Abstract

Stunting, also known as short toddler syndrome, is the most prevalent type of malnutrition (PE/micronutrients), which affects infants before and shortly after birth and causes their height to be out of proportion to their age. A chronic nutritional issue that results in stunting in children is insufficient dietary intake. Stunting needs special care because it can harm children's mental development and increase their risk of dying. One effort to build knowledge and skills in aiding in the resolution of dietary challenges is counseling training on Infant and Child Feeding (IYCF). The problem of stunting often arises due to a lack of knowledge and skills in meeting the nutritional needs of toddlers. “The global prevalence of stunting in the world, including in Indonesia, is still high”. To increase the community's knowledge and skills to deal with nutritional problems independently. Literature study by comparing 20 publications with similar subject matter related to knowledge and procedures of eating babies and kids and to the rate of stunting. From 9 relevant journals it was stated that Infant and Child Feeding affected increasing mothers' knowledge in preventing stunting. There is an influence of “Infant and Child Feeding (PMBA) on the incidence of stunting.

Abstract

The pregnancy period is part of the Window of Opportunity period. Throughout the pregnancy stage, pregnant women need to consume more food than before, the right food pattern, as well as a balanced intake of macronutrients. The nutritional status of pregnant women is determined by the consumption patterns of pregnant women before and during pregnancy. The percentage of energy and nutrient consumption of pregnant women in Indonesia in 2018 based on Nutrition (PSG), namely, energy consumption was only 73.6%, protein was 86.4%, carbohydrates were 76.8% and fat was 70%. Based on provinces in Indonesia, energy consumption among pregnant women is lowest, namely in the provinces of Maluku (48.5%), Lampung (58.6%), Papua (61%) and Aceh (64.1%). Consumption patterns can be influenced by several factors, including knowledge, attitudes and behavior of pregnant women. One effort to increase knowledge of pregnant women is education using poster media which can increase a person's knowledge. The aim of this research is to measure the effect of counseling about consumption patterns using poster media on the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of pregnant women in the South Kluet Health Center Work Area. This research is quantitative research with pre-experimental methods. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in the South Kluet Health Center Working Area in 2024. The population in this study was all pregnant women in the South Kluet Health Center Working Area with a total of 42 people. The sampling technique in this research was Total Sampling, namely 42 people. From the results of the T test statistical research, there is an effect of counseling using poster media on knowledge, attitudes and behavior with p value results, knowledge has a sig-α of 0.000, attitude has a sig-α of 0.000 and attitude has a sig-α of 0.000, which means that there is a difference between knowledge, attitudes and behavior before and after being given counseling using poster media. The suggestion in this research is that it is hoped that it can be used as evaluation material in an effort to increase mothers' knowledge about healthy food consumption patterns and according to the needs of pregnant women so that their babies grow and develop healthily and the mother's nutrition is maintained at the South Kluet Health Center in the future

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to investigate the impact of Instagram promotions on consumer buying interest specifically within the context of coffee trips. The study seeks to understand how social media marketing can effectively attract consumers and enhance their purchasing decisions. Research Methodology: The research utilizes a quantitative approach, employing a non-probability sampling technique. Specifically, a purposive sampling method was used to select respondents who are active Instagram users and have shown interest in coffee-related content. A total of 91 respondents participated in the study, providing data through structured questionnaires. Results: The analysis of the collected data reveals that Instagram promotions significantly and positively influence consumer buying interest. This suggests that effective marketing strategies on social media can lead to increased consumer engagement and purchasing behavior in the coffee sector. Limitations: The study is constrained by its focus on a specific group of Instagram users, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. Additionally, the research does not account for other factors that may influence consumer buying behavior outside of social media marketing. Contribution: This research contributes to the broader understanding of social media marketing's role in consumer behavior. It highlights the effectiveness of Instagram as a promotional platform in the coffee industry, providing insights for marketers seeking to leverage social media to enhance consumer interest and drive sales.

Abstract

Stunting is a health problem that is still a concern in Indonesia, including in Panton Village, Nisam District, North Aceh. This village has a fairly high stunting rate, influenced by various factors such as exclusive breastfeeding, maternal knowledge, and family support. This study aims to analyze the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding, maternal knowledge, and family support on the incidence of stunting in Panton Village. The study used an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach and involved 30 respondents selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting (p = 0.003). In addition, maternal knowledge was also related to the incidence of stunting (p = 0.005). Family support also had a significant relationship to the incidence of stunting (p = 0.001). In conclusion, exclusive breastfeeding, maternal knowledge, and family support play an important role in preventing stunting. Therefore, it is suggested to health workers, especially the health promotion and nutrition division, to improve education for mothers and families regarding the importance of exclusive breastfeeding, balanced nutrition, and parenting patterns that support optimal child growth.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is one of the preventive efforts in maintaining individual health, with washing hands with soap (CTPS) as one of its main aspects. Elementary school children are among the groups that are vulnerable to disease due to lack of awareness of cleanliness, so socialization is needed to increase their understanding of the importance of CTPS. This study aims to socialize PHBS and how to do CTPS to students of SD 7 Nisam, North Aceh, through interactive educational methods. The activities were carried out by presenting material using PowerPoint, interactive discussions, direct practice of the six steps of CTPS according to WHO standards, and evaluation through questionnaires before and after the activity. The results of the activity showed that the method applied succeeded in increasing students' understanding of the importance of washing hands with soap. Students were more enthusiastic in participating in activities when given an interesting approach that was appropriate for their age. In addition, the involvement of teachers and schools in providing supporting facilities contributed to the success of this program. With this socialization, it is hoped that students can apply the habit of washing their hands independently and consistently, both at school and at home, so that it can reduce the incidence of infectious diseases related to hand hygiene.

