Abstract

This material discusses the understanding that public speaking in the Islamic context has a rich historical heritage, practiced by the prophets, especially the Prophet Muhammad. As the art of public speaking, public speaking is not only about conveying information but also building connections, inspiring, and bringing about change. The focus of this research is the opening structure as a key element in Islamic public speaking, with an emphasis on topic selection, effective introduction, and public speaking competence. Through content analysis and literature references, this research reveals that public speaking plays an important role in Islamic da'wah, where choosing the target of da'wah becomes an important strategy. Public speaking competence, such as choosing useful topics and interesting introductions, has proven to be a key element in the effectiveness of da'wah. This research provides practical and in-depth solutions, highlighting changes that can be made, such as catchy titles and the use of more descriptive language, to increase the positive influence in spreading Islamic teachings. Mastery of public speaking competence in and understanding of good opening structures has the potential to increase the effectiveness of Islamic da'wah, providing communication between the speaker and the audience.

Abstract

Ice breaking is type of activity that can be done to change atmosphere in learning process. When teachers can apply it well, the learning atmosphere will be more fun and cheerful, so it helps the teaching-learning process condusive. Ice breaking can be used at the beginning of learning, in the middle of learning and at the end of learning. Through Ice Breaking process, the students will be more understand the material, increase their enthusiasm and motivation, refreshing and refocus their minds. In order to start an effective ice breaking, teacher needs to use their creativity and some facilities as support in classroom. As well as in events, such as seminars and workshops, speaker is a teacher that lead an event, so it requires focus, concentration and responsibility to make sure the audiences understand the material. In this part ice breaking interludes are a necessity to refresh environment and increase audiences' interest of the events. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach method. It aims to determine the use of Ice Breaking in improving communication skills.

Abstract

With the advancement of technology that is developing rapidly, Al-Hidayah taklim assembly is quite far behind. Even so, it does not affect the local residents not to do activities at the Al-Hidayah taklim assembly. The community is still very enthusiastic about activities at the Al-Hidayah taklim assembly. This is a challenge for the management in managing the religious activities of the Al-Hidayah taklim assembly. This research analyzes the management of religious activities at Majelis Taklim Al- Hidayah. This research aims to analyze the management applied by the management of Majelis Taklim Al-Hidayah in an effort to improve religious activities. In addition, this study will find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of taklim assembly activities. To obtain data, researchers will conduct observations, interviews, and documentation. The main supporting factors in the management of activities include a strategic location that is easy to reach, sincere devotion from administrators who act as teachers, and awareness of the surrounding community of the importance of Islamic religious knowledge. However, the majelis taklim also faces challenges, especially limited operational funds, lack of competent human resources (HR), and low levels of technological literacy among the community. This is an obstacle in managing the activities of the majelis taklim. Keywords: management, taklim assembly, religious activities;

Abstract

Saat ini di Indonesia, banyak masjid yang kurang terawat, sehingga penting untuk menerapkan fungsi manajemen yang baik pada sarana dan prasarana masjid. Hal ini akan menjaga kebersihan, keindahan, ketertiban, dan keamanan, sehingga jemaah tertarik untuk datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyelenggaraan kegiatan dakwah dan mendeskripsikan implementasi fungsi manajemen di Masjid Rahmatan Lil Alamin Ma’had Al-Zaytun Indramayu. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data diuji melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan dakwah di masjid ini cukup beragam, dan sarana serta prasarana yang ada memadai, meski masih ada ruang untuk peningkatan. Penyelenggaraan kegiatan dakwah dikelola oleh panitia tetap yang terdiri dari karyawan dan guru, serta panitia tambahan dari mahasiswa dan santri. Meskipun ada kendala, panitia berhasil mengatasinya. Implementasi fungsi manajemen dipegang oleh tim pembangunan dan perlengkapan, dengan semua fungsi seperti perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian berjalan baik. Kendala yang muncul dapat diatasi dengan baik.

