Abstract

This research explores the impact of recovery on sleep patterns among female basketball athletes from MA Central Jakarta. Adequate sleep is essential for optimal physical and psychological performance, particularly in sports. Poor sleep patterns can lead to fatigue, decreased immune function, and suboptimal athletic performance. This study aims to assess the knowledge and habits of these athletes regarding sleep recovery and its implications for their performance. A descriptive statistical approach was utilized, involving a purposive sampling of 10 athletes aged 16-19 years. Data were collected using an online questionnaire with 18 structured questions focusing on sleep recovery patterns. The analysis employed the Guttman scale with binary responses ("Yes" or "No"). Findings revealed that 70% of the responses indicated poor sleep patterns, including inconsistent sleep schedules and frequent use of technology before bedtime. These habits negatively influenced their recovery, contributing to fatigue and reduced performance during training and competition. The study underscores the importance of sufficient sleep, ideally 8-10 hours per night, for maintaining physical fitness and enhancing athletic performance. The research concludes that interventions are needed to improve sleep habits among these athletes. Recommendations include establishing consistent sleep routines and educating athletes on the significance of sleep for recovery. Future studies should explore broader populations and evaluate interventions for promoting better sleep practices among athletes.

Abstract

Technology development allows various kinds of technology to provide convenience and better services. One of them is the development of technology with the Internet of Things. In this research, we have developed a system to detect and map damaged road conditions to give road users a better experience. The user is expected to use this system to collect data. Detection is done using an accelerometer sensor that estimates the speed of a vehicle. In the process of pothole detection, the accelerometer checks the value of each x, y, and z axis. When data meets the axis value, it is taken by Arduino and sent to the Raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi, which is an integration of systems, processes data and classificates data. Also, Raspberry Pi enables GPS and camera to collect data in visual form. Data that has been processed, sent to the database to be displayed on the dashboard of application. The system was tested along Jalan Radio Palasari, Bandung Regency. From experiments that have been carried out by collecting 50 data, it is known that the delay in sensor detection is set for approximately one minute with a sending delay to the database of six seconds. The accuracy of data in detecting and mapping only differs by 3-6 meters from the real pothole road.

Abstract

Volleyball is a team game played by two teams with six players in each team. It is played by volleying the ball back and forth over the net and each team tries to quickly drop the ball into the opponent's court with a perfect ball bounce. Mastery of technique, physical ability, good tactics and mentality, as well as cooperation are needed to win the game. The aim of this observation was to measure Body Mass Index (BMI) and nutrition in Sky Club volleyball athletes. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, qualitative descriptive aims to systematically explain events that are currently occurring by emphasizing the disclosure of data based on facts obtained from the field. The results of this observation show that the Sky Club volleyball athletes have an average Body Mass Index (BMI) value in the Normal criteria. This shows that the Langit volleyball athletes do not have problems with nutrition, because they have a good diet and balanced training patterns. If it is not balanced with a programmed diet and exercise pattern, growth, in this case Body Mass Index (BMI), will be disrupted. The nutritional status of athletes at Club Langit is good, there are only a few athletes whose nutritional status is not normal, and this can all be influenced by several factors such as meal portions, lack of nutrients (carbohydrates, protein, fat, etc.) and inappropriate training. to the needs of athletes. Coaches must pay more attention to providing training progress to athletes, so that there are no more problems with nutritional status to improve the performance of Club Langit athletes. The Body Mass Index results at the Langit club were 71.47% in the Normal category and this is quite a good result. This correlates when the athletes do the vertical jump, they will be very light when doing it.

Abstract

Kata kunci: Internet of Things, Mobile Application, Obstac Map, Pemetaan Kerusakan Jalan, User Experience.
