Abstract

The waste bank is one of the methods used by the Government of Sleman Regency, DIY, to solve the waste problem. However, citizen participation to be active as customers in the waste bank is still lacking. For this reason, a study was conducted to find out what factors affect the level of activity of citizens in depositing waste into the waste bank. The research uses The Theory of Planned Behavior, coupled with factors: knowledge of how and what and knowledge of consequences. Data was collected through interviews with several bank administrators and customers and filling out the questionnaire. Respondents were selected by purposive sampling from 11 waste banks. The analysis method uses multiple linear regression by testing the significance of the regression model, the coefficient of determination, and the partial effect test of each variable. The results showed that attitudes, subjective norms, contr, knowledge of how and what, and knowledge of consequences simultaneously affected 73% of the intention. Among the five independent variables, only the perceived behavioral control has no partial effect. The study also showed that the intention had a significant effect on the waste bank's active behavior with a coefficient of determination of 63%.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi yang pesat serta pemanfaatannya yang luas membuka peluang bagi seluruh lembaga atau organisasi, Seperti halnya Sekolah Menengah Atas membutuhkan sebuah pengaksesan, pengelolaan, pendayagunaan informasi dalam volume yang besar secara efektif, efisien, cepat dan akurat. Hal tersebut telah memperkuat betapa pentingnya sebuah aplikasi yang dapat mengatasi berbagai masalah yang ada, karena ketertinggalan akan mengakibatkan terhambatnya kinerja dan rendahnya mutunya pelayanan. Salah satunya adalah system informasi bimbingan konseling, dimana system ini dapat mencatat perkembangan siswa selama melakukan studi di sekolah tersebut.Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model prototyping yang meliputi mendengar kebutuhan user, membuat suatu rancangan secara urut tentang penggunaan aplikasi dan mengujikan hasil implementasi kepada user. Sistem dibangun dengan menggunakan Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, serta database dengan Microsoft Access 2003. Hasil penelitian ini berupa perangkat lunak aplikasi sistem sistem informasi bimbingan konseling yang dapat mencatat data lengkap siswa, data persensi, data pelanggaran dan data permasalahan khusus siswa. Sehingga selama masa studi di sekolah perkembangan siswa dapat terkontrol dengan baik.

Abstract

The increasing population in Yogyakarta City has implications for consumption and solid waste production activities. The waste collection process is the most expensive one in municipal waste management. It is necessary to determine the optimal route for municipal waste collection. In this research, we developed a vehicle routing problem (VRP) with a heterogeneous fleet, multiple trips, intermediate facility, and split delivery to approach the Yogyakarta City waste collection problem. We proposed a hybrid genetic algorithm (GA) to solve the VRP. The result of this study shows that developed VRP can be used to solve the Yogyakarta City waste collection problem.

Abstract

Eggshell has a shaft and a high surface area, so it has the potential to become an adsorbent. The adsorbent is an adsorbent in the filtration process. Waste cooking oil can be reused as raw material with economic value. So far, the waste bank that accommodates used waste has not gone through the filtration process, so the selling price is low. Waste cooking can be filtered using various adsorbent media, including activated carbon, commercial silica, and local adsorbents such as eggshells. A filtration process on waste cooking oil is expected to increase income for waste banks. The objective of this study was to investigate formulations adsorbent from eggshells for purification waste cooking oil. The variables used were a variety of particle size adsorbents (60, 80 mesh) and adsorbent weight (10, 15 g). The optimal result for the decreased acidic number was obtained at 60 mesh particle size, weight 15 grams.

Abstract

The research objective is to obtain information about the results of clustering that are useful for the campus, especially study programs, to be used as consideration for future admissions by grouping, causing a mismatch between the number of students and the existing campus facilities. This research was conducted at university X which has several faculties, one of which is faculty Y which consists of the R study program, S study program, T study program and U study program. This research uses the K-Medoids method. The stages of this research started with load dataset, data cleaning, data selection, data transformation with one hot encoding, euclidean distance, and k-medoids to produce clusters. Testing the quality of the clusters in this study using the silhouette coefficient. The research resulted in recommended student data and all of them came from Java Island. In the dataset of study programs R, S, and U, the recommended data are obtained with a total number of 9, 57, and 64, respectively, which have an average math score of at least 82. Meanwhile, for the T study program dataset, there are 35 data with an average mathematical value. amounted to 73.89. The test results for the dataset of study programs R, S, T and U are 0.52, 0.67, 0.35, and 0.65 respectively, so the results are quite good.

Abstract

Supermaket “XYZ” merupakan salah satu yang terbesar di Kota Yogyakarta. Berdasarkan data observasi awal, pola kedatangan pelanggan pada supermaket memiliki pola kedatangan akhir waktu. Tingkat kedatangan pelanggan akan meningkat mendekati supermaket tutup, hal tersebut menjelaskan adanya pola tingkat kedatangan pelanggan yang bergantung pada waktu (non-stationary). Terdapat 2 shift pada pelayanan kasir. Jumlah kasir yang disediakan pada shift 1 sebanyak 10 unit, sedangkan pada shift 2 sebanyak 14 unit setiap harinya. Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan jumlah kasir untuk kedua shift tersebut. Panjang antrian selama sistem dibuka memiliki rata-rata sebanyak 5 pelanggan. Perlu dilakukan kajian terhadap kinerja antrian pada layanan kasir berdasarkan tingkat kedatangan pelanggan yang berubah berdasarkan waktu. Terdapat tiga periode waktu yang terbentuk berdasarkan hasil plotting data jumlah kedatangan setiap menit, yaitu waktu kedatangan periode 1 adalah menit ke 1 hingga 333, periode 2 adalah menit ke 334 hingga 525 dan periode 3 adalah menit ke 526 hingga 720. Berdasarkan pengolahan data sistem antrian untuk ketiga periode diperoleh l(1) dan m(1) adalah 3,02 dan 5,24, l(2) dan m(2) adalah 4,45 dan 4,57, dan l(3) dan m(3) adalah 5,04 dan 2,25. Waktu pelayanan kasir berbeda pada setiap periode. Besarnya nilai tingkat kesibukan kasir pada periode 1 adalah 158%, periode 2 adalah 202% dan periode 3 adalah 81%. Perbedaan waktu pelayanan tersebut dapat dipengaruhi oleh kecepatan kasir dalam memberikan pelayanan dan tersedianya personil lain yang membantu kasir. Sedangkan nilai tingkat kesibukan dengan penyelesaian time dependen adalah 167%, hal tersebut menunjukkan perbedaan tingkat kesibukan yang  tinggi.

