Communicative approach is one of the language teaching approaches used in improving learnerâs language skill. It is one of the alternative approaches in the language teaching and learning processes which can help create positive atmosphere in the learning of language in general and learning English in particular. Applying this approach, language teacher and learner can participate actively in various classroom activities. Anemia suppresses a condition where hemoglobin rates in the blood is lower than its normal value which is commonly caused by a lack of some gizi nutrients in foods that our body desperately needs. According to world Health Organization (WHO) data, anaemia in putri teenagers is still high enough, the world's anemic crossings range from 40-88%. The purpose of this scrutiny to verify whether there is a video media complimentary influence on the knowledge and attitude of anaemia in teenage daughter SMPN 1 Turikale. The type of scrutiny used is quasi Experimental ruin scrutiny using the normal reinsuance plan design also we mentioned with the term "One Group Pre and Posttest". The population on this scrutiny is the SMPN 1 Turikale siswi, a sample intake on this scrutiny using Purposive Sampling techniques with a total of 40 siswis. This review shows the increased knowledge and attitude of the graduates after completion using video media. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test test shows that compilation using video media has meaningful influence on the knowledge and attitude of graduates about anemia with the knowledge results of p=0,000 (p<0,05) and attitudes of 0,001 (p<0,05). There is a influence on the influence of compilation using video media against knowledge and attitudes about anaemia on the teenage daughter of SMPN 1 Turikale 2020. ABSTRAK Anemia merupkan suatu keadaan dimana kadar hemoglobin didalam darah lebih rendah dari nilai normalnya yang biasa diakibatkan oleh kurangnya beberapa zat gizi pada makanan yang sangat diperlukan oleh tubuh kita. Menurut data World Health Organization (WHO), anemia pada remaja putri masih cukup tinggi, persentase anemia di dunia berkisar antara 40-88%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menetahui apakah ada pengaruh penyuluhan menggunakan media video terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap tentang anemia pada remaja putri SMPN 1 Turikale. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimen desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain rancangan perlakuan ulang biasa juga kita sebut dengan istilah “One Group Pre and Posttestâ€. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswi SMPN 1 Turikale, Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan total samel 40 siswi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap siswi setelah dilakukan penyuluhan menggunakan media video. Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan menggunakan media video memiliki pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswi tentang anemia dengan hasil pengetahuan p=0,000 (p<0,05) dan sikap 0,001 (p<0,05). Ada pengaruh penyuluhan menggunakan media video terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap tentang anemia pada remaja putri SMPN 1 Turikale tahun 2020.

Numerous studies have accepted the flipped learning approach as an approach in implementing technological-based classroom environments. This article aims to identify the required constructs in developing an instrument for flipped learning in an ESL environment. This study uses the Fuzzy Delphi method to collect and analyze the viewpoints of 18 experts from relevant fields. An online questionnaire was developed to gather the experts’ agreement towards seven constructs: flexible environments, the shift in learning culture, intentional content, progressive networking activities, professional educators, engaging effective learning experiences, and diversified seamless learning platforms, and 68 items gathered from the literature. The Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) analysis rejected seven items, finalizing the instrument with seven constructs and 61 items. The instrument is beneficial to teachers and learners of ESL and developers of technology-based learning methods. The implication of the study is the provision of the constructs to help guide and implement the flipped learning approach in educational contexts. Furthermore, these constructs can be used as the basis for further investigations that lead to developing frameworks or models for the flipped learning approach. Future works on the topic may look at a bigger sample for stronger results. Students usually feel bored in vocabulary lesson because they have less vocabulary and the teacher used same strategy in every meeting. In learning vocabulary, it is important used attractive strategy in order to the students interest to learn vocabulary. This research focuses on the using of talking stick strategy to the tenth grade students’ vocabulary mastery at SMA Negeri 1 Kasimbar. The researcher applied quasi experimental research design and need pre-test and post-test to both experimental and control class. The pre-test was to know the level of students’ vocabulary mastery ability before giving treatment while the post-test was used to know the result after giving treatment. There was a significant difference score of the post-test of the experimental class (696,64) and the control class (516,66). The level of significance was set up 0,05 with 18 degree of freedom ( (df) = Nx + Ny – 2 = 10 + 10 – 2). The result of data analysis indicates that tcounted (2,573) which was higher than ttable (2,153),it means that the hypothesis of the research was accepted. Thus, there was significant score improvement of using talking stick strategy to the tenth grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Kasimbar.