Abstract

Mahasiswa merupakan generasi muda dengan peran strategis sebagai agen perubahan dalam masyarakat. Sebagai individu yang menempuh pendidikan tinggi, mereka memiliki peluang besar untuk memahami dan menyebarkan nilai-nilai keislaman. Perguruan tinggi memiliki tanggung jawab moral dan akademik untuk membimbing mahasiswa dalam memperdalam pemahaman agama serta menyalurkan potensi dakwah mereka secara positif. Dakwah menjadi aspek penting dalam kehidupan keagamaan yang memerlukan perhatian, terutama di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi. Aktivitas dakwah membantu membentuk identitas keagamaan dan spiritual mahasiswa, termasuk mahasiswa Institut Agama Islam Al-Zaytun Indonesia (IAI AL AZIS) Program Studi Manajemen Dakwah angkatan 2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peranan perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan potensi dakwah mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil menunjukkan perguruan tinggi berperan penting melalui organisasi seperti Himpunan Mahasiswa Manajemen Dakwah (HIMMA MD). Dukungan institusional, kegiatan terstruktur, dan partisipasi mahasiswa menjadi kunci keberhasilan. Kegiatan dakwah di luar kampus juga berkontribusi dalam pengembangan kapasitas mahasiswa sebagai pendakwah. Namun, hambatan seperti keterbatasan waktu, tantangan komunikasi, dan resistensi memerlukan sinergi antara institusi, mahasiswa, dan pihak eksternal untuk diatasi.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam memainkan peran penting dalam pembentukan karakter umat Islam yang berkualitas. Namun, tantangan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam masih dihadapi, termasuk kurangnya infrastruktur transportasi yang memadai. Oleh karena itu, studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana implementasi strategi manajemen dakwah dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam melalui infrastruktur transportasi yang mendukung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode library research, melalui data sekunder yang didapat melalui wawancara dengan para masyarakat, pakar pendidikan Islam dan praktisi manajemen dakwah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi strategi manajemen dakwah yang tepat dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam melalui infrastruktur transportasi yang mendukung. Strategi tersebut mencakup pemilihan sasaran dakwah yang tepat, pengembangan program pendidikan Islam yang inovatif, dan pengelolaan infrastruktur transportasi yang efektif. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi landasan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam melalui implementasi strategi manajemen dakwah yang tepat, terutama dalam memanfaatkan infrastruktur transportasi yang tersedia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of local wisdom and economic dynamics in the historical area of Al-Zaytun from the perspective of da'wah (Islamic propagation) and education. This area not only holds historical value but also serves as a center for religious, social, and economic activities based on local values. The research method used is a qualitative study with a descriptive-analytical approach. The findings of the study indicate that: 1) Local Wisdom as a Socio-Cultural Foundation: The historical area of Al-Zaytun possesses strong elements of local wisdom, such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong), tolerance, and appreciation for spiritual and traditional values. These values shape the community into one that is ethical and religious in character. 2) The Role of Economy in Da'wah and Education: Economic activities flourishing around Al-Zaytun ranging from agriculture to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as well as services contribute significantly to local economic development. These activities also serve as a medium for da'wah bil hal (preaching through actions) and support the self-reliance of Islamic educational institutions. 3) Integration of Da'wah, Education, and Economy: Al-Zaytun is not only a center of religious education but also a hub for economic and social empowerment. This model demonstrates the synergy between da'wah, education, and a local wisdom-based economy, which can serve as a development model for other Islamic historical regions in Indonesia. 4) Dynamics and Challenges: Despite its development, the area faces challenges such as negative stereotypes, limited market access, and dependence on central figures. Abstract

This study examines the role of classification, definition, and analogy as logical pillars that constitute the fundamental framework of knowledge. These three instruments of logic are closely interconnected in supporting the process of scientific reasoning. Classification functions to organize objects or phenomena into systematic categories, thereby facilitating identification. Definition provides clear boundaries of meaning to prevent conceptual ambiguity and ensure consistency of interpretation among researchers and practitioners. Meanwhile, analogy serves as a reasoning tool that bridges existing knowledge with new insights through rational comparison. This article employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review of both classical and modern logic theories. The findings indicate that the integration of classification, definition, and analogy not only strengthens the consistency of scientific reasoning but also contributes significantly to education, communication, and the development of interdisciplinary knowledge. Thus, these three pillars of logic hold a strategic position in building a foundation of rationality and promoting the advancement of knowledge that is both comprehensive and applicablee.

Abstract

Public Speaking is the process of speaking in public or an audience to convey information and influence the audience. Public speaking is also a skill. practice, and the process of giving a speech or speaking in front of a wide audience. The aim is to: Convey information, influence, express opinions, motivate, entertain. Self-confidence is a trait that a person has and is confident in his abilities. Self-confidence is very useful when we are speaking in front of many people. The relationship between public speaking and da'wah communication requires a change in the views or behavior of the audience to fulfill the wishes of the message conveyed. Thus, what has been conveyed by the preacher or communicator can influence the behavior of the communicant or mad'u to the extent of the communicator's ability to influence the development of the da'wah.