Abstract

Adanya aduan dari masyarakat maupun dari walikota Kota Yogyakarta mengenai keberadaan Tempat Pembuangan Sementara (TPS) yang dianggap memberikan dampak buruk bagi lingkungan. Selain itu, beberapa lokasi TPS menyebabkan kemacetan saat pengambilan sampah untuk dibawa ke Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA). Menurut data dari DLH Kota Yogyakarta 32,7% Tempat Pembuangan Sementara (TPS) berada di Sektor Krasak. TPS di sektor krasak lebih didominasi Tempat Pembuangan Sementara berukuran kecil. Kapasitas TPS yang tersedia di sektor Krasak lebih besar dibandingkan volume sumber sampah. Ketidakseimbangan tersebut dapat dipenuhi dengan melakukan penutupan TPS yang berukuran kecil. Selain itu terdapat TPS yang tidak dapat menampung sumber sampah dengan jarak terdekat, sehingga perlu dilakukan perluasan fasilitas (redesign).  Fasilitas umum berupa pendidikan formal dapat memberikan tambahan penyumbang timbulan sampah. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk meminimalkan jumlah TPS di Sektor Krasak dengan mempertimbangkan kapasitas penampungan TPS. Pendekatan penyelesaikan permasalahan ini menggunakan set covering problem. Penentuan fasilitas yang diperluas dilakukan secara diskrit. Keputusan terbaik menggunakan tiga kondisi yaitu: (1) Peningkatan kapasitas TPSS Tribrata, (2) Peningkatkan kapasitas TPSS Kusbini I dan (3) Peningkatan kapasitas keduanya. Berdasarkan ketiga kondisi tersebut terpilih keputusan terbaik merupakan kondisi 2, dimana peningkatkan TPSS Kusbini I sesuai kapasitas maksimal untuk TPSS sebesar 32 m3 dari lima kelurahan di Kecamatan Gondokusuman dan keseluruhan sarana pendidikan formal memerlukan total kapasitas TPS total sebesar 118 m3. Sehingga, TPS yang akan tetap dibuka yaitu Depo Sagan, Landasan Kontainer RRI, TPSS Pengok dan TPSS Kusbini I

Abstract

Waste Cooking Oil (WCO) is the waste that came from household. WCO become a threat to community because it will come back to food chains again as residual bulk oil that have cheaper price than branded cooking oil. Lintas Winongo Waste Bank in Bumijo, Jetis, Yogyakarta City are trying to manage the waste cooking oil into recycled products. One of their products is aromatherapy candles. However, they had problem to produce the candles and sell it. They also faced problem about the odor of candle that came from WCO as raw material. The purpose of community service were to provide knowledge and skills to produce aromatherapy candles and to calculate the Cost of Goods Sold (CoGS). The methods in this activity were carried out in two stage. The first activity has organized by training and assistance in producing aromatherapy candles that mixed WCO and other ingredients. The second activity focused in calculating CoGS of candles. The results from these community service activities were increased knowledge and skills about producing aromatherapy candles. There were also increased knowledge about manage CoGS of their products

Abstract

Waste management is an important thing that needs to be resolved. The accumulation of garbage and the not yet managed urban and rural waste are one of the driving factors for this community service. Desa Semanu is one of the villages that already has a TPS-3R in Gunung Kidul Regency but the TPS-3R has not been utilized optimally. This study uses a qualitative method with community empowerment program. Aims for this research is to know the implementation of community empowerment programs. Furthermore, the purpose community service is to make Desa Semanu into a village that cares about waste by taking advantage of the integration of TPS 3R and a waste bank. One of the activities that have been carried out to support a village that cares about waste is by providing counseling about the dangers of burning waste to the environment and health. In addition, there was also counseling on the assistance of the Ahmad Dahlan University Center of Energy and Environmental Studies to make Desa Semanu can make a Waste Care Village. Based on the evaluation that has been carried out, most of the extension participants have increased their knowledge of solid waste knowledge.

Abstract

This study focuses on measuring the productivity of PT.X, especially the welding and painting unit, based on the total realization of production, several employees, working hours, overtime hours, and lost hours of employees. The purpose of this study is to propose a strategy for improving the productivity ratio of the welding and painting unit, which is still below the standard by setting performance criteria standards. The method used is the objective matrix (OMAX) and root cause analysis (RCA) which is carried out using six ratios of productivity measurement and looking for the root cause of the ratio at a level below the standard. The results show that three ratios are still below the standard of the six productivity measurement ratios, such as ratios 2, 3, and 5. These ratios need to be improved by increasing the realization of production results, reducing the number of absent workers, and reducing the total working hours of employees every month. Based on the study results, improvements in the three ratios were able to increase the productivity index of PT.X's welding and painting units.
