Abstract

Basically, character education is a conscious and planned effort to educate and empower students' potential in building their personal character so that they can become individuals who benefit themselves and their environment. Independent is doing activities that are done alone without help and without depending on others. In order for class III students to have independent character, outdoor activities are needed. Outdoor activities are learning that is carried out outside the classroom which is fun because you can enjoy the outdoors created by God Almighty. The purpose of this study was to analyze the independent character of class III outdoor activities at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surabaya. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and interview techniques. The research subjects were third grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surabaya. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that students are able to practice outdoor activities in their daily activities independently. Students are no longer dependent on other people such as parents, teachers and friends. Outdoor activities make students more enthusiastic about learning and make students think more critically.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the mathematical understanding of grade I elementary school students using the Quizizz application media in mathematics lessons. The study in this article is focused on the mathematical understanding of elementary school students in using the Quizizz application in mathematics lessons. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method, the data source consists of the results of interviews with teachers using teacher interview sheets, student observations using student observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The focus in this research is to analyze students' systematic understanding in using the quizizz application. Based on the data obtained during the research using the quizizz application for class 1 students at SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surabaya, it shows that students are able to fulfill the four indicators of mathematical understanding including students are able to mention the concept of the material being studied, students are able to apply concepts algorithmically, students are able to identify and make examples of concepts that have been studied, and students are able to associate mathematical concepts with external and internal mathematical concepts. In addition, in this study, researchers found an increase in interest in learning as evidenced by the enthusiasm of students when working on the questions given on Quizizz. Overall students can answer correctly so that they show good understanding, but there are several obstacles to students, namely there are students who cannot read so the teacher must provide assistance to these students. So it can be concluded that grade 1 students at SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surabaya are able to understand mathematical concepts so that students' mathematical understanding is achieved according to the indicators of mathematical understanding

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the project-based learning model (PjBL) to train the creative thinking skills of fifth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 13 in social studies learning. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique used is technique and source triangulation. Triangulation techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. While triangulation of sources includes fifth grade students, fifth grade teachers, and school principals. The results of the research on the application of the PjBL learning model that has been implemented properly in accordance with the PjBL syntax can train students' creative thinking skills, with the application of PjBL students can have the opportunity to train and develop their creative thinking skills, and this PjBL model can train students' creative thinking skills in social studies learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui evaluasi pembelajaran IPS melalui aplikasi quizizz di SD Hidayatul Ummah Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 5 SD Hidayatul Ummah Surabaya yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode wawancara, dokumentasi dan Kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi pembelajaran IPS Sekolah Dasar melalui aplikasi quizizz memudahkan guru serta siswa dalam evaluasi pembelajaran IPS kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Abstrak: Siswa penyandang tunagrahita merupakan siswa yang memiliki keterbatasan intelektual dan kemampuan kognitif yang berada di bawah rata-rata. Selain itu, mereka juga memiliki daya serap dan daya ingat yang cukup rendah sehingga kesulitan dalam mengingat dan menyebutkan angka yang guru ajarkan kepada mereka. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa tunagrahita SLB Karya Bhakti Surabaya dalam mengenal dan belajar bilangan 1-20 beserta operasinya dengan menggunakan media numberbox multisensory. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah siswa tunagrahita kelas 4 dan 5 SLB Karya Bhakti Surabaya yang terdiri dari 6 orang siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah metode Community Based Participatory. Adapun tahapan dalam proses penerapan metode Community Based Participatory terbagi ke dalam 4 fase, yaitu: (1) tahap persiapan, (2) tahap sosialisasi, (3) tahap implementasi, (4) tahap evaluasi, dan (5) tahap keberlanjutan program. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan daya ingat siswa terhadap angka 1-20 yang dibuktikan dengan hasil pre-test 36% dan post-test 62%. Artinya terdapat peningkatan pemahaman siswa tunagrahita sebesar 26% setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran numberbox multisensory pada materi pengenalan angka 1-20. Selain itu, penguunaan media numberbox multisensory dapat membuat pembelajaran lebih efektif dan menyenangkan.Abstract: Students with disabilities are students who have intellectual limitations and cognitive abilities that are below average. In addition, they also have a fairly low absorption and memory so that it is difficult to remember and mention the numbers that the teacher teaches them. The purpose of this service is to educate and provide assistance to students with disabilities in recognizing and learning mathematical numbers and their operations using the Multisensory Numberbox learning media. The target of this activity is students with disabilities in grades 4 and 5 of SLB Karya Bhakti Surabaya consisting of 6 students. The method used in the implementation of this activity is the Community Based Participatory method. The stages in the process of implementing the Community Based Participatory method are divided into 4 phases, namely: (1) preparation stage, (2) socialization stage, (3) implementation stage, (4) evaluation stage, and (5) program sustainability stage. The result of this activity is an increase in students' knowledge and memory of the numbers 1-20 as evidenced by the results of the pre-test 36% and the post-test 62%. This means that there is an increase in the understanding of students with disabilities by 26% after using multisensory numberbox learning media in the number 1-20 recognition material. In addition, the acquisition of multisensory numberbox media can make learning more effective and fun.

Abstract

The lack of innovative learning media impacts students' diminishing abilities. Besides that, other problems were also found in students' needing more digital literacy. This study aims to create the use of word walls as an interactive media game-based learning to strengthen digital literacy, especially for elementary school students. This type of research is qualitative research. The research method in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects of upper-class students (grade V) totaling 20 people. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results are that students are enthusiastic about participating in class so that learning becomes more enjoyable compared to conventional learning, and students do not feel bored when learning occurs. Based on digital literacy skills, it is known that students are capable and proficient in operating digital technology word wall templates chasing in mazes, and matching games from the beginning to the end of the game. Using word walls can strengthen digital literacy for elementary school students. This study concludes that using word walls is a new thing that can arouse students' enthusiasm in learning.

Abstract

The government succeeded in designing the curriculum but the obstacles in literacy, mathematics, and science were constrained in implementation so that further performance was held. This study aims to analyse the independent curriculum's implementation on literacy in Indonesian language skills in grade 4 elementary school. This type of research is qualitative. The approach used is a qualitative research approach. Participants in this study were students in grade 4 (four) elementary schools, teachers, and principals. Data collection techniques were carried out through data triangulation (combined). The instrument used in collecting data is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique consists of data collection, data reduction, presentation of data, and concluding/verification. The study results prove that the pattern of applying the independent curriculum to literacy in Indonesian language lessons in grade 4 can be used with 4 (four) applications. First, there is literacy training both in class and outside the classroom. Second, parenting students. Third, collaboration between class teachers and school principals regarding school programs implemented in class. Fourth is the habit of reading. With these four applications, it is hoped that students' literacy skills can be evenly distributed throughout Indonesia so that the generation of the Indonesian nation can become the younger generation by producing the best achievements.

Abstract

At that time, Indonesia was facing a new normal or new habits after the end of the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia has had an impact on the education sector. According to Yulita et al., (2001) responsibility is also what can be carried out in fulfilling the specified student competencies. Students who are not responsible for learning will get less than optimal results, so that these students cannot know how big their results are. The attitude of students’ responsibility after the covid andemi cis very diverse. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of responsibility of fourth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 13 in limited face-to-face learning. This research uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used in researchers are interviews, questionnaires and documentation. From the results of the analysis made by the researcher, as for students who are lacking in learning, the need for full attention from teachers and parents in order to carry out responsibilities and understand the meaning of responsibility itself. Meanwhile, students who are capable of learning already understand how and when the responsibility must be carried out.