This research was motivated by the problems experienced by some of the eighth grade students in SMPN 1 Palu. The students still had some difficulties when expressing their ideas or feelings by using English. They had various reasons for this. Most of them said that grammar is one of the causes of their difficulties in speaking English. This research was a correlational design, the technique of collecting data using test. There were two kinds of test such as written test and oral test as the research instrument. The written test was used to measure students’ grammar competency and oral test was used to measure students’ speaking ability. The researcher used Pearson Product Moment Correlation in analyzing the data by using SPSS program 26 version. Based on the results of the correlation analysis between the students’ grammar competency and the students speaking ability, the r value was obtained at 0.407 (r > 0.361) with p = 0.023 (p <0.05) indicating that there was a significant positive correlation between students’ grammar competency and students’ speaking ability. This supported the alternative hypothesis to be accepted and the null hypothesis to be rejected. It could be concluded that there was a correlation between grammar competency and speaking ability at the eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Palu in the academic year of 2020/2021.

The purpose of this study is to find out students' perceptions of online learning during the covid-19 pandemic by using WhatsApp. This research used quantitative descriptive research. The population of this research was 67 people, while the research sample used was simple random sampling based on the solving formula, so the sample in this study was 57 second semester of the English Tadris Department at UIN Datokarma Palu. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that online learning using the WhatsApp application has been going well or it can be interpreted that online learning during the pandemic using the WhatsApp application was very helpful. The percentage obtained in this study is; positive (4.38%), while the negative obtained (4.01%), and neutral (1.59%). Based on the percentages above, we can see that online learning using the WhatsApp application during the pandemic really helped students in the learning process even though they did not have face-to-face classes.

This research seeks to investigate the effectiveness of using Syntactic Tree Diagram application to improve the students’ performance in English Syntax and the students’ interest in using the tool in English Syntax learning process. All participants were the sixth semester students of English Tadris Program of State Islamic University Datokarama Palu, Indonesia. This research was conducted through quasi experimental study design with two groups consisted of 18 students in the experimental group and 18 students in the control group. The instruments were syntax test to collect the data about the students’ performance in English Syntax and questionnaire to find out the students’ interest. After that, the data collections were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics through SPSS Program Version 23.0. The result of data analysis showed that (1) using Syntactic Tree Diagram application was more effective than drilling using the written tree diagram task to improve the students’ performance in English Syntax. It is seen from the significance t test result that reveals the significance value is lower than the significance level; 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, in relation to the students’ interest in using Syntactic Tree Diagram application to learn English Syntax, (2) it was found that the students’ interest in using the application was categorized as high.

One way to improve pronunciation skills is to use sophisticated technology, namely software that can help reduce accent errors. In this study we used ELSA Speak software which is an application (app) for moderating a non-native English accent. This study aims to determine whether accent reduction software can improve students’ pronunciation abilities. It uses quantitative methods with an experimental research approach. The research was conducted at one of the Islamic universities in Indonesia. We recruited 40 students – 20 from the English department and 20 from the Arabic language department. Their ages are between 19 and 20, and they have been studying English and Arabic within their departments for four semesters. Ten students from each department were allocated to the experimental class, and ten other students from both majors were placed in the control class. The experimental class was taught by researchers using accent reduction software, while the control class was taught by an English teacher using conventional techniques. We used a voice recorder to capture students’ pronunciation. The data were analysed using descriptive analysis and t-test. The results of the study show that the application of accent reduction software as a medium for teaching English pronunciation can improve students’ skills in English pronunciation (t = 3.538, tcalculate> ttable). This software helps students produce English words clearly and easily because they can hear and imitate the sounds it generates. The implication of using the software can help students to imitate native speaker pronunciation and teachers can reduce their efforts in pronouncing native English sounds because the software functions as a pronunciation learning aid
