Abstract

Salah satu sistem komunikasi yang merupakan andalan bagi terselenggaranya integrasi sistem telekomunikasi secara global adalah sistem komunikasi nir-kabel. Teknologi nirkabel banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat karena harganya yang sangat terjangkau. Tingginya kebutuhan internet pada perkembangan zaman pada saat ini untuk menunjang efektifitas dan efisiensi pengguna terutama pada saat ini dunia khususnya Indonesia sedang  dilanda musibah corona virus19 (covid19) yang mengharuskan semua menghentikan aktifitas normal, sehingga aktifitas bekerja sekolah maupun perkuliahan mahasiswa yang biasanya dilakukan tatap muka diganti secara daring (dalam jaringan) yang dilakukan dari rumah masing-masing. Akan tetapi perkembangan informasi tersebut tidak dapat dirasakan bagi masyarakat khususnya yang tinggal di area sinyal yang tidak stabil, sehingga sangat mengganggu aktifitas belajar mengajar mahasiswa yang di lakukan secara daring karena sulitnya mengakses jaringan internet di area yang tidak stabil tersebut khususnya di Desa Siak Kampung Jawa tengah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merancang dan mengiplementasikan antena kaleng di desa siak kampung jawa tengah supaya berguna bagi masyarakat disana sebagai penunjang akses belajar mengajar di masa pandemi ini. Hasil dari pengukuran antena Kaleng dilakukan pada lokasi yang telah ditetapkan, lokasi yang telah ditetapkan berjarak 5 hingga 7 km dari lokasi BTS Telkomsel, XL dan Smartfren dengan asumsi di lokasi tersebut masih bisa menerima sinyal 4G namun level dayanya sangat rendah dan tidak dapat menerima sinyal internet dengan baik jika menggunakan antena Kaleng dapat menerima sinyal internet yang cukup. Antena Kaleng digunakan sebagai penguat jaringan internet dengan dengan mengubah jaringan GSM yang berfrekuensi 1850 MHz menjadi sinyal Mi-Fi yang berfrekuensi 2415 MHz. Pada saat pengujian kecepatan internet menggunakan aplikasi Speedtest untuk mendapatkan nilai parameter RSSI, jitter, download dan upload. Hasil dari pengukuran menggunakan aplikasi Speedtest dengan ketinggian 10 meter dari 3 kartu yang berbeda Telkomsel, XL dan Smartfren. Nilai parameter menggunakan kartu Telkomsel pada antena Kaleng Ping  sebesar 54ms dengan nilai jitter 4 ms  kecepatan download sebesar 34,0Mbps dan kecepatan upload 0,66 Mbps, nilai parameter menggunakan kartu XL pada antena Kaleng, Ping  sebesar 83ms dengan nilai jitter 137 ms  kecepatan download sebesar 4,23Mbps dan kecepatan upload 0,06 Mbps, dan nilai parameter menggunakan kartu Smartfren pada antena Kaleng , Ping  sebesar 60ms dengan nilai jitter 69ms  kecepatan download sebesar 19,2Mbps dan kecepatan upload 0,15Mbps.

Abstract

Lemahnya sinyal internet di Dusun Lintang Batang, menjadi permasalahan bagi masyarakat pengguna internet dalam mengakses informasi. Dengan antena penguat sinyal yaitu antena kathrein dapat memecahkan masalah di daerah sinyal internet lemah baik dalam kondisi non line of sight (NLoS) maupun line of sight (LoS). Akan tetapi diperlukan analisis lebih lanjut mengenai performansi antena kathrein. Sehingga penulis juga menggunakan antena penguat sinyal pembanding yaitu antena wajan bolic. Dalam penelitian ini diuraikan tentang proses analisis performansi antena kathrein dan antena wajan bolic dengan tujuan untuk memperkuat daya tangkap sinyal internet. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian kecepatan internet menggunakan aplikasi wireshark dengan jarak lokasi penelitian 3,1 Km dari BTS indosat pada antena kathrein di dapat nilai kecepatan parameter dengan nilai throughput 1257 kbps, packet loss 0,7 %, delay 541 ms, jitter 51 ms dan secara keseluruhan dapat dikategorikan bagus dengan indeks 3. Sedangkan pada antena wajan bolic di dapatkan nilai kecepatan parameter dengan nilai throughput 1528 kbps, packet loss 0,2 %, delay 806 ms, jitter 33 ms dan secara keseluruhan dapat dikategorikan bagus dengan indeks 3. Dengan kualitas sinyal yang baik maka dapat dilakukan aktifitas akses internet dan fitur-fiturnya aplikasi tanpa kendala.