Abstract

Nations across Southeast Asia are grappling with the challenge of enhancing tax compliance to fund national development. This study addresses this issue by examining the divergent policy pathways for high school tax education in two neighboring countries: Indonesia and Malaysia. While both nations recognize the importance of cultivating tax awareness among youth, their approaches to curriculum integration differ significantly. This study employed a qualitative comparative policy analysis. The research systematically examined and contrasted official policy documents from Indonesia’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) and the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP), with those from Malaysia’s Ministry of Education (KPM) and the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM). The analysis focused on four key dimensions: policy rationale, curricular placement, institutional collaboration, and implementation strategy. Data was sourced from national curriculum frameworks, ministerial decrees, tax authority publications, and strategic plans issued between 2019 and 2024. A thematic analysis was conducted to identify and compare the core characteristics of each nation's approach. The analysis revealed two distinct models. Malaysia has pursued a formal, centralized integration model, embedding tax education as a mandatory topic within the Form 5 Mathematics curriculum since 2021. This ensures universal and systematic delivery by teachers. In contrast, Indonesia has adopted an emerging, decentralized model characterized by extracurricular outreach programs, such as Pajak Bertutur, led by the DJP. While Indonesia's new Kurikulum Merdeka presents significant opportunities for formal integration, its implementation remains ad-hoc and dependent on regional initiatives. Malaysia’s strategy offers a clear model of systemic integration that Indonesia could learn from. However, Indonesia’s Kurikulum Merdeka and its emphasis on project-based learning provide a unique opportunity to embed tax education more holistically as a component of civic and economic literacy, rather than solely as a mathematical exercise. The study concludes that for Indonesia to advance its tax education agenda, a more robust and operational partnership between the DJP and Kemendikbudristek is essential to transition from sporadic outreach to sustainable, curriculum-integrated education.

Abstract

This research aims to provide education on the dangers of smoking to adolescents at SDN 1 Sawang, Sawang District, North Aceh Regency. Smoking among adolescents is on the rise, which has negative impacts on physical and social health. This study uses a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pre-test and Post-test design to measure changes in adolescent knowledge after receiving counselling. This activity focuses on providing understanding about the dangers of smoking, the harmful chemical content in cigarets, and their impact on both active and passive smokers. The survey results show a significant increase in students' understanding of the negative impacts of smoking, particularly regarding the dangers to lung health, the risk of cancer, and the impact on those around them. Although some knowledge related to lung cancer remains stable, awareness of smoking cessation efforts and healthy behavior changes has increased. This education has proven effective in broadening students' horizons and raising their awareness of the dangers of smoking, with a particular focus on the adolescent age group, which is vulnerable to this habit.

Abstract

Settler-colonial archives have historically functioned as instruments of state power, perpetuating narratives that erase or marginalize Indigenous peoples' histories, knowledges, and sovereignties. This study investigated the growing phenomenon of contemporary Indigenous artistic interventions within these institutions, framing them as critical acts of "curating dissent" that challenge the archival claim to objective truth. This research employed a qualitative, comparative case study methodology to analyze three distinct, institutionally-sanctioned artistic interventions in major settler-colonial archives in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand between 2020 and 2024. A multi-modal data collection strategy included visual analysis of the artworks, textual analysis of archival records, and thematic analysis of 25 semi-structured interviews with artists, curators, and community members. The analysis revealed three primary strategies of intervention: (1) "Re-contextualization and Juxtaposition," which disrupts colonial classifications by placing Indigenous epistemologies alongside archival records; (2) "Embodied Knowledge and Affective Encounters," which uses performance and sensory elements to reanimate ancestral connections within the archive; and (3) "Digital Sovereignty and Archival Remixing," which leverages digital tools to reclaim and re-narrate colonial documents. Institutional responses ranged from enthusiastic collaboration to forms of negotiated resistance and containment. In conclusion, within the specific context of sanctioned projects, Indigenous artistic interventions function as potent decolonial practices that create new spaces for Indigenous knowledge and memory to flourish. This study proposes the concept of "Archival Acupuncture," a theoretical framework for understanding how these targeted, therapeutic interventions can systemically alter the narrative body of the archive to foster restorative justice. These acts signal a critical shift, demanding archives become active partners in a more just future.
