Abstract

This research analyzes PAUD teachers in Situbondo as driving school teachers in adopting and implementing the Independent Curriculum. The results of this research provide an in-depth understanding of how teachers understand the curriculum concept, the school's efforts to integrate it, management based on the Independent Curriculum. This research used qualitative methods using in-depth interviews and observations of 41 teachers from various kindergartens in Situbondo, including Nurul Anshor Islamic Kindergarten, DWP 1 Besuki Kindergarten, DWP 1 Asembagus Kindergarten, Kartika IV-71 Kindergarten, Nurul Huda Kindergarten, DWP 1 Jatibanteng Kindergarten. , and Hasyim Asy'ari Kindergarten. The research results show that the majority of PAUD teachers in Situbondo have a basic understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum, although there are variations in their level of understanding. This emphasizes the need for additional training to ensure teachers can implement it effectively. Kindergarten schools in Situbondo have demonstrated a strong commitment to integrating the Merdeka Curriculum into children's learning experiences. Collaboration between teachers and school staff is a key factor in school operational management. School management has also adopted the principles of the Independent Curriculum in school management and development. Overall, these findings contribute to important insights into the role of PAUD teachers as drivers in creating an educational environment in accordance with the principles of the Independent Curriculum. All the results of this research can serve as guidance for related parties in efforts to improve the quality of PAUD in Situbondo.

Abstract

Education is an effort to equip students to have abilities that can benefit them in the life of society, nation and state. The diversity of cultures in Indonesia provides its own challenges in multicultural life, so concern and sensitivity to multicultural issues is needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of multicultural education on student character and entrepreneurial skills. The technique in this study uses a survey-quantitative method to find the magnitude of the influence between variables. While the questionnaire is used as data collection. The influence between variables is proven by using the regression test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between multicultural education on student character and entrepreneurial skills.

Abstract

In Indonesia, batik is not only a cultural heritage that has a high selling price and bright economic prospects, but is also a wealth known to every ethnic group. Its presence as a hereditary heritage provides great opportunities for further development. With a variety of existing processing techniques, such as canting techniques or splatter techniques, the potential for improved motifs and methods will provide new opportunities to increase the selling value of batik in the future. The purpose of this service is to describe how to use financial reporting accounting for RUBI batik craftsmen, Kedungdowo Village so that it can improve the economy of batik craftsmen. In this service activity, service members use service methods with inclusive financial education, accessibility of financial infrastructure, support for financial management skills, as well as partnerships and networks. Improving financial management in the batik economy for people with disabilities is not only related to providing physical or technological access, but also involves creating an inclusive environment, building necessary skills, and overcoming social barriers. Through these steps, it is hoped that disabled people can achieve success and prosperity in the batik economic sector, while still maintaining Indonesia's valuable cultural heritage.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of improving students' learning discipline. Learning is an important process for changing human behavior and includes everything that is thought and done. To measure whether someone has learned, it is necessary to compare the behavior before and after experiencing learning. Discipline is someone who learns to voluntarily follow the leader. Parents and teachers are leaders and children are students towards a better and more useful life. Using a quantitative approach with ex post facto research involving 60 students in even semesters at MTs Ma'arif Nu 04 Kladi Village, Cermee District, Bondowoso Regency. The results of this study are divided into three, namely, (1.) There is an influence of learning discipline (X) on student learning achievement (Y) at MTs Ma'arif nu 04 Kladi Village, Cermee Subdistrict, Bondowoso Regency for the 2020/2021 academic year. From the research results obtained using the regression line analysis of variance formula yielding Ry (1,2) of 0.537 Which when consulted with the r table with N as many as 60 respondents and a significant level of 5% obtained 0.254 the calculation is intended to prove the major working hypothesis by using the test significant.