Abstract

Diskomifo Kota Sanggau merupakan lembaga yang bertugas dalam melaksanakan urusan pemerintan di bidang konunikasi dan informatika yang mana salah satu tugas dari Diskominfo adalah memberi rasa aman kepada masyarakat. Memberi rasa aman pada masyarakat salah satunya adalah dengan pengawasan di titik yang rawan kecelakaan dan tindakan kriminal lainnya, untuk melakukan pengawasan yang standby setiap saat maka Dikominfo Kota Sanggau menggunakan kemajuan teknologi untuk melakukan hal ini yaitu dengan memanfaatkan CCTV nirkabel antena LiteBeam M5 dan antena NanoStation M5 yang di pasang di setaip titik yang rawan kecelakaan dan diperempatan lampu merah, tentunya diharuskan menjaga kualitas jaringan internetnya dengan melihat parameter yaitu daya terima antena dan kualitas jaringan. Dalam penelitian ini akan menganalisa beberapa faktor yang mempengarui kualitas daya pancar antena dan kualitas jaringan pada antena LiteBeam M5 dan NanoStation M5. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan 4 client, yang mana keempat client ini dalam kondisi LOS dan NLOS dan memiliki jarak yang berbeda beda kepada antena pemancar. Pada penenelitian ini penulis melakukan penelitian dalam dua kondisi yang pertama dalam keadaan cuaca cerah, dan yang kedua dalam keadaan cuaca hujan dan berangin kuat

Abstract

The need for a communication system with a higher data rate and mobility grows along with information and communication technology development. Combining MC-CDMA with the MIMO system and supporting the system with a good transmit diversity technique is a promising idea to provide the needed communication system, especially in high mobility conditions. MC-CDMA can support ubiquitous communications without affecting the achievable BER and is more capable of high-speed mobility. It integrates the benefit of both OFDM and CDMA. On the other hand, QO-STBC increases the bit rate without using additional bandwidth to transmit diversity in the MIMO system. So, this study proposed a system combining the MIMO MC-CDMA system with QO-STBC. The proposed system is investigated under high mobility conditions to see the system's performance. The simulation results show that our system performs better than the MC-CDMA STBC system and the QOSTBC system but not better than the MC-CDMA multilevel coding scheme. To reach the value of BER 10−3, MC-CDMA multilevel Coding requires less power, around 5 dB, than the proposed system.

Abstract

The cultivation of strong character in schools can be achieved through character education. One promising approach to cultivating a deep affection for the environment is through the Workshop on Environmental Compassion and Energy Savings Character Development. Hence, it is essential to educate individuals about the implementation of the 4R (Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle) principles and minimize energy when utilizing electronic devices in households and schools. By nurturing a foundational awareness of energy conservation and environmental consciousness at Bruder Melati Pontianak Elementary School, it is expected that the teachers will be able to impart this knowledge. Through the implementation of dissemination, school citizens gain a greater comprehension and consciousness of the 4R movement and the more prudent utilization of electricity by 94.4%. Furthermore, they acquire fresh perspectives concerning the energy-saving patterns of daily electrical energy use, thereby contributing to the betterment of society as a whole.

Abstract

Information is now a basic need for every people, including the people in border areas. Therefore, it is an obligation for the government to provide information media that can be reached by all levels of society, one of which is FM radio broadcast media. This research aims to identify and assess the quality of FM radio broadcasts in the border area of Sambas Regency using several antenna models which in the area is a vulnerable area of signal leakage by neighbouring countries and far from Indonesian broadcast transmitters. The assessment of FM radio broadcast quality is carried out with the determination of SINPO (Signal, Interference, Noise, Propagation, Overall) values and field strength meter measurements. The data obtained were analysed using the Miles and Hubberman interactive data processing technique. From the research conducted, it was found that 10 Malaysian FM radio broadcast channels and 2 broadcast channels from Indonesia where the dominant broadcast was received better by the yagi antenna. There were also broadcasts whose frequencies fell out of compliance with the regulations.

