Abstract

This study examined the writing skills of visual impairment when Y (initials) experienced some errors in writting some diction words by the teacher, Y reduced, replaced or even eliminated letters that should has been written.This research used a quantitative approach of Single Subject Research (SSR) with design of multiple baseline cross variables. The results of this research showed that CBM (Curriculum Based Measurement) can increase to be effectivelly the writing skills of students with visual impairment in SDLB.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to describe: (1) the study result of arithmetic addition operation for fourth grade student with mentally retarded in SDLB before playing the Snake and Ladder activity (2) the study result of arithmetic addition operation for fourth grade student with mentally retarded in SDLB after playing the Snake and Ladder activity (3) the effect of Snake and Ladder playing toward the result study of arithmetic addition for fourth grade student with mentally retarded SDLB. This research used SSR (Single Subject Research) with A-B-A design. Collecting the data was done by using assessment instrument, tests and observations. The result of this research showed that playing Snake and Ladder affected the study result of arithmetic addition operation for fourth-grade children with mentally retarded student in SDLB.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan (1) Hasil belajar penjumlahan siswa kelas 4 SDLB sebelum melakukan kegiatan bermain Ular Tangga (2) Hasil belajar penjumlahan siswa kelas 4 SDLB sesudah melakukan kegiatan bermain Ular Tangga (3) Pengaruh bermain Ular Tangga terhadap hasil belajar penjumlahan siswa kelas 4 SDLB. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian SSR (Single Subject Research) dengan desain A-B-A. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen assesmen, tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bermain ular tangga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar penjumlahan siswa tunagrahita kelas 4 SDLB.

Abstract

The intellectual mild on mild intelectual disability students causes students to become less in their environmental and academic response. Mild intelectual disability students have difficulty in remembering a name or form. This study aims to determine the value in the students can before and after using the media geoboard and know-how big influence of geoboard media to understanding the geometric concept. This research method used Pre-experimental One Group Pretest-posttest. The subjects of this study were students of mild intelectual disability in SLB PGRI Dlanggu Mojokerto, which amounted to 5 students. Data were collected by using written test method before treatment and after treatment with the same problem. There is a comparative value of pretest average and posttest average of 54%. So the conclusion of this research "There is a significant influence of geoboard media on the understanding of the geometric concept of students with mild intelectual disability SLB PGRI Dlanggu Mojokerto". Abstract

With Limitation of thingking, certainly children with intellectual disability have some learning difficulties especially academic lessons. Children with intellectual disability have many characteristics, one of them is quickly bored and forget something easily. Dice game in this study refers to a game used by researchers in attempt to improve children with intellectual disability’s limited numeracy skill to calculate the dice that appears. In this study, researchers used quantitave approach with data test and documentation as data collecting thecnic. While study design in use was one group pretest-posttest design. It was concluded that the use of dice game media can improve numeracy skills.Dalam keterbatasan berfikir anak tunagrahita tentu mengalami kesulitan belajar terutama pelajaran akademik. Anak tunagrahita mempunyai karakteristik salah satunya adalah cepat bosan dan mudah lupa.Permainan dadu yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah permainan yang digunakan peneliti sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung saat anak tunagrahita yang terbatas pada menghitung mata dadu yang muncul. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data test dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-postest design. Kesimpulan penggunaan permainan dadu dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung pada tunagrahita.

Abstract

Visual Impairment is obstacle in vision function that requires a different way of learning with other normal person. Visual impairment have the tools to learn how to read and writing like braille. Reading is activity that is needed to get the information. The objective of this study is to describe the effect of sally mangold tactual perception exercise toward subject’s early reading ability that viewed from before and after intervention. The method was experiment of single subject reasecrh design with A-B-A model. The conclusion of this study was found a positive effect of Sally Mangold tactual perception exercise toward subject’s early reading ability. The positive effect was seen from the increase score subject’s early reading ability from 50% to 98%.Tunanetra merupakan hambatan fungsi pengelihatan yang membutuhkan cara belajar yang berbeda dengan orang normal lainnya. tunanetra memiliki alat untuk belajar membaca dan menulis disebut braille. Membaca adalah kegiatan yang diperlukann untuk mendapatkan informasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pengaruh latihan persepsi taktual Sally Mangold terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan subyek dilihat dari sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain Single Subyek Resecrh dan model A-B-A. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ditemukan pengaruh positif latihan persepsi taktual Sally Mangold terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan subyek. Pengaruh tersebut dilihat dari skor kemampuan membaca permulaan subyek dari 50% menjadi 98%.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um029v4i12017p069

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of Learning by Doing methods in the field of horticultural skills to improve the ability of calculating summation for students with intellectual disability. The experimental research method is used with the design of the one group pretest-posttest. The data were analyzed with the Wilcoxon of the Signed Rank Test. The results showed that the Learning by Doing method in the field of horticultural skills had an effect on the increase in the ability of calculating summation for students with intellectual disability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the results of mathematics learning mental retardation children before using approach Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI), describe the results of mathematics learning mental retardation children after using approach Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI), describes the effect of approach Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik Indonesia to mathematics learning mental retardation children. The study included a quasi-experimental study (quasi experiment) with the same comparison subjects in different conditions. The research instrument is a test for the pretest and posttes. The analysis technique used is the hypothesis test using the Spearman Rank by SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Results reveal that the average student learning outcomes at the time of the pretest was 50.3, while the post-test was 86.4. The results obtained output sig. (2-tailed) of 0, 264. Indicates that sig. (2-tailed) ≤ α / 2. So it can be concluded that the approach of Realistic Mathematics Learning Indonesian affect children's math learning outcomes mental retardation.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika anak tunagrahita sebelum menggunakan pendekatan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI), serta menggambarkan hasil belajar matematika anak tunagrahita setelah menggunakan pendekatan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI), dan menjelaskan pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran matematika Realistik Indonesia untuk belajar matematika anak tunagrahita. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuasi-eksperimental (eksperimen semu) dengan subjek perbandingan yang sama dalam kondisi yang berbeda. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes untuk pretest dan posttes. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji hipotesis menggunakan Spearman Rank dengan SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada saat pretest adalah 50,3, sedangkan post-test adalah 86,4. Hasil yang diperoleh keluaran sig. (2-tailed) 0, 264. Menunjukkan sig itu. (2-tailed) ≤ α / 2. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan Realistic Matematika Belajar Indonesia mempengaruhi belajar matematika anak tunagrahita.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the quality of science with the usage of the macromedia flash animation media for students with hearing impairment in the grade IIof Elementary Special School. The method used was Clasroom Action Research (CAR) with qualitative design. The results of the data analysis showed that the subjects experienced an enhancement in the results of student’s activities in cycle I 50,90% increasing in cycle II 73,66%, the results of student learning in cycle I 64,99% increasing in cycle II 73,93%.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan media animasi macromedia flash bagi siswa tunarungu kelas II SDLB. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Classroom Action Research (CAR) adalah dengan model kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa subjek mengalami peningkatan pada pembelajaran IPA yang dapat dilihat dari peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar pada siklus I dan siklus II. Persentase aktivitas siswa siklus I 50,90% meningkat siklus II 73,66% Sedangkan hasil belajar siklus I 64,99% meningkat siklus II 73,93%.
