatial Economic Analysis will provide an understanding of how space (distance) influences economic behavior referring to each type of economic entity. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method. Multivariate analysis is used in analyzing research, involving variables in a number more than or equal to three variables. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method. Multivariate analysis is used in analyzing research, involving variables in a number more than or equal to three variables. Development policies must be tailored to specific regions to encourage local production and innovative networks and make the manufacturing industry more competitive. The populations of most cities in urban agglomerations are still spread out. Although urban populations tend to cluster around a few sub-central urban units, the trend is toward population agglomeration around urban centers. The decline in technological progress and technological efficiency will affect the spatial structure of urban agglomeration and influence economic efficiency.

Abstract

Understanding the degree of regional autonomy in funding development and government operations by raising the possibility of regional revenue is a crucial component of putting regional autonomy authority into practice. The degree of regional financial independence indicates how well the regional government has been able to boost local financial capability and lessen reliance on financial aid from the federal government. In order to determine the direct and indirect impacts between variables, this study used the route analysis data analysis method (route Analysis) with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) software version 29. Path analysis is chosen in this study because it enables testing of the theoretical applicability of the methodology employed, which is the causal relationship approach. Path analysis is a useful tool for analyzing more complex models than multiple linear regression can handle. The government is projected to be able to implement strategic policy initiatives in an effort to raise Regional Original Income, which serves as a source of funding for capital expenditures.

Cancer remains a significant health issue worldwide, including in Indonesia. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women. At the Dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital, there were 287 cases of breast cancer in 2020, with 12 deaths; 175 cases in 2021, with 10 deaths; and 160 cases in 2022, with 8 deaths. This study aims to determine the relationship between family medical history and the incidence of breast cancer at Dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital, Banda Aceh. This research is a survey study with a case-control design. The case sample in this study includes women with breast cancer at Dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital, Banda Aceh, while the control sample comprises women without breast cancer at the same hospital. A total of 47 cases and 47 controls were selected using Consecutive Sampling. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire, and data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test. The results indicate that there is a relationship between the age of having the first child and the incidence of breast cancer. The statistical test yielded a p-value of < 0.002, indicating a significant relationship between the age of having the first child and the incidence of breast cancer. The analysis also produced an Odds Ratio (OR) of 3.938 with a 95% Confidence Interval (CI) of 1.534 – 9.438. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the age of having the first child and the incidence of breast cancer. It is recommended that all women perform Breast Self-Examination (BSE), as breast cancer can still be treated if detected in its early stages

Abstract

The pregnancy period is part of the Window of Opportunity period. Throughout the pregnancy stage, pregnant women need to consume more food than before, the right food pattern, as well as a balanced intake of macronutrients. The nutritional status of pregnant women is determined by the consumption patterns of pregnant women before and during pregnancy. The percentage of energy and nutrient consumption of pregnant women in Indonesia in 2018 based on Nutrition (PSG), namely, energy consumption was only 73.6%, protein was 86.4%, carbohydrates were 76.8% and fat was 70%. Based on provinces in Indonesia, energy consumption among pregnant women is lowest, namely in the provinces of Maluku (48.5%), Lampung (58.6%), Papua (61%) and Aceh (64.1%). Consumption patterns can be influenced by several factors, including knowledge, attitudes and behavior of pregnant women. One effort to increase knowledge of pregnant women is education using poster media which can increase a person's knowledge. The aim of this research is to measure the effect of counseling about consumption patterns using poster media on the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of pregnant women in the South Kluet Health Center Work Area. This research is quantitative research with pre-experimental methods. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in the South Kluet Health Center Working Area in 2024. The population in this study was all pregnant women in the South Kluet Health Center Working Area with a total of 42 people. The sampling technique in this research was Total Sampling, namely 42 people. From the results of the T test statistical research, there is an effect of counseling using poster media on knowledge, attitudes and behavior with p value results, knowledge has a sig-α of 0.000, attitude has a sig-α of 0.000 and attitude has a sig-α of 0.000, which means that there is a difference between knowledge, attitudes and behavior before and after being given counseling using poster media. The suggestion in this research is that it is hoped that it can be used as evaluation material in an effort to increase mothers' knowledge about healthy food consumption patterns and according to the needs of pregnant women so that their babies grow and develop healthily and the mother's nutrition is maintained at the South Kluet Health Center in the future

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of MSME credit and government assistance on MSME growth and reducing poverty rates in Balikpapan City. The analytical tool used is path analysis. Path analysis is an analytical method used in research to test the influence of independent variables on dependent variables, including indirect influences through mediating intervening variables. This method is more complex than ordinary regression analysis and requires in-depth understanding. The analysis application used in this research is the SPSS v25 application. The results of research on the provision of banking credit on the growth of MSMEs in Balikpapan City have a positive and significant effect. It can be concluded that banking in Balikpapan City can grow and develop MSMEs in Balikpapan City. Providing Bank Credit to Poverty Alleviation has no direct and insignificant effect, this means that the contribution of providing credit cannot necessarily reduce the poverty rate in Balikpapan City. The Balikpapan City Government's assistance for the growth of MSMEs is positive and significant, this means that the assistance is very effective in directly developing the growth of MSMEs in Balikpapan City. Balikpapan City Government's assistance to the poverty level in Balikpapan City is negative and significant. It can be concluded that the Balikpapan City Government's policy instrument by providing assistance to MSMEs will be able to reduce the poverty rate in Balikpapan City. It can be concluded that the growth of MSMEs in Balikpapan City has a negative effect on reducing the poverty rate, meaning that the more MSMEs grow, the poverty rate will decrease.

Abstract

Regional development, as an integral part of national development, aims to optimize the utilization of human resources and other potential resources. One crucial factor in the success of regional development is the availability of adequate financial resources, which include general allocation funds, special allocation funds, central government balancing funds, and locally sourced revenues. This study analyzes the acceptance of Local Revenue (PAD) in Samarinda City by examining factors such as public expenditure, private investment, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and per capita income. Using a multiple linear regression analysis method with time-series data from 2013 to 2023, the study finds that public expenditure has a positive but insignificant effect on PAD, while private investment, GRDP, and per capita income have a significant positive impact on PAD. The findings suggest that increasing local investment, economic growth, and per capita income can enhance the financial independence of Samarinda City. The study highlights the importance of policy formulation aimed at improving local revenue management and reducing dependency on central government transfers.