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to create learning materials in the form of e-modules based on instructional games, as well as to assess the viability of the materials through expert testing and evaluate their efficacy in enhancing self-directed learning skills. The creation of this medium is predicated on the findings of an examination of the traits of pupils who depend more on teacher explanations and are less engaged in their learning. The five steps of the ADDIE model—analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation—make up the employed development process. Based on the media and material experts' validity test findings, the results of developing educational game-based e-module goods in economic disciplines revealed a 95% and 91% feasibility percentage in the very good and practicable to be used in learning categories, respectively. According to the findings of the examination of the responses from students who gave a favorable answer of ≥80%, which came to 88%, there were several excellent categories. Based on the analysis's findings, it can be said that the e-module does a good job of enhancing students' ability to study independently.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the prophetic leadership of school principals in improving students' religious character with the prophetic leadership model of school principals. This type of research uses a qualitative variety with a case study approach, data collection techniques through observation of all learning activities, critical interviews with school principals, supporting documentation of the prophetic leadership model, data analysis techniques using Miles Huberman's theory, and data validation techniques using triangulation. This research resulted in a prophetic contribution to the concept of leadership by emphasizing the Prophet's excellence, namely sidiq (honest) in innovating to run leadership in schools, amanah (personal excellence) in managing infrastructure to support the development of students' religious character, tabligh (interpersonal capital) social interaction with the primary goal advancing the school without other interests, fatonah (intelligent) in planning the concept of instilling the values of the religious character of students in every line from the school's vision to the implementation in each work unit.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa MTs melalui penggunaan lembar kerja Teknik Bertahap. Banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun teks deskripsi yang runtut dan sistematis, sehingga diperlukan metode yang membantu mereka mengembangkan kemampuan menulis secara bertahap. Dengan penerapan Teknik Bertahap, siswa diharapkan lebih mudah memahami struktur teks deskripsi, memilih kosakata yang tepat, serta menyusun kalimat dan paragraf dengan baik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode tindakan kelas. Subjek kegiatan pengabdian adalah siswa MTs yang mengikuti serangkaian tahapan dalam lembar kerja teknik bertahap. Metode ini terdiri dari tiga langkah utama: (1) mengidentifikasi kosakata yang relevan dengan objek yang dideskripsikan, (2) menyusun kalimat dengan pola tertentu, dan (3) mengembangkan paragraf yang utuh. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa metode Teknik Bertahap secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa. Siswa lebih mampu menyusun paragraf yang padu, memilih kosakata yang lebih variatif, dan menulis dengan struktur yang lebih baik. Selain itu, metode ini juga meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa dalam menulis serta mengurangi kecemasan mereka terhadap tugas menulis. Dengan demikian, penggunaan lembar kerja Teknik Bertahap dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa MTs, khususnya dalam lingkungan pembelajaran berbasis pondok pesantren.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan tinggi sangat berdampak terhadap kualitas proses pengajaran dan kualitas dari lulusan yang dihasilkan oleh perguruan tinggi. Kualitas pendidikan tinggi tidak lepas dari kapasitas dan kemampuan dari tenaga pengajar, yakni dosen dalam terus mengasah dan meningkatkan kemampuannya. Seorang dosen memiliki kewajiban tridharma pendidikan tinggi yang akan selalu mengikat menjadi beban kerja bagi dosen tersebut. Sering kali dosen hanya berpikir bahwa kinerjanya ditentukan dari kualitas pengajaran yang ia berikan pada mahasiswa ketika mengajar di kelas atau kualitas penyampaian materi ketika ia diundang sebagai narasumber atau fasilitator pada seminar umum atau pelatihan yang diadakan baik itu oleh kampus atau lembaga eksternal lainnya. Namun kualitas dari riset yang dihasilkan si dosen sangat berpengaruh terhadap kualitas materi ajar yang ia sampaikan di kelas. Akan terjadi pengayaan dan tercipta bobot ajar yang mumpuni ketika dosen mengkombinasikan hasil dari kebaharuan risetnya dengan materi ajar teoritis. Pada tanggal 25 Mei 2024 diadakan seminar Pengabdian Masyarakat dengan judul “Produktif Publikasi Bagi Dosen”. Seminar mengupas tuntas tips dan trik serta strategi bagaimana agar seorang dosen ditengah kesibukannya dalam mengajar dan mengurusi beban adimnistrasi kampus, masih tetap dapat mengelola waktunya dengan baik untuk melakukan riset dan publikasi. Seminar juga membahas bagaimana hasil riset dan publikasi tidak hanya berdampak bagi kenaikan pangkat kedosenan atau pengurusan BKD (Beban Kerja Dosen) namun juga berdampak terhadap perluasan wawasan dan peningkatan mutu bahan ajar yang akhirnya dirasakan oleh mahasiswa dan berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

This research focuses on understanding how conflicts that occur in Islamic boarding schools are managed and the strategies used to resolve these conflicts. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The collected data was analyzed using data analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman, which included data reduction, data presentation, and a conclusion. The study results show that conflicts in Pesantren appear in various forms, such as political, economic, task, and organizational conflicts. The conflict management strategies implemented include Tabayyun (clarification), deliberation, and the application of the Amar Ma’ruf Nahi Munkar value (inviting goodness and preventing evil). This study found that effective conflict management can increase cooperation, motivation, and discipline among Pesantren members. Conversely, poorly managed conflicts can degrade the performance of institutions and create internal tensions. The implication of this study is the importance of implementing conflict management strategies based on religious values to create a harmonious environment and support the development of Islamic boarding schools.
