Abstract

The researcher formulated the problem What are the students’ motivation in Extensive Listening for the second semester at Universitas PGRI Silampari. In addition, the objectives of this research was to find out to describe the students motivation in Extensive Listening. This research will be conducted by using qualitative as well as descriptive method and it is designed to find out some information from actual condition. The subject of the research is the students of second semester at Universitas PGRI Silampari and the researcher collected the data based on the questionnaire is made based on google form for main data for supporting the data as the research instrument. The data from the online questionnaire was put into a table and summarized in form of percentages for each part of the questionnaire. The result of distributing students questionnaire consist of indicator included 20 statements for the second semester with a total of 24 students’ was explained descriptively by using the percentages.

Abstract

The aimed of this research to find out what were the types of second semester students’ communication apprehension and to find out the factors of second semester students’ communication apprehension in learning English as foreign language at PGRI Silampari University. The researchers used descriptive qualitative method and data collection was done through observation checklist and interview. The research involved 23 students of second semester English Education study program at PGRI Silampari University. The results showed that students communication apprehension experienced trait-like, context-based, audience-based and situational of CA. the factors of students’ communication apprehension in learning English as foreign language were nervous, lack of vocabulary, not confident, shy or embarrassed, afraid making mistakes, not comfortable with the situations, insecure and afraid for bad judgement or negative evaluation from others. In addition, the conclusion of this research were mostly students experienced trait-like and situational of CA and the factors students experiencing both types were due to nervous, lack of vocabulary, afraid making mistakes and afraid for negative evaluation or bad judgement.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini menganalisis pemanfaatan media sosial oleh akun Twitter @WatchmenID dalam membangun komunitas online pecinta film. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis konten digunakan untuk mengamati strategi komunikasi, jenis konten, dan keterlibatan pengikut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa @WatchmenID menggunakan thread, diskusi interaktif, dan aktivitas offline seperti nobar untuk meningkatkan rasa kebersamaan komunitas. Konten tentang film lokal terbukti mendapatkan keterlibatan lebih tinggi dibandingkan konten lain. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi komunikasi yang efektif dan interaksi aktif menjadi kunci dalam membangun komunitas online. Abstract This study analyses the use of social media by the Twitter account @WatchmenID in building an online community of movie lovers. A qualitative approach with content analysis method was used to observe communication strategies, content types, and follower engagement. The results show that @WatchmenID uses threads, interactive discussions, and offline activities such as nobar to increase the sense of community. Content about local films proved to get higher engagement than other content. This study concludes that effective communication strategies and active interaction are key in building online communities.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to describe he types of directive speech act found A Man Called Otto movie. The method applied in this research was designed in qualitative descriptive. This research used human instrument by herself. The data was analyzed by describing the type of directive speech act in a movie. In collecting the data, the researcher watched A Man Called Otto movie and in analyzing the dataBased on the result of data analysis, the researcher found out four types of directive speech acts. The first type was commanding as the highest with 30 utterences. The second types was requesting with 28 utterances The third types was suggesting with 22 uttences. The last type was ordering. In conclusion, command was used to direct people or person to do something or do what the speaker wants, requesting was the expression of the speaker wants, request usually used in polite ways, suggestion was the opinion about what the addressee should or should not do from the speaker and in order, before do what the speaker wants, the listener will check the order of the speaker.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase public understanding of the circular economy concept and encourage its implementation in utilizing wetland potential in Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan. The outreach program was successfully conducted in Guntung Ujung Village, Gambut District, Banjar Regency on August 29, 2025. The results of this activity indicated an increase in the community's initial understanding of the concept and benefits of a circular economy. More than 50 participants, consisting of village residents, MSMEs, and village officials, attended the activity. Most participants expressed their readiness to apply circular economy principles in their economic activities. New initiatives, such as the processing of rice straw into compost by a farmer group, and the interest of a village women's group in developing purun and water hyacinth crafts, were identified. Based on the evaluation results, the team also identified challenges faced by residents, such as limited access to capital, a lack of understanding of wetland resource management, and a lack of supporting infrastructure. Therefore, the results of the circular economy outreach program will serve as the basis for further programs such as training and mentoring in assisted villages.