Abstract

This research employs Optisystem for evaluating network quality through calculation and simulation. It includes direct observation of installed devices at Perum 4 East Pontianak and network simulations using parameters like Power Link Budget, Rise Time Budget, BER, and Q factor. Calculations indicate that power levels on the downstream and upstream sides meet the standard. RTB analysis and BER and Q factor simulations confirm compliance with PT Panglima Kamayo Media and ITU-T G.984 standards. However, a design-implementation mismatch affects two consumers with significant power deviations, necessitating network improvements. PLB and RTB calculations on both sides confirm compliance with standards, and simulations validate the furthest network's feasibility. Yet, two specific consumers, 24 and 27, require improvements due to Prx power exceeding limits. These enhancements should consider internal and external factors, such as anthill interference. Overall, Perum 4 East Pontianak's FTTH network meets standards with potential improvements for uniformity, offering valuable guidance for PT Panglima Kamayo Media in enhancing consumer services.

Abstract

2x2 MIMO antenna design with 4 circular patch array elements for WiFi Technology using CST Studio Suite 2019 software to get an antenna that can work at the 2.4 GHz frequency. This antenna has a circular patch shape with a proximity coupled supply method and uses a 2x2 MIMO system with multilevel impedance arranged with an array supply. The material used to design this antenna is FR-4 Epoxy substrate with a dielectric constant (εr) of 4.3 with a thickness (h) of 1.6 mm. An analysis will be carried out on the antenna starting from single patch to MIMO 2x2 on 4 patches on each antenna. The design results of the 2x2 MIMO antenna have obtained return loss values of -21,874 dB and -21,888 for ports 1 and 2, VSWR values of 1,175 and 1,174, gain obtained the same value of 3,661 dBi, with a bandwidth value of 112.5 MHz and a radiation pattern The result is omnidirectional. The antenna design has a patch radius of 27.66 mm with total antenna dimensions of 680x140x3.235 mm3. The design results are in accordance with the initial specifications, so that a 2x2 patch circular MIMO antenna can be realized at the 2.4 GHz frequency.

Abstract

The reliable spread of BTS networks with high system capacity poses a challenge for operators in delivering services. An alternative strategy is network sharing, one of which is MOCN (Multi Operator Core Network). MOCN BTS is configured to share RF module and antenna resources by combining frequencies between operators while maintaining each operator's core. On the other hand, BTS not-pair is the conventional operator configuration where RF modules and antennas are installed independently without any connection to other operators. In this final project, a KPI data analysis is conducted for both BTS configuration to assess their reliability. Four BTS samples from two operators (IM3 and 3ID) are taken for this analysis. The analyzed KPI categories include Accessibility KPI, Retainability KPI, and Service Integrity KPI during busy hours. KPI data is obtained from field results and assisted by the technical team from Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Pontianak. The analysis results indicate that in terms of Service Integrity KPI, BTS MOCN outperforms BTS not-pair, with a difference of 2.590175 Mbps for downlink and 0.286065 Mbps for uplink. Regarding Accessibility KPI and Retainability KPI, BTS managed by 3ID demonstrates better performance compared to those managed by IM3.

Abstract

Matlab is a software that is capable of performing calculations and simulations as well as developing Graphical User Interface (GUI) based application. The development of GUI based application can be used to perform complex calculations, one of which is the calculation of microstrip antenna dimensions. Microstrip antenna is a type of antenna that consists of a thin conductor laid over a dielectric substrate. The purpose of this research and development is to describe the programming language process so as to produce an effective GUI to determine the dimensions of the microstrip antenna to be designed. By providing input values in the form of dielectric constant, dielectric height, frequency, and impedance, the GUI will process this input into output values in the form of patch dimensions, feedline dimensions, and ground plane dimensions. This GUI will be made stand-alone so the users do not need to open the Matlab application to use it. The GUI will present buttons that are easy for users to use where each button has been adjusted to its respective function. The calculation of microstrip antenna dimensions from the GUI will be tested by comparing the output value with output value from the previous journals. In addition, to test the usefulness of each button, the blackbox testing where the result obtained were that all buttons could work according to their respective functions without any problems or errors so that the GUI can be used for determining the dimensions of microstrip antennas. Then, to test the appearance of the GUI, survey of potential users was conducted to determine the level of user satisfaction with resulting GUI.