Abstract

n revitalizing a historic area, we need to know what aspects need to be considered in revitalizing.Revitalizing a historic area from an ordinary area is very different because in a historic area it is necessaryand an obligation to maintain some of the historical values that have existed and have occurred in the areaso as not to lose the historical value that has occurred in the area. And the Banteng Field Park is alsocurrently the flagship park of the community in the Special Capital Region (DKI) Jakarta for sports,recreation, watching cultural arts performances and spending free time there because it has a large enougharea and also has a good and sustainable architectural concept in was designed and built by the DKIJakarta Provincial Government and was revitalized in 2017. After revitalizing the park, it looks new andhas a good and beautiful architecture that raises the intention of the surrounding community, especially thepeople of Jakarta, to visit and also spend time there. Therefore, the author wants to examine more deeplyan architectural revitalization in the Banteng Field Park which has quite a lot of history since the absenceof the Republic of Indonesia until now, with various research methodologies available for conductingresearch and studies, especially for making architectural journals

Abstract

Taman adalah sebidang tanah terbuka dengan luasan tertentu di dalamnyaditananm pepohonan, perdu, semak, dan rerumputan yang dapat dikombinasikandengan kreasi dari bahan lainnya. Seperti Taman Waduk Ria Rio yang memilikiberbagai macam tanaman dan pepohonan yang rindang, sehingga tak jarang tamantersebut digunakan untuk tempat kumpul bersama keluarga dan teman. Disampingitu Taman Waduk Ria Rio juga masih memiliki beberapa kekurangan, di antaranyayaitu kurangnya fasilitas pendukung kenyamanan taman, dan masih terdapatmasalah lainnya. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kenyamanan adalah iklimdan curah hujan. Faktor curah hujan sering menimbulkan gangguan pada aktivitasmanusia diruang luar sehingga perlu di sediakan tempat berteduh apabila terjadihujan (Shelter, Gazebo).

Abstract

The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station is one of the public facilities that support activities forall groups of people. The appropriateness of public facilities in accordance with applicablestandards and regulations is something that needs to be considered in the fulfillment of publicfacilities, especially for persons with disabilities or disabilities, which of course require specialstandards. The purpose of this study is to review facilities for persons with disabilities at theHaji Nawi Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Station, so that later it can be seen whether the facilitiesfor persons with disabilities at Haji Nawi Station are appropriate in accordance withapplicable standards. The method used in this study is a comparison method with reference tothe applicable standards. The results of this study can be concluded that the facilities forpersons with disabilities at the Haji Nawi Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Station in several areasare not in accordance with the applicable standards, the unavailability of guiding blocks in theplatform area, taxi waiting shelters, signage in the disabled parking area. some areas that arein the service area that meet the standards

Abstract

Ruang publik ramah anak adalah lingkungan sosial bagi perkembangan anak. Seorangpakar perkembangan anak mengatakan bahwa, anak-anak berkembang dipengaruhi oleh kontekssosial dalam kehidupan anak-anak. Ruang publik menurut teori ekologi ditempatkan sebagaimesosistem, yakni ruang kolektif di mana anak-anak melaksanakan tugas-tugasperkembangannya di luar rumah. Ruang kolektif ini sangat menentukan kualitas perkembangananak, sehingga ruang publik adalah bagian penting dari pembentukan kualitas sosialperkembangan anak di luar rumah. Terdapat sebuah taman publikdi Kecamatan Bantargebangyang bernama Taman Bantargebang yang berada persis di depan pasar tradisional Bantargebang.Taman Bantargebang adalah taman kedua yang dibangun pada program pengembangan kotahijau (P2KH) pemerintah kota Bekasi yang diresmikan pada 12 Januari 2015. Pada penelitianini, peneliti akan mengkaji terkait penyediaan dan pemanfaatan RTH serta penerapan prinsipRuang Publik Ramah Anakpada Taman Bantargebang yang berada dikawasan kantor kecamatanBantargebang, kota Bekasi. Terutama tentang organisasi tata letaknyadan bagaimana seharusnyataman yang baik sehingga lebih nyaman bagi pengguna terutama untuk anak – anak. Metodepembahasan yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analitis yang menggunakan data darihasil survey lokasi. Taman ini memiliki luas ±6000 m², dimana dalam penataan taman dilakukandengan menitik beratkan vegetasi pada sisi-sisi taman dan tanah lapang pada bagian tengahtaman dengan desain yang sederhana dan memiliki konsep hijau. Taman bermain anak- anakmenjadi salah satu pilihan utama, hal ini terlihat permainan yang ada diperuntukkan untuk anakanak seperti Ayunan, Jungkat-jungkit, Perosotan. Walaupun disebut Taman, tetapi sekilasterlihat mirip seperti fasilitas lapangan tempat arena bermain, berkumpul untuk keluarga dananak-anak

Abstract

The mosque building is one of the worship buildings for religious facilities for adherents of Islam which is used as a place to worship. According to Prijotomo in the History of Architecture (2009) buildings that have aesthetic value or can be said to be beautiful buildings. In this study, the method used is a qualitative descriptive method. the author who became the instrument in the research and the analysis was carried out continuously from the beginning of the study to data analysis. From this research it can be concluded that the Great Mosque of Sukabumi City applies formation elements on the facade including the entrance gate, Ground floor zone, windows and entrances, guardrails, roofs and ornaments on the building and has aesthetic values of the facade by considering the layout. location, geometry, proportion, symmetry, rhythm (rhythm) and scale so as to produce a facade that has a 'feel'.
